[Roxana Strix]

Roxana and Vera had talked a while ago about things that they needed to meet up with one another to talk about. Vera had some matter to take care of, so Rox agreed to handle her work for the time being and that they would meet up when Vera returned. Earlier on in the day when they were both working, Rox old Vera to meet her up in the North Wing later one. Vera had agreed and now Roxana was in one of the rooms that the security staffs were allowed to hang out in when they were off the clock. Rox had made sure that she and Vera would be the only ones in the room so they would not have to worry about being bothered by anyone.

"Sorry to pull you away on your free time." Roxana apologized as Vera entered the room. Roxana had just finished making a pot of coffee and gestured to it to see if Vera wanted any as she made some of her own. Normally Rox didn't like to eat or drink in the presence of other people, but she had made the drink herself so was not worried about it. Plus she and Vera were close…sort of. At least co-workers who had a few things in common. Rox was well aware that Vera had a girlfriend; that being Devyn Solway, who was also a part of the squad like them and who made a...interesting pair with Vera.

Not that it was any Rox's business but she could not help but to be a little curious. "I'll try to make this fast so you can get to your girlfriend or whatever it is that you had planned. You know she came up to me and voice that I better not work you too hard, as if I was your boss." Roxana said, a small chuckle left her lips at that. Vera and Roxana were basically on the same level in terms of their position over the squad and even on their internship, even if Roxana likely had more skills then Vera in their line of work, but she had that over most of the people they worked with.

The telekinetic finally made her way into the room around the time she agreed to meet up with Roxana in the security staff room. She figured the meetup was needed, seeing how they had more than enough that needed to be covered and it gave Vera time to get away from everyone else. Not to mention, she was pretty burnt out from the road trip and had to take care of everything she left behind. She was lucky to have Roxana agree to handle her work while she was gone. It only made catching up that much easier.

Vera placed her phone on the table nearest to Roxana, who seemed to have a fresh pot of coffee done. There was no way she'd deny the opportunity to crash from caffeine towards the middle of the day. She flashed a short lived smile towards Roxana. "No prob. Wouldn't call it free time anyway. Had way too much crap to catch up on." She moved over to the pot of coffee and poured herself a cup while deciding not to add anything else to it.

She was usually a cream and sugar type of girl but not today. She was okay with downing coffee as dark as Devyn's beast form. As she lifted the cup to her lips, she paused at the mention of her "girlfriend", the mixed girl turned to face Roxana with an amused smile. "Why am I not surprised." Devyn always had a knack for doing stuff like that. "Sorry... about that." Vera chuckled sheepishly before moving towards one of the chairs at the table while taking a sip. "Dev doesn't really enjoy the idea of me working hard. Not that we have any control over it."

Her hand patted against the table, "But seriously, take as long as you need. I can free up as much time as I want today. How has it been while I was gone?"

Roxana's eyes glanced over to Vera's phone a moment before they went back at looking at her partner. That was what the two of them were basically, they were both basically in charge of the younger squads and as interns they were often put to work together. Vera did have to potential to be a great officer in whatever field she decided to go into. Part of Roxana even wondered why Vera was not a target, but with how things had been going with her organization she would not have been surprised had she been told to drop all of her targets and pull out of BA. Part of her hoped things would not come to that, but she would follow orders.

"I'm sorry to hear that. At least you don't have too much work to deal with for this job. Just a few things that needed to be done by you and you alone." Roxana responded back as she watched every movement Vera made for a moment. She settled down after a moment, refocusing on what she needed and what she wanted to talk to Vera about. The need was a bit more important so she was going to start with that first and then ever so casually try to slip in what she wanted to talk about. Then again, this was Rox so being casual was not really her thing when she was so blunt.

Rox chuckled slightly at Vera's apology and explanation of her girlfriend. "It is alright, I know of her record and had to work with her a few times with alpha and beta squad related...things." Roxana assured Vera that it was fine. Roxana had actually talked to Devyn before...or more so listened while Devyn told her things about Ellen and Vera, wanting to make sure that Rox was not doing anything to hurt them and looking out for them when Dev was not around. She would not say she and Devyn were friends, but they had an understanding between the two of them.

"Thank you, this should not take too long." Roxana said, then took a sip of her coffee before going on. "Things have been fine, nothing too eventful...well not eventful in the ways that would be of concern to you or me." Roxana said, in her simple and blunt manner as usual. "I mainly wanted to get together to go over the list of both the alpha and beta squad and take a look at those who want to be interns or join the squad. Which means we might want to hold another tryout session." Roxana said, reaching into her bag and pulling out the papers and placing them on the desk for Vera to look over with her. The papers were all about the current members of the two squads with the other pile being potential candidates that had expressed interest or their powers made them idea for it.

Her and her alone, which sounded like work. Work and then more work. "You sure know how to make a girl feel special..." Sometimes it was just hard to get back into the swing of things when you took a break to yourself and a loved one. A part of her wanted to be lazy and then the other part wanted to shift back into high gear. Either way, Rox managed to cover her slack while she was gone and Vera would do her best to help with whatever was needed of her.

The telekinetic wasn't exactly sure how to take Rox knowing of Devyn's "record". Like, was that a good thing or a bad thing? Before they dated, she knew Devyn had some sort of obsession with having to go through detention and unneeded attention from other staff. So Vera was just hoping it was a good thing, because now that they were together; Vera would try her hardest to make sure her girlfriend appeared on not one list of probation or detention. Even if she had to pull some strings.

"Good-" She liked eventful, as well as eventful in the ways that they wouldn't have to worry about. But then she listened as her eyes followed the papers that were set out on the desk. She scooted her seat closer to them and quickly skimmed through the papers with one hand, as the other moved the coffee towards her lips. Vera gave a slight nod, "Right... the list, which I totally almost forgot about." She pressed her lips together, "As dreadful as tryouts are, I'm just fine with doing another session before the school year starts."

Vera looked at the list of current squad members before looking up to Roxana. Who clearly had everything ready right here on the desk. "To think we're about to start our sophomore year as college students. Hopefully we get at least one or two more interns; at least." Sometimes she wondered what that cat did during his free time. "If I ever plan on being apart of the KPD after graduation, I'm gonna have to attend their police academy soon." After a sigh and a roll of the eyes, she took another sip. "Which means I'll have even more on my plate and I'm sure we could use even more coverage, right?"

"...sarcasm?" Roxana asked after hesitating a moment after Vera spoke of how she knew how to make a girl feel special. Roxana didn't see anything that she did making someone feel special, she simply was returning the favor that Vera had done for her and they were...friends, right? Or something like that, Roxana honestly didn't know. She still had a hard time labeling anything she had with the few people that she socialized with, even Luxanna who she had been mostly going with viewing as like a younger sister at times. AS for when it came to Devyn's record, it was both a good and bad things but not something that Roxana was overly worried about.

Vera's girlfriend had killed and clearly had what it take to be useful, even if there were parts to her that were unable. The same went for Vera, but they were both useful and it was why they were on the squad. Devyn Solway was not a security intern likely because she didn't want to be or the school was still uncertain about if she would be friend or foe the whole time. Rox could certainly see what would draw them to one to one another, even if she didn't understand the deep meaning behind it, but was not of her concern to. At least, not fully. "It's alright, there had been a lot to deal with much of the roster having changed." Roxana responded as she took a small sip at her drink, letting Vera look over the papers for a moment.

"Perfect. I actually had several ideas to make it a little easier on us since we do have our own lives to deal with. I was thinking that those not already on the squad could send in a tryout video, showing off their power in the training rooms or areas. We even could have the current members do it as well, just to see that they are in fact keeping up with their training and make sure they still have an interest." Roxana said, tossing out the main idea she had that she felt was the best and didn't see the point in saying all of them. Then Vera was getting...sentimental? Talking about how they were going to be Sophomores in college.

Yes, they were both in the same grade and had most of their classes together other than the art ones that Rox took. Rox just gave a small nod as she took another drink at Vera's comment about wanting more interns. Honestly, Rox was fine it just being the two of them but was not bothered by the idea of there being others; would lessen the work load. "True, but I would not worry about it too much. I'm sure you will be able to handle it all and I'm your partner so...you can count on my help." Roxana said, hesitating for a moment as she glanced away for a moment before looking back to Vera.

"Do you mind if I ask you something?" Roxana then asked, looking at her coffee as she asked it. "It's a bit on the personal side." Roxana added after a small pause, followed by her taking another sip of her coffee.

Vera paused, only wondering if Rox had been joking or if she was serious. Sometimes Vera had to remember that her partner was a bit more on the literal side than your usual young adult. "Yes, Rox," She nodded while letting out a short chuckle, "That was sarcasm." Out of all of the people she considered friends, Rox had probably been the most uptight one (above Elsa and Ellen). Which wasn't a complaint really, she wouldn't know how to handle Roxana with a goofy side. Talk about a parallel universe.

"Yeah..." She sighed in response to the roster changes Rox mentioned. Vera could remember all of the names last year by heart. Riley being one of them, which kind of made her glad he hadn't chosen to stay. As selfish as that may have sounded.

Vera broke out of her own thoughts as she looked at Rox, "Oh," She thought about how much easier it would have been for the both of them. "That is actually a really good idea, Rox. Seriously. I'm totally onboard if we choose to go that route. And who doesn't love to show off their powers right? Won't have to worry about all eyes being on them." She nodded while taking another sip. A smile slipped back on her face as her eyes stayed on Roxana. "Thanks." It always felt nice to be able to depend on someone, seeing how Rox could always depend on her for anything.

Her brows narrowed a bit, wondering what was a up. "Uh yeah, sure... What's up?" She found herself sitting up a bit, placing her cup on the table as she wondered exactly what it was that Rox wanted to speak on. It was just weird. Her and Rox had never discussed anything really personal. Sure, they were partners and they worked together, they even trained and worked out together at times but they never spoke on that level. Hopefully everything was alright.

There was a small chuckle along with a response that she was being sarcastic, which had Roxana giving a small nod in response. Okay, so she had made the right guess in that moment, perhaps she would be able to get this sort of things soon. It was just difficult at times to deal with people saying one thing and meaning another thing in this sort of situation. Roxana understood the game of deception but didn't see the point of it or more so didn't understand it in this kind of situation. She normally got sarcasm when it was blatant things that she knew were not true when someone was saying them and it was often used to insult her.

Vera never really came off like she meant to in any mean way; thankfully, so Rox did not think of her in that light. There was something there; the way Vera said 'yeah' that had Roxana looking at the girl in a certain way. She had several guess as to why Vera had responded to the list in such a manner, but she was not going to say anything about it. She would get her confirmation on what she thought was the likely cause in a moment or two depending on how Vera decided to answer the questions Roxana had. For now it was business, which Vera actually agreed with Roxana's idea that would make it a lot easier on them. "Thank you. I thought it would work best given how we are busy of late and how when we tried one on one tryouts last time some people didn't show or the ones that were helping us with them didn't do their end of the deal." Roxana said as she circled the idea down on the piece of paper where she had written it and the few others.

It really would work best and that way no one could have an excuse as to why they did not show up. All they had to do was set aside some time to show off their power while recording it and just make sure to send it in on time. "I'll talk to it with the one in charge of us and we will likely put up an announcement in the coming weeks. Will be ideal to do it before the next school terms starts up." Roxana added as she gathered up some of the papers and put them away. The business was done so now they could talk about the other things Rox wanted to discusses. She didn't even know if Vera was the right person to talk to this about but she had a very limited amount of people she could talk two. Two of which were what this was all about so it didn't seem like she could actually talk to them about it. Vera was hesitant; which Rox could understand why, but Vera agreed so Rox went right into it.

"You and Devyn care about one another very much. You two are in a relationship and often spend nights in one another's room. So my first question would be..." Roxana voice trailed off for a moment as she glanced away to think of how she wanted to say this. "How did you know that you liked her that way? That you wanted to be in a relationship with her and that it was worth the risk that comes along with being with someone?" Roxana added, feeling that was the best way to ask it.

She nodded in response to Rox, which Vera didn't really think a 'thank you' was needed. If she was going to be honest, Rox seemed to know how to plan things way better than Vera. It always made it seem as if Rox had done this kind of thing before, while Vera was still going off of her judgement (which wasn't always the best idea) and natural instincts. It made her glad that they were kind of partnered up together. She didn't mind going to Head of Security, just as long as it wasn't that cat. Whom, to this day, Vera questioned even more after that whole DL/Humphries meeting.

As usual, she was kind of excited to see the new and familiar faces they'd be able to bring together for the Squad. They would be the group of students who would be trained and looked upon when it came to the safety of their fellow students and as well as their own. Vera gave yet another nod, "Sounds good. " She added a sigh, "I'm so not looking forward to getting back into classes... and especially those uniforms..." Now she was just complaining.

Now as for what Roxana wanted to speak on, the fact that she brought up her and Devyn kind of took Vera off guard and not necessarily in a bad way. Vera was kind of private when it came to the intimate details of her and Devyn's relationship. It was still fairly new and she didn't want anyone in their business but those they let in, but Rox so happened to be one of her "closest friends" as of late. So she trusted her with information on whatever was going on with her. Vera liked to believe that Rox always had a reason for everything that she did and asked.

"Uh, well..." Vera chuckled as she furrowed her brows a bit trying to think. "To be honest I was sexually attracted to her since the moment we met. Like around the time when I wasn't aiming to be attached to anyone romantically and especially not to someone in a relationship. I just wanted to have fun and be myself and she let me." A hand reached to push a few strands of her hair behind her ears. "I guess it wasn't until later we became best friends, and that I noticed that she could affect me in an emotional way when we got into a bad situation, and I started avoiding her... and realized I felt something for her, beyond just having fun but never really spoke on it until recent."

She tilted her head to the side a bit trying to figure out a better way to explain it, "I guess something just told me that I couldn't keep hiding my true feelings for her because if I did, I'd lose her to someone else and feel like a complete jealous sack of shit. That or I could gain this relationship with someone special and possibly lose my best friend in the long run." Vera shook her head as her hazel eyes stayed on Roxana, "You will never know if it's worth the risk until you do it. Which is why I always say, fuck risks. Just do what you want, dude. Do what you feel is right, you know?"

The telekinetic cracked a smirk as she gave Roxana that "look", "Why exactly did you want to know?"

Vera would be surprised if she knew Roxana's secrete, but only a handful of people knew; two actually. Rox did feel like she would end up telling Vera eventually, just as soon as she could gauge if this girl could handle such knowledge and what she would do with it. Worse case it would be easy enough to 'twist' Vera's arm to make sure the girl knew that it would have been very foolish to tell anyone about the truth behind Roxana Strix being here. Not that the truth would matter much longer with how things were going on within her organization.

She honestly didn't even know if she would be at Ba for much longer but she was still going about her days as if she was to keep things...normal. "I'm sure you will be fine and we do have a separate uniform we can wear from the students since we are security interns, but it does not give you the at least few options the school does with the regular student uniform." Roxana responded back. She didn't mind the school uniform, she had to wear one back at her old school and worse case she could wear the security outfit, it was comfortable in a way. Rox didn't mind Vera complaining, if anything she liked it when people did the talking and she was the one listening; like right now.

Rox was listening to every word and watching every movement Vera made as she went on to explain her relationship with Devyn; or at least the feelings behind it. Roxana was actually happy that Vera seemed okay telling her such things, but she figure they had worked together long enough that Vera knew that Roxana was not going to go gossiping about it. Sexual attraction, being best friends, being effected by emotionally, and an inner feeling about not being able to keep it to herself. The possibility of being jealous, the risk of losing a friend, but the possibility of gaining something special with her. Roxana didn't respond in anyway, but was clearly looking and listening to Vera the whole time.

Her mind busy trying to explain how she felt and if she had been wrong about any of it since things didn't happen or feel that way completely for her. Roxana did nod her head in agreement with Vera's comment about taking the risk, because that was how she saw the situation and why she did what she did in the first place. Roxana just blinked a few times at the 'just do what you feel is right', that came out in a question but Roxana was not sure if it was rhetorical or not. She also didn't know what was right, what was right were following her orders and she was not doing that. Then there was a smirk, tagged along with a look, and soon a question.

Roxana figured it would probably be best to be straight forward instead of playing the games that she dreaded people playing. "I trust you already know that this stays between me and you by the location I have chosen and because of the topic, so I'll get right to it." Roxana said, taking a moment to sip her coffee before she leaned back a little in her chair. "I have feelings for Elsa Bellefonte and Ellen Banks. Feelings past friendship...I think. Anyways, it had been bothering me for a while so I confronted them about it and it went as expected but nothing has changed for me and I'm trying to understand if perhaps I'm mistaken about the feeling so wanted someone with experience to provide me an example to compare it to." Roxana said, blunt as usual and very 'to the fact' about it all.

"Really?" She sat back in her seat, brows lifted slightly. "Well that's good to know and here I thought I'd have to be haunted by the uniforms for the rest of my life. You don't know how hard it is to decide if you wanted to look like a total uppity butch, or a school girl who's never had a father figure in her life." She slightly scrunched her face as she took another sip of her coffee. Despite Vera's need to sweat in everything that she did, when she wasn't pushing herself, she actually enjoyed looking good and had pride in her wardrobe.

This whole... thing was really unlike Roxana. Sure, Vera had her share of relationships and girl talks but never with Roxana involved, and never with Rox asking her about it. Then she requested to keep it between them and Vera already knew the rules and regulation of these "talks". So she simply nodded, "It won't leave this table."

Then Vera wished it hadn't even left Roxana's mouth.

She choked, sure that the coffee went down the wrong hole. Nodding as Roxana spoke, she tried to keep it together and clear her throat, which was harder to do. Oh god. "Uh... not that I'm questioning your taste or anything but," She licked her lips as her head tilted, trying to see if she heard right. "Did you just fucking say Elsa and Ellen? Seriously?" Okay so maybe she was questioning her taste. Both Elsa and Ellen were good looking, sure but Elsa has this emotionally unattainable thing going on for her (which was probably perfect for Rox) and... well, Ellen was a total and complete self absorbed bitch who probably wiped her tears with twenty dollar bills every fucking day.

Not just one, or the other... but both? Not to mention Vera had to act like she never had some sort of feelings for Elsa right about now. Vera took a deep breath, "Wow..." She mumbled under her breath while taking another sip. "Last thing you want to do is compare anyone's experience to your own. I mean, I don't know - Shit happens differently for different people. Maybe it's not something that's mistaken..."

Wait. How long had she been into girls? Heck, how long had Roxana been into people?

"Well, it's the security uniform so it does not really...scream fashion. But if you are tired of wearing the different limited choice of outfit styles the school provides for uniform, you can always walk around in your security uniform. Doubt you would get in trouble for wearing it since we do technology work pretty much every day." Roxana pointed out. She personally had no problem wearing what the school wanted her to wear or the security uniform. It was all still uniform and it seemed that only on weekends, breaks, and if they were off campus could they dress as they please. In those cases, she would dress as she pleased because she did like to get a little creative when it came to her wardrobe, it was another way she could let out her artistic side.

Vera at least still listened to all that Roxana had to say on the problem that she was having. She really didn't get it and by what Vera had told her she felt like it could be along similar feelings but she was not sure. All she was sure of was that her feelings were not exactly returned, but that was something that she had expected right off the bat. She had wanted to tell them in a hope of hearing the rejection would make the feelings go away, but they had not. Rox's hand flinched slightly when Vera started to choke, but seeing as the girl was coughing and managing to end up speaking she didn't do anything. The worst thing you could do was help someone who was coughing because their body was doing its own job of trying to clear their throat. If you got involved you could very well make it worse.

"Yes, I did. Elsa and Ellen, I feel a sense of attraction towards them both. Even to the extent that I think I would want to have coitus with them, as you spoke of when it came to your feelings for Devyn." Roxana said, in an all very nonchalant way. They were talking about it and Vera was not going to go spreading it around so she didn't feel the need to sugar coat anything, she rarely did. She had expected Vera to be a little shocked over the matter, since Rox was very aware of Vera's relationship with both of the girls she named. It was her job to know, so even if Vera didn't know that Roxana knew that Vera didn't really like Ellen and had a thing for Elsa; that didn't matter. "So...what you are saying is you are not sure if I actually do like them or not?" Roxana asked, a hint of confusion in her voice.

She glanced away for a moment, thinking if perhaps she gave Vera more information that would help. "In truth, I probably would feel the same way about you. I get the same vibe from you that I do for them. Strong, knows what you want, a power that can do some damage, but there is still something soft within you. Perhaps because I have not seen that soft side to you is why I don't feel the way I do about Elsa and Ellen towards you." Roxana explained, giving a small nod. She was sure that had to be the reason because she had to admit that she had similar feelings towards Vera that she did originally when dealing with Ellen and Elsa long before she actually started to want to...kiss them?

It was odd. She knew it had nothing to do with their genders, but who they were as a person. She was attracted to certain things about them, things that she had pretty much just told Vera. Not many people dealt with her and the ones that did were girls, who must have been the only ones that didn't feel completely threaten by her and that was perhaps why at this moment it only seemed like she liked girls but she was certain that was not the case.

She nodded, "Right. Well thank you, at least now I have another option in my limited look of the day during school hours." Before the uniforms were implemented, Vera was very particular about what she wore. She took her wardrobe very seriously when it came to dressing how she wanted. Everyone expected her to look sexy no matter what she was in and she did, just not for them but for her because you know; Who really cared about what everyone else wanted?

Coitus? What the fuck did that mea- Oohhhhh. Oh my god. Vera looked at Rox, still trying to grasp the concept of this whole... thing. "So you're telling me you'd be down to fucking either one of them? I mean yeah, sure; That's totally - I can see that. I just, you know - It's just difficult for me to grasp on to." She lifted a hand, "Oh, no no. I'm more than sure that you like them. I don't see how you wouldn't know. I mean, you seem pretty sure of yourself."

She crossed her legs, trying to figure out a better way to explain what she meant. "I just think that maybe Ellen can't see how good of a fit you are for her with all of her pride shoved up her ass. And maybe Elsa just has so much on her plate... you know - with Felix? I think all si-"

Then Rox kind of dropped a bomb, which wasn't a very huge bomb but big enough to stop Vera in mid sentence. "Wait, what?" Was that her way of saying she had taken a liking to her? Vera started laughing, only because she didn't really know what to say. She couldn't be serious right? "Soft? Within me?" She continued to laugh. Yeah, sure, Vera was squishy as hell despite what she liked to show everyone else but still, only Riley and Devyn had truly seen that side of her. She calmed down for now, "Trust me chica, you should be glad you haven't seen that side of me. Despite the rumors, I'm a very emotional telekinetic. You don't want these problems." Heck, she still wondered how Devyn managed to deal with her to this day.

Vera put it on the table, "Look Rox, you are one badass bitch. Seriously. You're really hot, you're committed to what you do. You tell it like it is. You're a great friend and you kick ass. So I'm sure if they don't see that, then shame on them. I'd say at least give it time. You already told them, right? Can't do much now..."

Roxana just nodded in response to Vera's thanks for letting her know about their other outfit choice for what they could wear. She didn't feel like there was any need to say anymore on the matter, since all that needed to be said was said. She didn't even see the need for Vera to thank her but she took it and moved on with their conversation. To the other topic that she wanted to talk about but was still uncertain about it all. It was very hard for someone who never experienced this actual feeling before to feel it now and try and understand it all. She had done a lot of thinking on it but she still was not very confident that she actually got it, despite how she behaved.

It was clear that Vera didn't fully catch on what coitus meant, but before Roxana could explain Vera seemed to recall the meaning and certainly seem shocked by it. Roxana still didn't react in any particular way, just looking at Vera, and allowing the other girl to finish what she was saying. There was a question there, along with some level of confusion on why Roxana would want to sleep with Ellen or Elsa. It was not like she really really wanted to, but she had thought about it and felt like she would not mind doing such an act with them by her own choice and not on some orders or because they needed a need satisfied.

"I don't know if I would actually be able to be intimate with them in such a way since it would be my first time doing it where...it matter to me. I think that is the right way to say it." Roxana answered, but there was more Vera had to say so she fell silent again and waited. Vera pointed out that Roxana seemed pretty sure of herself, but Roxana simply shook her head no in response to that. She was still not sure of herself, at all. She knew she cared about Elsa and Ellen in a way she had never cared about anyone else in, but was that 'love' or actually 'liking them in that way'? "I'm actually not certain at all, but I did tell them what I assume is the most accurate statement of how I feel about them." Roxana responded.

It was interesting to see how Vera was taking all of this and how she at least was trying to talk to Rox about it, even if it didn’t seem like a topic Vera had been prepared to talk about with Rox. Would anyone have ever been prepared to talk about such a thing with her? There was more that Vera was saying, pointing out why Ellen and Elsa probably didn't see her in that light for their own reasons before cutting off at no doubt at what Rox pointed out about Vera. She didn't answer at first, allowing Vera to take it in and thinking about it to figure out what Rox was saying to her. Rox simply nodded at the next question. Yes, there was something soft with Vera. A part of her that was hurting and wanted to be taken care of. It was very clear for Roxana to see since it was something she was used to seeing in certain kinds of people.

The only thing different with Vera was she had not seen it on the outside as she had seen it with Ellen and Elsa. "I would not mind seeing them. We are partners after all." Roxana simply responded but left it at that. She understood that Vera would not want to show such a side to just anyone, that went the same with Ellen and Elsa. It was why she had pointed out to Vera that she would have likely felt the same way about her had seen that soft side on the outside as well. Then there were complements, words of praise in other words. Roxana would never admit it, but words of praise always felt far better than the usual put downs that she got. It made her actually smile a little as she glanced away for a moment.

"Thank you for the...kind words. As for Ellen and Elsa, I'm not expecting them to return the feelings. I doubt things would be an easy ride for them considering how I am and my family. I just felt like they should know but...it still eats at me. I'm bothered by something and I don't know what it is. Jealously?" Roxana asked as she looked to Vera, expecting the girl to know or have a good guess.

Vera took a second, taking in what Roxana was saying and found herself in awe, yet again. "I understand we're getting into some deep technical shit here but I feel like you're trying to tell me that you're used to having sex without emotions involved." Which Vera couldn't have been too surprised about. The first time her and Rox had spoken to each other after SPECTRE, Vera made it clear that she thought Roxana was emotionless. Which wasn't the case now but maybe it still had some kind of truth to it? She shrugged, "You can't get more accurate than that, Rox."

She wanted to tell her that it was way simpler than it was but that wasn't always the case. Usually when you liked someone, you told them and if they liked you too then things could develop from there. But if she had already told Ellen and Elsa everything that they needed to know, what else could she do? Sometimes having crushes was just a pain.

Her hazel eyes stayed on Rox as she found herself smiling slightly. It was enough to make her blush from how honest it sounded but Vera knew it wasn't that easy to just do. She couldn't just up and open that side of her to anyone even if she wanted to. It just didn't work like that. Maybe one day.

She nodded when Roxana thanked her. "Jealousy?" Vera thought about it while shifting in her seat somewhat. "As weird as it is for me to consider you someone who could even get jealous, I could see that." Vera shrugged, "I mean, it's easy to get jealous. You want something you can't have and see someone else with it - bam, you become jealous. Or if you're as bad as me, you see someone just smiling or flirting with someone you can become jealous. Jealousy can even rear it's ugly head for small things." Vera had always been a jealous kind of girlfriend and while Devyn hadn't seen the worst of it, the moment Vera saw another girl even smile or look at her girlfriend in a way that wasn't acceptable by her; Vera got jealous and pretty bitchy for the next hour or so. "Wouldn't worry too much about it. I think it shows that you care."

Deep technical shit...well that could be words to describe it. Roxana felt it was a little less technical and more so emotionally confusing. Or would emotionally conflict be a better choice of words? She was not certain but all the same she listened to what Vera had to say and gave a small nod to confirm what Vera was saying about having sex without emotions involved. It was really the only way Roxana knew how to have sex. She did it for orders or because someone really wanted it from her and she did not mind giving it to them. It was logical; doing what had the greatest effect on the person, and getting the job done. Simple as that.

Vera said she could not get more accurate than that, so Roxana took her words for it and yet again just gave a small nod for her response. She was not really much of a talker, especially when she didn't feel the need to go on and one about something. This was mainly to get feedback from someone who did have a sort of relationship with both parties involved and had her own 'serious' relationship. Vera was the most logical choice to talk about this considering that her first choice was one of the very people that were making Rox feel the way she did now.

Roxana got that you could not make someone like you, that had happened to her before. At her old school where someone liked her but she did not feel that way about them. Roxana was not making a lot of eye contact with Vera by this point since she often glanced off when she was thinking. Rox was doing a lot of thinking, so that meant she was doing a lot of glancing off to the side. She did catch that Vera was smiling a little and was the other girl blushing too? Odd. Roxana was about to ask about it but Vera's question about Roxana unsure if she was jealous or not took her attention first.

She listened as Vera went to explain it, trying to understand it and if she honestly felt that why. If she did, why? It made sense the way Vera describes it, but she didn't understand the need for such an emotion. "I don't like it. It makes me feel...off. So many...feelings. I want to hurt certain people, I'm angry, sad, confused, and it all makes me sick." Roxana said as the mug she was holding quickly got completely covered in crystals.
