Erin was not a sports person; that was obvious, but the girl she was currently working on 'wooing' and was also still close friends with was into sport. Erin didn't fully understand why someone would like such a thing but Alex did so Erin had done what she needed to do in order to understand the game...sort of. She mainly just found out what teams Alex liked and kept track of how they were doing so she could bring it up in conversation and show that she did care about the other girl's interest that did not align with her own.
The guide books said that it was important to be able to relate to someone outside your own likes. "Hmmm...one of her teams got destroyed in tonight game. Like slaughtered. she had to be feeling torn up about it." Erin said out loud to herself when she got the notification on her computer that the game was over and it allowed her to see the score. Yes, Erin really had made an effort with all of this and even had it so her various systems would give her alerts and updates. She had been in the middle of replaying Life Is Strange, but this was far more important. She looked to her phone, expecting to maybe get invited to come comfort or something.
Then again...Alex did have a boyfriend so probably he was there comforting her. No wait, he would be out about this time. Perfect! Erin was quick to staff her bag that slung across her chest and hung off to the side of her hip. She made sure to load it with the essentials; meaning that of course that there were skittles in the bag since she knew that Alex really liked them. Then she was heading out, going to her friend’s room and knocking on the door, thankfully being let in by one of Alex's roommates and proceeding to knock on Alex's door. "Hey, Alex. I-its Erin. You want to hang?" Erin asked before face-palming.
You want to hang? She is probably upset. Shit, you didn't text her before you left! Now it’s going to be like super out of the blue and random. Erin thought to herself as she let out a heavy sigh. Just great, perfect start to her next phase of her plan and that was one hundred perfect sarcasm.
