^-^
I'm super awesome, mostly. was just thinking about you. Not in the weird or creepy way.
That was so a lie. Well at least she was not doing it a lot or doing it because she was trying to be a creep or anything like that. It was just something she could not help. Hell she pretty much thought that way about every girl she talked to. It was just happening a lot more with Alex because of reasons and things. Yeah, great explanation Erin.
I will.
Everything?
Damn, why did she have to remember everything? Well, it was not bad that she remember everything but perhaps that was why she had not seen much of the other girl. Was Alex avoiding her? The way her text read didn't seem like it but it was easy to type any message and really mean something else behind it.
So safe to assume that we are cool and everything? Like you don't think I'm weird do you?

Yes, I remember everything. Yes we're cool. No I don't think you're weird. If anything I should apologize. I never should have done that to you.
Just could you not mention anything to anyone? I haven't been able to bring myself to tell Art yet and he's not going to be happy. I messed up bad Erin and I pulled you into it.

She remembered everything, they were cool, she didn't think that Erin was weird, and that she should not have done that to her. So then, they were talking and thinking about the same thing right? Erin was still not sure because a lot had actually happened and she was not sure if Alex was apologizing for what Erin was mainly worried about the other girl remember. Crap, she needed to respond so Alex was not worried or anything like that.
Awesome, I would have been upset if we were not coolz and if you thought I was a werido.
No, you were fine. Perfect even, I didn't mind at all.
I actually enjoyed it a lot.
Not mention it to anyone? Well Erin figured as much, it had happened when they were less then sober so it would not have been right to count it. Plus even if Erin wanted to brag all about it, it was not something that she could just tell someone. Especial because Alex had a boyfriend and she didn't want to mess up what the two of them had going on. Okay, a small part of her did but that was because she had a crush on the other girl. She just had to remind herself that Alex was straight and that she was not skilled enough to flip the girl.
I won't say anything. Promise. Put all of my fav video games on the line.

Well, you ARE a weirdo, Erin. So am I. That's why I love you.
But really, I'm sorry. I don't regret it, mind you, but it was a mistake. I'm sorry to drag you into my crazy drama. You deserve better than that. I have to work tomorrow night, are you busy after? We could hang out or something.

Erin could not help but to smile at the next text, before she just blushed a little more, and moved to her bed. Alex loved her?! Okay, no she had to be taking this the wrong way. Alex was still happy with her boyfriend as far as Erin knew and the girl was so straight. This had to be that ;love; between friends or maybe even families. Shit, did I friend-zone or even family-zone myself by taking her on the trip with me and my dad! Erin thought to herself as she fell on her bed and slowly buried herself under the collection of plush Pokemon.
The Dynamic Duo! Weird Girl ! & Weird Girl 2!
That was literally all she could think of to respond back with, just wanting to be buried among her plush dolls forever. she still looked at her phone because even if she was feeling like an idiot for thinking the other way for a moment, she was still Alex's friend and they were talking.
It really is fine. My life would be uber dull without a little drama and I'm happy to deal with anything you throw at me. Were friends after all.
Ugh, it practically hurt to put that they were friends, but it was true. Erin didn't have any rregrets on it because at the end of the day she was happy to have Alex as a friend. Plus she already knew from the begining that Alex was stright and taken, but her daydreams and normal dreams still didn't want to listen and allowed her to live out her secerte fantasy that way.
I'm so free I'm like a bird. Bad joke. I would love to hang, just say when and where and I'll be there or you can come here.

Best. Comic book idea. Ever.
Yeah, I can see that. But I never want to be the one bringing in the drama, you know? Lately, though, it seems I can't get away from it. Thanks for being there for me, Erin. Really you have no idea how much it means to me.
I need to blow some stuff up. Want to meet up online and do some damage before getting together and doing... whatever we feel like? I don't have anything going on today either.

Lol, of course you would think that.
It was sweet that Alex didn’t want Erin to have to deal with her drama but it was not like Erin was really bothered by it. Now she was figuring out what specifically Alex was talking about and it just reminder her that she had some revenge to plan. That would be later, for now she was just focused on texting and burying herself among her plush Pokémon dolls. It did feel pretty awesome that Alex was so grateful to her, made her feel like she was actually making a difference in someone’s life.
I get what you mean but all the same I’m here for you and no need to even thank me, it’s what friends are supposed to do. Have each other back; beat anyone up giving them a problem, and take over the world together.
Oh yeah, for sure. Get the party started up and invite me. Then later we can…have some ice cream.
Erin texted back as she wiggled a hand free from being buried to grab her control and press the power button, bringing everything to life with that familiar beep sound. Yeah, ice cream is so the best plan Erin. Erin thought to herself sarcastically, but she didn’t really know what else to have in mind. Ice cream just sounded like the perfect thing to have during the summer.

If you haven't gotten tired of hearing me whine, I'll explain it later. It's all stupid and dumb. I shouldn't be bothered by it but what can you do?
Alex let out a low huff and rolled off her bed. She stifled a yawn and scratched lightly at her cheek as she crossed her bedroom to the desk where her rather impressive gaming rig (courtesy of Erin herself) sat. She was settling into her computer chair when her phone beeped again and she scooped it up and swiped at the screen. With a grin she tapped out a message before setting the phone down and replacing it with her controller.
I'm on it. Just accept my invite.
Alex pulled her legs up beneath her and spun her chair around to face the TV. Another yawn escaped and she stretched a little, her arms lifting over her head as everything loaded up. When the words 'KittyBunOverlord has logged in' flashed across the screen a thin smirked tugged at the corners of her lips. It was time to log in and forget any of her problems, if even for just a moment.

Always all ears but tell me when you are ready. No pressure or anything.
Erin was starting to wonder what could be bothering Alex and if she needed to get ready to hop on her computer and ruin someones credit, find out personal things about them, or drops some certain words and links to make the person be put on a watch list. The latter was a bit harder to do without having access to their computer but all Erin needed was time. With time, she was certain she could pull anything off and would if it was for the sake of Alex.
Alright. Done.
Erin said as she accepted the flashing message as soon as it popped up on her screen. She did have to sort of un-bury herself a little in order to be able to see her screen properly and to be able to pay at maximum skill level. Erin did not play a game with little care or casually. If she was going to game, she was going to give it her all and 'go hard' as some world say. Not like the rage hard, but the kind of hard where you actually tried to play the game at a pretty decent level of play skill. L33tHack showed up n Erin's screen, then Alex's adorable gamer name, it was so Alex. Erin then quickly sent another text as she got comfy.

Alex nodded to herself as she got the lobby started and sent the needed request. Her phone beeped and she picked it up. A thin smile touched her lips at Erin's proclamation of friendship and support. Then, she plucked her headset from its usual spot and and placed them over her head. She frowned, scrunched her nose, then pulled the padded headset off and removed the bright, pink bow that had been in her hair, tossed it over her shoulder, then pulled the tie that was keeping her thick, red tendrils in a tight tail and sent the rubber tie sailing across the room as well. Now was not the time for girly things. The headset found its way back onto her head and she steeled herself as the lobby counter flashed onscreen.
"You there, L33t?" She asked through the open lobby channel. "I'm kinda pissed and looking to blow something up."

Erin had to move a decent amount to get herself out of the mound of Pokémon plush dolls and once that was out of the way she had managed to grab her control, pop the game in, and got ready to have some fun with her friend. She didn't get a text back but when she saw the microphone icon light up next to Alex's name, she knew that meant yes. She had to quickly debate if she was going to use her old headset or bust out the new one she had brought back from her trip to Japan with said girl she was about to game with. Going with the old was the plan since it was quicker and Alex was asking her a question.
"Yeah, lets go wreck some noobs." Erin responded as she was so getting into her gamer mode. Oh they were certainly going to be blowing things up. They were certainly be going to be winning some matches and Erin was going to make sure that whatever was bothering Alex was fully released out on the poor players that were going to be on the opposing team. Even if they decided to do anything with NPC, it was just going to be a rough time for anyone who was not them.
