Apologies for not contacting any of you before now. As you know, there's been quite a bit going on lately. It seems as though our Festival was a resounding success. The Dating Auction alone brought several thousand dollars to charity organizations dealing with international mutant relations. Thanks to everyone who helped make that possible.
However, we do seem to have another interesting development on our hands. It appears as though a group has gathered on the edges of town. Thus far they've been harmless, but I believe they are worth looking into. I know it's something a bit beyond us, but we should still be ready just in case.
We're also going to need to get ready for the upcoming school year. Things will be progressing quite quickly. If anyone has any suggestions for events or other duties that we should be putting together for our latest, please let me know.
If there's any other business, feel free to respond to this email. It should copy to everyone involved. We've done bearable in the past: let's attempt to do better in the future.

Oh Good.. The Queen has seen fit to take a moment out of her busy schedule of dancing and getting up close with certain students to address her peers. Were honored.
I assume this is to with the recent infestation with irritating talkative hippies? You’ll forgive me if I don’t share your concern. We don’t need to keep an eye on them. We need to hand out, toothpaste and haircuts and maybe then they’ll start being a blight on us and actually get jobs.
We had to deal with a heavily armed brutal government agency and you’re worried about a few drum circles of ill educated slobs? Unless they’re hiding an army of mutant’s who can blow up the school through force of will or are planning to use their ultra powerful mind altering powers to get us all to join them I wouldn’t be worried.
I have no intention of sitting next to a campfire wearing a crown of flowers, holding hands with the rest of you and singing Khubaya
Hence why I’m staying away from them. And I suggest you do the same.
Rox. Call me when Elsa totally ignores my advice and ends up being kidnapped by them

Good to know the fair and dating auction did well enough. Still sort of glad I wasn't thrown to the dogs this year. Let's remember never to give Cox that kind of power again. As much as I hate to admit it, I actually agree with Banks in her earlier email. Though, I'm pretty sure they're not the only ones needing a haircut. Anyway, it's a bunch of hippies. They're usually about love, peace, and blowing trees, right? I highly doubt they're anything we need to be worrying about and especially with school being right around the corner.
Also if it helps you sleep at night, Elsa; Soon there will be new additions to the Security Squad and hopefully more college students wanting to intern with the staff but we'll see. Rox also has more information on how the process will go this year as well.
I'm not against checking out the Hippies Club either. You know, just to be sure.

Council Members,
It is good to hear that the auction went well this year. It is something we should keep around and perhaps one day include the adults. After all, we all will not be students forever and I'm certain there are people who would like to bid on all of you within the council.
Moving on; on the matter of our new guest. I'm in full agreement that it is best that we keep our distance for the time being. It's best to stay out of the way of a potential threat and figure them out before being too reckless and possibly causing a problem ourselves.
As Vera said, we will soon be putting up information for those who wish to try out for wither of the squads or if there will be any new interns to Security. Even still, I do not think that any of the squad members should participate in looking into this "hippie group" and should be left to those older.
I don't mind volunteer to check them out when the time comes, but I do agree with Elsa in that we need to focus on the new school year first and getting things settled. The school board may be in charge of the school overall but we do indeed have our own level of power.
Oh and will do Ellen, thought hopefully no one will just haphazardly approach our new guest until we can get a little more information on them and why they would pick such a place to stop.
I have nothing else to say on the matter except, apologies in advance if I "vanish" again for a time.
About the hippies, I understand the need to check them out. It’s more than just one or two people suddenly moving to town, it might be nice to know more. But growing any concern about them so far might be a little premature. It could be interesting to talk to them, just to make sure they are who they appear to be, but there is no point in being defensive just yet. Because if they really aren’t what they appear to be, it’ll just warn them. And if they are what we assume hippies to be like, they might not feel welcome and leave and if it helps any of us sleep better at night, I don’t think it would give a good image of us, both as mutants and human beings, if we begin to distrust every stranger coming close.
If they are just a bunch of nature lovers, they will appreciate talking to us and feeling welcomed here. If they don’t act like this, then there would still time to worry. But I don’t want the past, darker events that occurred in our school to affect any future relationship we may have with our neighbours. At least not in a negative way.
Anyway, I doubt we’ll be the only ones wondering who they are. You can be sure the people living in Kalispell will go and have a look as well. Unless they become a real threat to us, which I don’t say they will ever be, I say we can leave the town take care of them if there is any problem.

Since it appears as if everyone's in agreement regarding our visitors, I'll trust your judgment. I'm still wary, but as you all know, there may be some residual concern from our last visitors, given what they accomplished. I still would like to know more about them, but I see no reason we can't leave that for later.
Vera and Roxana, it appears as though you've a firm handle on getting our Security Squad back into full swing. I know there is some equipment that should be regulated for it, and let me know if we need to do anything else to spread word in that regard. I'd also appreciate if you'd spread word among the students involved with security to be on guard for the move-in day.
Meanwhile, Francois, Ellen, since you two are currently free, do you suppose you could head up move-in day? We're going to need to get things together for shifting dorm rooms for those last few students and mostly celebrating the new school year. I'm quite confident that the two of you can accomplish this task.
also, it may be best not to call me queen: I'd rather not make Frank Cox my enemy.
Always good to know that our last visitors still have the opportunity to poke out their ugly heads. Even if it doesn't have to do with us, that's always comforting to know.
The above was complete sarcasm, by the way. Let's just hope they don't gather more attention than a bunch of hippies need and as for the Security Squad; We'll send you a separate email of anything else we'll need to keep it rolling.
I also didn't want to say anything Ellen, but I can see your split ends a mile away. Not really the person to be giving advice. And maybe Elsa chose you two for it because she knows how good you are with telling people what to do without having to lift a finger. You should have a blast with move-in day.

To: Elsa Bellefonte You know Elsa that you can always count on me for anything. I won't mind helping with the move-in day at all. As for Ellen, I don't know which one of us you are trying to punish here the most. Don't try to tell me to force her to do it if she leaves, you know that I won't be able to (or even want to try).
To: Student Council Are we planning anything special to celebrate this new school year or a warm welcome to the new faces and helping out those moving is all there will be?

To et al:
Because, Ellen, we know we can trust you to make sure something gets done when it's assigned to you, if only because you're a Banks and determined not to mess anything up. Besides, this will be quite the easy way of your getting to meet several incoming students and perhaps socialize with those that you wouldn't otherwise be meeting. There's also the fact that Vera and Roxana are already busy dealing with security, and I'll be coordinating everyone's efforts and making certain that nothing goes wrong.
Also, Vera, Ellen, if you two could keep up at least a thin veneer of professionalism through these contacts, it would be appreciated.
To answer Franck's questions: I'm willing to put together something a little more substantial for this move-in day. We used to do a little more celebration; last year being what it was we didn't get what we've done in the past. I'm open to suggestions, and this is why I asked you (and Ellen, should she decide to lend her considerable help) to put something together this year.

It seems then that everything is in order in terms of our agreement and understanding what to do in terms of our new guest.
As for the Security Squad, Vera and I should be making an announcement soon on the matter and we will let you know of anything extra that we need, Elsa.
I'm not very well suited for the topic of what to do for the start of the new year so I will likely be remaining silent for the reminded of the discussion on that. If there is anything specifically needed in a field I'm more so suited towards, let me know. I will still be reading all of the emails that are sent between us.
