Blair looked at the time. 11:00 PM. It was way past curfew. She rarely stayed up this late--but she had a date with Lister on the roof. Well, "date" may not quite be the proper word but she liked to think of it that way. She had been looking forward to it since they had set it up last night. She looked at the time again--11:05 PM.
That's it. She could not wait any longer. She slipped on her hoodie, zipped it up and stepped out of her room silently. She listened for her roommate's soft breathing before sneaking out of their dorm. Creeping through the South Wing, she made her way to the boys' dormitories with her hood up like the creeper that she was. The thought of getting caught actually excited her. It never even crossed her mind whether the boy was worth it or not.
She had stalked Lister D. Reynolds enough to know his dorm number and the fact that he stayed there alone. Clutching her excuse the movie she rented a few days ago in one hand, she rapped the knuckles of her other on the door to Room 404. "Lister," she whispered. She wondered if he was a heavy sleeper. "Wake up."

LDR had crashed, he was absolutely shattered after a few late nights and full on school during the day. He had meant to practice his sax, and it even stood assembled at the foot of his bed, but decided a nice long shower would be a better use of his time. This was a bad idea. After chucking on a hoodie and a pair of boxers, LDR curled up underneath his covers, hair still slightly damp, and began to nod off. Some thought kept him from fully falling asleep for a few moments but the warmth of his covers soon dragged him under.
He must not have slept longer than half an hour when the knocking pulled him away from his dreams, not fully waking him. Pulling the covers tighter around himself, he groaned slightly "G-G-G-Go away, Be-Ben...I-I-I'm trying to sleep..." He was pretty sure it was Ben, who else would be up at this hour and outside his door? Although the voice did sound a bit higher than Ben's. It certainly wasn't Demi though, she would have already tried kicking down the unlocked door by now. Things were a bit weird with Barry after the awkward talk so it probably wasn't him. Shrugging, LDR brought the cover closer to himself and tried to fall back asleep.

Ben? Blair pouted though she had no reasonable reason to. His natural assumption was that Ben was visiting. Who the heck was Ben? Who else would go to his room in the middle of the night if not her? But then she smiled again--he sounded so cute half-asleep.
Experimentally, she tried to turn the doorknob--the door slid open. She was surprised; she did not expect it to work and it was a long shot anyway. "Lister, you dork," she whispered to herself. She slipped into his dorm and closed the door behind her, instinctively locking it. Because that was what a normal person did, they locked their doors after entering.
The girl followed the sound of Lister's beathing--she was getting better at this--and tiptoed into his bedroom. Her heart beat faster. The boy was curled underneath the covers. She hesitated. Maybe she should just leave so he could get some sleep. Or maybe she could slip herself under the covers with him--it was a cold night. She stifled a giggle at the thought. He would probably get a heart attack if she did so. But she came too far to just walk away now--and there was that possibility he would forget and not show up at the roof later.
Blair tiptoed to his bed side so she would be facing him if he ever emerged from those blankets. She reached out a hand, placed it where she guessed his arm would be and shook gently. "Lister, wake up," she whispered again. "It's Blair. Wake up, Sleeping Beauty. Don't make me kiss you."

LDR muttered something under his breath as he heard the door click open, he'd given up locking it after Demi threatened to kick it down. Sighing he pulled the blanket closer "Be-Ben, pl-please I'm trying to sleep..." He had fully enveloped himself inside his blanket by now, having curled up into a little ball. His heart stopped when the person placed their hand on his arm. And then her voice, he couldn't quite place it even as she said his name. He wasn't fully awake as he sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes "B-B-Blair?" Without his glasses he couldn't fully see the girl in front of him, a hand searching for them on his bedside table.
Finally finding them he fully took in the situation "Bl-Bl-Bl-Blair?! Wh-Wh-What are you do-doing he-here?" His chest tightened, heart beating madly. What the fuck was she doing in his room? He jumped backwards from the girl, waving his hands in front of him "Uh...N-N-N-N-No ki-ki-ki-ki..."

Blair smiled as he woke up, still groggy. But then he practically yelled when he registered she was there. Panicking slightly, she jumped towards him and placed a hand over his mouth. "A little louder, why don't you?" she said sarcastically. "I don't think the warden heard." She rolled her eyes. "And relax, I was just kidding about the kiss." For now.
Looking down, only then did she notice what he was wearing--or rather, what he was not--he wore no shirt under only a hoodie and she can only imagine what he had on under those covers. She blushed deeply--she was pretty much on top of him now. Hearing his raced heart beats, she pulled back a little sheepishly. She also realized she was sitting on the edge of his bed--and he was on the far side. "Sorry, I did not mean to surprise you like that." Her shoulders lifted in a shrug. "As you probably already know, I have a problem with boundaries." She fiddled with her fingers. Now that he was awake, she worried she might lose her nerve.
"You see, I know we initially planned to meet later but I was thinking we could watch a movie instead." Avoiding his eyes--well, any part of him, really--she picked up the DVD case from where she dropped it--The Woman in Black. "Considering it is almost Halloween..."

His face burned like someone had set the room on fire. Why was she on top of him? He looked up at the her as her body lay across him, hand covering his mouth. The knock had caused his blanket to slide down further, showing the bright red top of his bottom half. Had it been possible for his face to get any hotter it would have done so. His heart bounded faster As she clambered off of him, LDR tried his best to bring his blanket back up. He had forgotten they were going to meet up - hoped she had forgotten - owing to his lack of attire.
"Uhh...I-I-I-I..." The boy's eyes followed her as she floundered about for the film, becoming distracted when she bent over in her capris trousers. Wait, why was he so interested in her...He shook his head quietly, looking down at the gap between them. A film might not be so bad, if it weren't for the fact she had jump on top of him.
He couldn't tell her to leave, could he? Taking a deep breath, LDR looked back up at her "Wh-Wh-Wh-What film?"

Blair was glad they did not linger on the topic of weird behaviour--she would not have much of an explanation for it anyway. She lifted the case. "The Woman In Black. Have you watched it? I know it came out, like, ages ago but I never got the chance. So I rented it last week and still have not gotten round to it. I have to return it soon so I figured," she shrugged, "why not. I heard it is pretty good but I never read the book either. And Daniel Radcliffe is in it if that is any extra incentive." That last one was a little odd.
She bit her lip to keep from talking. She was blabbering, she knew. And what was with her escessive use of conjunctions? She made a mental note to reevaluate her life choices. She looked around Lister's room for the first time that night but her night vision was not that well tuned yet--though she spied a type of instrument at the foot of his bed. She would ask about that later. Still, when she breathed in she could smell the familiar faint scent of oranges. "So are you up for it?"

"N-N-No, I ha-ha-haven't." He still couldn't explain why the sight of her in capris had excited him so much, they weren't even particular short just a bit tigh-... The boy chewed one of his nails as she glanced around his room, it was relatively clean apart from the few art supplies spilled over his desk and the aftermath of his shower. Even so he was worried that the state of it might make her think he was a slob. They were both still in semi darkness, the only light coming from the moon shining into his room through a gap in his curtains.
"Uhh...S-S-S-Sure..." He glanced down at his blanket "I-I-I-I'm going to st-stay un-under this..." His face burned hotter as he shuffled around so he was no longer on the edge of the bed. LDR didn't want to think about her climbing under his blanket but knew it was inevitable. The thought attracted him slightly though. He noticed her looking at the instrument, praying that she wouldn't ask him about it. It wasn't that he was so embarrassed that he could play just he didn't like to play in front of people, it took him about an hour to build up the confidence to attend his lessons.
Oh god I'm going to need to get to set up the film. Could I just drag the blanket with me? His heart started to beat faster as he thought about her seeing his complete lack of pajamas. He glanced around, meeting her gaze "Uhh...I-I-I-I..." He gulped "D-Do you wa-wa-wa-want me to se-se-se-se-set it u-up?"

Blair smiled at how nervous he was, glad he did not shoo her out instead. She laughed softly at his question. "Well, this is your room. I do not where everything is so that would be preferable." She placed the case between them. "You know, I was never one for horror movies--I watch maybe one every year for Halloween. Must be the fever. I get traumatized after each one--I'm scared shirtless of clowns because of this one movie I saw as a kid. And Edvard Munch's work never had the same effect on me ever since Scream. What about you? Do you like scary movies?"
She chittered all this while slipping out of her hoodie, dumping it on the floor--because she was a slight slob too--and slid herself under his blankets. The thought of "getting into bed with Lister" made her cheeks warm guitily. She snuggled with the sheets, wishing she had something to hug--she supposed the boy himself was off limits. Shaking the image out of her mind, she propped a pillow up against the headrest of the bed and leaned against it, the blankets only coming up to her waist. "By the way, you never told me you played the saxophone."
