The girl qas terrified. Utterly terrified. She felt sick. The rest of her gym class were bouncing balls across the court, the sounds and screams of the playing girls made her head hurt. She her broken away from the rest of the class, pressed nervously into a corner. Her legs were crossed, her body slightly bent.
She need the toilet.
Of course she was far to terrified and shy to ask the teacher if she could leave, so she just stood there, looking all the more terrified as the moments went by. Slowly she looked down to see a dark patch spreading across her pants and down her leg. Luckily she was mostly hidden by a stack of matts. Tears threatened to spill onto her cheeks and she stuck two of her fingers in her mouth, chewing them nervously. Tag Blair Collins

They were playing dodge-ball in gym class that day. Blair despised it. The game itself was perfectly fine but the girls playing it? Not so much. Her senses were overwhelmed by the screams, flying balls, and sweat. They were split of into two teams but there seemed more like four groups of students and both teams had their share of each.
The first group: They were yelling profanities across the gymnasium, throwing fast balls. Much to enthusiastic for Blair's taste--and a little violent. The next group: These girls were squealing and screeching the whole time, running from the balls. Whether their fear and terror were sincere, she had no idea. Third group, which Blair was a part of: Just trying to survive the class. And lastly: This group consists of girls who seemed to have disappeared--the true dodgers.
About halfway through, the girl noticed someone in particular was cowering in a corner. She walked towards her. "Rylee, you okay there, mate?" She placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.

The girl chewed her fingers harder, her chest tight. Her eyes were filler with tears, though none had yet spilled into her cheeks. She looked up in utter terror when Blair came over, her legs moving to cross further in a failed attempt to hid the patch of urine which had spread from her crotch.

The little girl looked at her with terror in her eyes. Blair felt kind of her. She thought they were on good terms. That was when she saw it. "Oh." Her grey eyes scanned the gymnasium and saw the teacher was some distance away. The poor dear must be so frightened. "Wait here."
Blair went up to the teacher. "Uhm, miss? I think Rylee is not feeling well." She made a face as if she was about to gag.
The teacher looked mortified. Most people thought "I really have to go" was the magic line but Blair knew that teachers feared children barfing even more. "Take her to the nurse's office or something, Collins." She gave her a hall pass and waved her hand in dismissal.
Blair accepted this and returned to her friend. "Let's go. I have a spare skirt of you'd like."

The girl remained silent and still as Blair went of, the tears falling like rain drops down her red face. When Blair returned Rylee reached out and gripped her hand, nodding gently and waiting for her to lead the way

Blair paused only to grab her backpack from the bleachers and rushed the girl out of the gymnasium while their classmates and teacher were distracted by the game. Fortunately they did not meet anyone on the way to the bathrooms so Rylee did not need to hide much--so far anyway. She patted the girl's which gripped her own. "It's okay, dear. We'll get you sorted out soon." She gave a comforting smile.

The girl's face was burning red as Blair led her away. Why was she such a baby! Why couldnt see be normal and just ask to go to the toilet instead of wetting herself like a baby. She kept her eyes om the floor, her tears falling silently down her face. She held a firm grip on Blair's hand, though she wanted to dissapear

Upon reaching the thankfully empty bathroom, Blair took the spare skirt she mentioned out of her backpack. "I always bring one on days with gym--just in case." She started to hand the plain black skirt to Rylee when she saw her still red face. She put a hand on the smaller girl's shoulder. "Hey, don't worry about it. I know how scary dodgeball can be." She smiled. "We're all human, sweetie, it happens. You do not have to be embarrassed with me."
