Devyn hated doing this kind of thing over the phone. Hell, she hated just using her phone in general for things other then taking photos, videos, and of course flirting with her girlfriend when she was busy. Still, she felt like Ellen was probably too busy to deal with talking to her in person at the moment. In fact, Devyn felt like Ellen didn't even care about her anymore and their friendship of three years meant nothing. Then again she tried to tell herself that she was just feeling emotional of late with fear that she was going to be losing those closest to her again like she always did. She still sent the text while she was hanging outside the window of Ellen's room.
Ellen.
You busy.
I want to talk.
Preferably in person but we can do it over the phone.

Ellen rolled her eyes as she looked at the incoming texts Oh Devyn was so needy at times, pawing jumping at her heels like a dog pining for attention. Ellen goes a few days without speaking to Dev for a few days.
So needy for attention...
But at the last few texts Ellen's eyes went wide figuring out where exactly she was "Oh for Goodness sake..." She muttered making her way to the window leaning out of it locking eyes with Devyn "What the hell is wrong with you. Get down. Use the door, before you break your neck you idiot

Devyn did indeed get needy when it came to not hearing from her friends in a while. She really was the kind of person who did not mind being alone from time to time but when she was close to people, she wanted them around. Of course she still let them have their space and she had her own but with time if there was not contact she would start to get worried. It had to be some kind of dog or animal thing when you would start to worry that someone was never coming back.
It was pretty much that feeling a dog would get when their master would leave and they were worried said master would never return. Devyn remained in the tree, a huge grin on her face when Ellen opened up the window and was scolding her. So cute. Devyn just waved, not really bothered by the scolding because Ellen should have known by now that Dev didn't always do the smartest or safest things at times. "I need my Banksy time. I miss you." Devyn responded with a whimper. she shoot her head no when Ellen told her to get down.
"Catch me!" Devyn called out as she just went for it and jumped. Of course she did not expect Ellen to catch her and thankfully she made the jump; just managing to get a good hold on the side of the window. She did need a little bit help being pulled in since her footing was not the best, which she figured Ellen would quickly catch onto by how she was currently struggling. Hopefully Ellen would help her out and get her inside the safety of the room instead of the risk of falling and no doubt breaking something.

Typical. Typical. Typical. Just typical of the people that Ellen hung out with, every single one of them was a drama queen constantly looking for Ellen's attention Ellen felt like a student and more a baby siter for the vast majority of the school's population. She was often struck by the sensation of believing she was the only sane person in a school full of lunatics.
Yet, she was the one with "Issues" isn't it funny how things worked out like that.
Like now, what on earth was Devyn trying to prove? Was she really just so reckless? Was it really too much for Devyn to think about her actions even for the smallest moment? "Yes, we get it. you're wild animal and were all suitably impressed by how rebellious you are now get down!" Ellen warned her again knowing full well that she might as well be shouting against the wind. What she should have done is just back away and not respond. The attention just encouraged her.
It happened so quick that Ellen didn't have a chance to react as she uttered a small squeak, her hand reaching out for Dev on insist but she stumbled back when Dev leaped in her window frame but she managed to recover in time to see Dev clutching for support in her window frame.
She should just leave her there....Dev is just going to rush in and roll around her room like a mutt after Ellen had JUST finished cleaning it. Really it's her own fault if she falls. Maybe that's the only way she'll learn that this kind of thing was to put it bluntly; stupid
But they both knew that Ellen wouldn't
Damn it
Rolling her eyes and cursing Dev under her breath she leaned forward and grabbed Dev's arms to steady herself "I'm the most forgiving friend you'll ever have you know that?"

Ellen Banks honestly should have known better considering how long she had known Devyn and the things they went through and had done together. Ellen might have denied them but they still happened and nothing she said or did was going to change that. Sure the two of them no longer fooled around in such a way in a while, but Dev of course still teased her about it. Still knew how to really get under Ellen's skin the right way, and even shared a few things with that blonde back when Ellen and that Roxana girl were living together. Word on the street was that Ellen had someone else vying for...her heart or something. Dev didn't know, she tried not to pay attention to that kind of thing for a reason.
A reason that was partly why she was bothering Ellen in such a drastic way in the first place. Dev would have explained to Ellen why she was doing all of this but she was no mind reader. Thus she had no clue what was going through the other girl's mind other than the assumed silent judgment and disconnect for Dev being so reckless. Ellen was starting to say as much now which had Devyn chuckling a little bit. Devyn would have said something back to that but then there was that whole jumping and almost missing thing to deal with. Thankfully Ellen did seem to care and didn't let Devyn just hang there and struggle to climb in on her own. The squeak was adorable. It was part of the reason why Devyn was chuckling when she should have probably taken her situation a bit more serious because the fall was certainly going to hurt or kill her if she were to fall.
"You are and that is why I love you and we have been friends for years." Devyn said as she gladly took the help. Purposely falling in a way that allowed her to end up hugging Ellen and snuggling into her a little bit. Ellen smelled so good all the time. "You should already know I do this because I need your attention. I'm like a puppy that rips up your shit when you leave to long.” Devyn pointed out, holding the hug for a moment longer before she proceed to go about Ellen's room and basically slide over things. Knocking some things down, moving some other stuff, and in general doing what Ellen had to deal with all the time when Dev had not been in her room in a while; marking 'her territory'.

Urg. She should have left her there, at least then she wouldn't have to endure the ususal "You wub me" Speal that Dev was fond of, and blah blah blah friendship blah. Honestly people thought Ellen was bad they should really talk to Dev to see smug.
But she supposed that was Ellen's fault for letting him into so many things...
Ellen grunted as Dev hugged her ever so deeply as normal as always naturally pushing all the air out of her lungs pinning Ellen's arms by the side, Ellen was never comfortable which such "In your face" affection having never been giving hugs as a child. Ellen had a theory that's why Devyn was doing it. She knew how uncomfortable it made her and this was her way of taking her out of her comfort zone.
"That's the truest thing you've ever said" Ellen muttered as Dev let go she couldn't help but to roll her eyes at her ruinning her room "Oh by all means make yourself at home" she sighed knowing she'd have to clear this all up

Devyn was very fond of giving her 'speal/rant'; as Ellen would put it, because she liked to remind the other girl that she cared a lot about her and that no matter what Ellen said she cared about Dev in return. Not in the way that she perhaps did when Devyn first met her and got her to see what it was like to be with a woman, but they were still close. At least Devyn liked to assume and still think that they were. It was why she kept in contact with the other girl and would get all needy when she felt like Ellen was losing touch with her. She was very loyal and didn't like the idea of losing someone that she had been close to for years.
Saying that she was not worried at all after the whole Ash event, would be a lie. It was not like she was worried about being replaced and it was more so feeling slightly threatened that someone else just popped up in Ellen's life and Ellen was all close to them. Of course Devyn didn't really know how close Ellen actually was to Ash, but had to be pretty close if Ellen was willing to let her sleep over without a fuss and told the girl to come to her in the past. "When do I ever really lie?" Devyn asked with a slight chuckle in response to Ellen's first comment.
As for leaving her scent on Ellen's thing, it was a thing she did with those she was close to. Perhaps she was being a bit messy with the knocking of things over, but it was yet again a reflection of her feeling like Ellen had not been giving her enough attention. "Why thank you, now please. Come join me." Devyn said after she was satisfied with rubbing on mostly everything and then proceed to do the same on Ellen's bed. She made herself nice and comfortable before she patted the spot next to her for Ellen to come sit down next to her.
"I wanna talk and I'll even play with your hair, just the way you like it." Devyn responded with a small smirk spreading across her lips. She knew what Ellen liked and saw no reason to not give Ellen what she liked when she was going to be hanging out with and bothering her in the middle of the night.
In some ways, Ellen hated Dev for that night. Ellen life was so simple before Dev and Ellen had that "Moment" and Ellen relieved that she was homosexual...and then things got VERY VERY complicated. If Dev just let her be that night she might not have had that "Awakening" and she wouldn't be so confused as she was now..
There was a bomb at the heart of Ellen Banks...and Dev set the timer.
Oh yes Ellen was very familiar with Dev "Scent" Dev just adored to spread it every single way. Not caring one way or the other how much effort it took for Ellen to scrub it out...it lingered in the air like a dog smell might.
Ellen tutted crossing her arms rolling her eyes as she made her way to the bed "Don't touch me..."She muttered, slapping Dev's hands away calmly "What are we talking about?"

Devyn never regretted giving Ellen what she wanted deep down but was in denial for the longest time. While she never felt that Ellen was straight up homosexual, she did know that the other girl was at the very least bi. It had been a thing for Devyn to just take girls there, to allow them to experience what it was like to make love to another woman. It was great, but of course making love to a man was pretty awesome as well. Dev was just happy that even after the event, they had managed to have their fun from time to time and when Ellen no longer wanted to, they just stopped but were able to remain friends.
Casual sex was sometimes great like that, but she most certainly enjoyed the relationship sex she had with Vera. Devyn didn't really get why Ellen would fuss about her scent. She never thought it was hard to get out because it was not like she had an incredibly strong scent to her unless you hung out with her a lot, then you would notice it. If anything, she was just leaving small traces of her, just enough that if someone did know her well enough they would pick up that she had been there. Perhaps that was why Ellen felt like it was a scent that she could never get out.
Ellen sat down, pushing Devyn's hand away, and all that did was to make Devyn move to basically tackle pounce on the other girl. Hoping to push the other girl to lie down on the bed and would snuggle her, making sure that Ellen was nice and close. Once Dev was comfortable; and was even nice enough to allow Ellen to get comfortable within her hold, and then she would move a hand to start playing with the other girl’s hair. Devyn wanted the physical attention and if Ellen was not going to give it to her fully, then she was going to have to play the 'system' a little bit.
"Oh you know general stuff. How I miss you, wondering how school is going, why you are so close to Ash, did you want to go catch movie sometime, marriage, what are you up to, and if you miss me." Devyn said, slipping two things in there that she really wanted to talk about as casual as possible. It was not easy for her to just come right out and say what she really wanted to talk about so mixing them in with other things worked out best. At least in her opinion it did.

-Sigh- Well, she should seen this coming...but then again if she did, would that change anything? Probably not. considering this was Dev she was talking about, The moment before Dev pounced on her she made eye contact with Dev and knew instinctively what about to happen
....Oh bother....
Ellen didn't fight against it when the actual pounce came, Ellen thought that Dev got a sick kind of thrill out of Ellen struggling in vain so Ellen refused to give her the satisfaction and just laid limp for a moment, as still as possible just frowning a little her discomfort about being clear
Ellen just kept quiet as possible hoping that eventually she got bored with holding her like this which was a vain hope,
Yeah, nice try Dev Ellen could see what she was trying a mile off and really Ellen was almost insulted she tried to pulled a fast one on her "I'm not in the least bit close to Ash and my relationship with her is clearly none of your business" Ellen was about to go into silence before it hit her exactly what Dev just said "Wait...marriage?!"

Devyn actually liked it when Ellen didn't put up a fight, because then it meant they could get right to the cuddling without all the effort. Plus it made Devyn feel a little better, like she was not forcing it too much and that Ellen actually enjoyed it. That was at least what she assuming right now and was enjoying it all. She was a very physical person; everyone that knew her knew that all too well. While she did like to be alone, when she was around someone she felt she had a bond with, she just wanted to be all over them and nice and close.
That was why she was always so psychical with Ellen, and while it was cute how Ellen would gripe; she enjoyed it more when Ellen just accepted it and stop fighting what she enjoyed too. Even if the other girl liked to deny it all the time. Devyn let out a low growl when Ellen was basically lying about her relationship with Ash. Dev never liked it when someone lied to her, especially when she was certain of something. "Don't lie to me, Ellen. We have known each other way to long for me to not be able to call bullshit on that. You don't have to tell me; even if you should because we are supposed to be friends, but don't lie to me about it." Devyn said as she would let go of Ellen.
She still remained close to the other girl and didn't move to sit up. If Ellen didn't want to talk about it, then Dev would do her best to not push. She just didn't want Elsa to lie about it to her of all people. She knew Ellen and also could not be fooled from what she saw with her own two eyes and even smelled on Ellen. The other girl might have been good at hiding things from other people, but Dev was the kind of person that hiding things from didn't work out very long. "I just want you to be aware that yes, I am jealous." Devyn pointed out.
Then Ellen had caught onto that other things that Dev thought she had managed to slip in their all smooth like, but apparently not. She was already giving a nervous chuckle as Ellen repeated the word. "Uh...yeah. Would you like to go to it? Well...like I'm kind of jumping the gun in inviting you but...well yeah if it happens can I count on you to be there?" Devyn asked as she sat up a little and started to mess with her hair a little.

Really? Was Devyn really that needy for attention?, to pin down Ellen for physical affection? Didn’t she have a girlfriend for this kind of thing? That she could hug at literally any moment she wanted? What on earth could she want from Ellen? A person that Devyn knew for the most part hated this kind of intimacy. maybe that was it. She just loved to watch Ellen squirm in place.
Honestly nothing would really surprise her when it came to Dev…
Ellen remained stiff at a board once Dev settled in on the hug hoping that eventually she’ll grow board of Ellen and stop pinning her down to the bed, She raised her eyes slightly in derision rolling her eyes “Oh great, she was rolling her eyes, what was it this time “Don’t growl at me if you don’t like the answers to my questions“ Ellen snapped out loud before raising an eyebrow once Dev pressed the subject, because of course she did. Because Devyn had no respect for any boundaries what so ever and Devyn knew this was a uncomfortable subject for Ellen. So what on earth was she trying to do? “My life is not a open book for you to reach whenever you feel like thank you very much” She said in a cool crisp tone.
The matter was now closed…
And no, she wasn’t going to address how Dev was envious, That was just her natual craving for attention.
Ellen snapped to attention once she was let go, putting together what exactly Dev was getting at “You and Vera…..Whe...How….When did you decide this?!

Devyn really did need attention. Not from the masses or from people that she didn't know, but when it came to people she cared about. To people that she viewed and thought were her friends, she wanted their attention. To know that they still cared about her, wanted her in their lives, and that she was not just going to be tossed aside. At time she always felt like friendship was the only way she was ever going to be love, but even those didn't always work out. This was why she was being extra needy with Ellen, the girl that she had been friends with for three years and now felt like she was losing her.
Of course she was going to act out in the form of trying to get some physical affection and closeness to her friend. Ellen might not have liked it, but Dev knew that deep down there was a part of Ellen that did actually enjoy it. Dev let out a displeased growl at the way Ellen had responded. She expected it but at the same time expected that Ellen would have been better at this by now. She was not going to stress it too much or else she was going to get frustrated and just leave. "But your life does involve me. You are my friend and I care about you. So of course I'm going to want to know what is up. It's not like you are a very good liar around me. You might be able to fool others, but I know you Ellen." Devyn pointed out.
She was going to leave the matter unless Ellen had more to say about it. She just really didn't like it when Ellen would put up such a fuss and act like she had everything in the world to hide. Dev knew a few of the others girl's secretes and that came from being around Ellen and just really getting to know the other girl. They had sex in the past and that was a big way Dev figured out a person. They might not have been having sex anymore, but that didn't mean that Dev just forgot about it all and what she figured out about the other girl. Then came the questions about her and Vera that had Dev scratching at her neck a little.
"Eh...a little while ago. Well...I didn't decide anything, just been thinking about it. With all of these things going on and how people tend to end up getting hurt or leaving me...I wanted something that would hopefully tie her to me more. So...I was thinking marriage." Devyn responded as she sat up and looked down at her hands, legs moving to site across one another. "I just...I'm tired of being hurt and I figure that if she married me...she might be less inclined to leave me...stupid, huh?" Devyn added, chuckling a little as she shook her head. It did sound stupid to her.
