Out of all the people Eve could have gotten paired with during a training session, she had to get paired with this lanky looking teen she'd more likely want to see at the bottom of a staircase, preferably huddled up in some kind of painful position and preferably with every bone in her body broken to pieces.
Sadly, Evelyn wasn't quite that lucky.
Instead, here she was. Stuck.
Now, Evelyn didn't have anything personally against the girl. She hadn't done anything towards her. No, Evelyn simply felt indifferent to most people, and this girl was no exception. Being indifferent also meant that Evelyn hardly cared. And hardly caring meant that you found some kind of amusement in seeing people in pain.
Alright, so maybe she was being a tad overdramatic.
"Let's just get this over with," she sighed as she stepped out onto the floor.

She felt like planting the palm of her hand against her face and drag it down until she was no more.
"No," she replied dryly. "No, we cannot, and no, it's not." Though, she wasn't about to complain if this session wouldn't happen. Of course, it would annoy her that her time was wasted, but she'd survive.
Taking a few steps to the side, Evelyn ran her hands through her hair, brushing it away from her face. "As for what we're supposed to do, I assume you can use your mind to figure that one out, though, if you cannot, we're supposed to train our powers," she said, as if she honestly believed the girl had no clue.

"Rhetorical question but okay." Addison raised her eyebrows and held her hands up in defeat. The girl was not to be trifled with, Addison was scared.
Ooh.
"Oh no...brain...malfunctioning. Don't. Know. What. Mind. Is. For. Terminate. Terminate." She slowly hit her head a few times in her attempt to be sarcastic.
She rolled her eyes and looked at the girl. "What's the purpose of putting two people who have no power relations whatsoever together? Especially when they're both clearly bad bitches in their own respect? They're not afraid this place would blow up?" Addison asked as she scuffed her shoes against the ground.

Staring at the girl with her usually stoic expression, Eve's lips pressed tightly together. Out of all the people she could have gotten paired with, she had to get paired with this one?
Clearly, Evelyn needed to talk to the school administration to see if she could solve this issue for the future.
"I was wondering about the same thing," she replied as she looked around. She purposely ignored the last part - not because she didn't agree; after all, Eve was a bitch and she saw no point in agreeing or pointing it out.

"Can't you do anything about it? Don't you have pull over this sort of thing?" Addison asked. She would have said something more about her being wealthy but she knew that wouldn't make the situation any better.
Although she couldn't actually see it getting any worst.
"Clearly." Addison repeated before turning to the girl and quirked and eyebrow. "You want me to make your blood dance?"

Staring at the girl, Evelyn's brow quirked. Clearly, this girl mistook her for someone else, right? She didn't honestly-- She wasn't even going to bother. "Can't you?" she returned dryly.
It took a great deal of effort for Evelyn not to roll her eyes. Why was it that she somehow, always got paired with the annoying pests?

With a glazed expression, Evelyn simply stared at the girl, offering her nothing. Not even as much as a single word. She didn't see the point.
"No," she replied, her voice cool as she offered the girl an almost disinterested gaze. Clearly, this girl didn't take the hint. What part of Evelyn made her think she was interested?
"Though, I'm sure," she began, clearing her throat. "That some of these other students-" she gestured around the room. "-would be more than happy to be bothered instead."

Addison rolled her eyes at the prissy princess' repeated rejection. The singer could not be bothered anymore. If the girl didn't want to practice their abilities on each other, Addison wasn't going to force it.
"Sorry your majesty, didn't think I was being a bother. What with this being a training session and all." Addison did a little curtsy before plopping on to the nearest surface.
"So this is what you do for a living? Being a grade A bitch and refusing to associate with us common folk?"

Evelyn's eyebrows rose in bitter amusement at the words the girl uttered - especially the so-called nickname. "Glad to know it has been cleared up then," she replied dryly. Well, she supposed she could admire the sarcasm the girl was capable of dishing out.
"Pretty much," she replied as dryly as before. The corner of her lips did however twitch slightly into a ghost of a smile.
It was rather amusing how people kept pointing out that she was a bitch as if she wasn't self-aware enough to already know. Ah well.

The brunette held two thumbs up most passive agressively, adding a tight close lipped smile for effect that she dropped soon after. "Glad we're on the same page then." Addison sighed as she started playing with the ends of her hair.
"And why is that?" She asked, curiosity getting the best of the singer. "Is it because it's a bother letting people like you or you were just brought up with too much love from mommy and daddy warbucks?"

Evelyn was tempted to groan and roll her eyes. Of course, she didn't, but the temptation nagged at her. Clearly, this girl didn't know when to stop bothering others and her curious question was an annoyance.
"Does it matter?" she asked, staring at the other girl. "You know, curiosity killed the cat, though in your case, there'll likely be less killing. Maybe." She let her brown eyes sweep over the room for a moment.
"I don't need a reason to be a bitch. There doesn't have to be anything more to in than that," she shrugged.

The quiet threat brought a small smirk to Addison's face. It always gave her some sort of thrill to get people riled up enough that they said things they usually wouldn't in any other circumstance. Especially when the person in question was someone like Evelyn Conner. It certainly didn't make her feel bad.
"You're scary." Addison said, lightly placing the tips of her fingers against her lips. "I almost soiled my pants." Her shoulders rose gleefully as she mocked a giggle and a huge grin behind her hand.
Her lips forming an O, Addison nodded as though she now understood everything. "Right. So you're one of those rebels without a cause. Gotcha. I mean I get it. Having people scared of you and shying away from you must have some form of thrill right? Gets your juices flowing at night. Make your ice cold heart warm for the winter."

"Mmhm," she replied simply. Out of all the people she had to get paired with, this was what she got? Clearly, Evelyn needed to talk to her trainer, because this was a huge waste of her time. There was nothing productive to gleam from this.
The girl continued then and Evelyn shot her a dry look. "It's not about scaring people," she began, lips pursing. "It's a matter of not caring and being indifferent." She nodded towards the girl, as if to further her example. After all, Evelyn didn't care about people fearing her. She didn't care what they thought of her. She simply wanted them to leave her alone.
