Back in the Stables

[Violet "Vi" Coustic]

Tune carried and hands moved as Violet kept brushing down Beau after their ride. Longing had built and feet had moved before Violet had even realized she had grabbed Beau's saddle.  Saddle was tied and body was pulled as Violet had hoped up on the big horse and rode out to the pastures.

The ride itself had been great. Smile had formed and laughter had erupted, Violet and Beau had ridden out into the grass underneath the lowering sun. Cold had bitten, but Violet had been too caught up in the sheer feel of riding to even care about the winds that nipped at her. Freedom felt and crisp air breathed in, she had simply lost herself to the motion and let herself go, although with Beau.

Ride ended, the two had headed back thirty minutes later and Violet had started addressing her horse with brush and all. "You had fun too, didn't you Beau?" She asked, voice soft and affectionate. Beau turned her head and nickered lightly, butting her nose into Violet happily as her tail swished. Soft laughter, Violet pet her on the head before returning to what she was doing.

Ears pricked and head turned as she caught another sound though. Eyes observed as Violet noticed she was not along in the stables. "Hello. You need somethin'? Come to ride one've the horses?" She asked, tone calm and friendly.
