She couldnt help but laugh. They had told her what number her room was, but of course they didnt show her to her room. How did they expect her to find her room without sight. She clinked along the hallds, her hand outstretched and fumbling with the number on one of the doors. Her face was screwed with concentration as she tried to feel what the number was. Beside her, her beast of a newfoundland was sitting patiently, looking at his owner. "Ah come on you idiot" Lesy muttered under her breath.
Wandering the hallways was common for Aehyun, since he usually forgot his own dorm room within about thirty seconds of leaving it. However, it had become habit by now, and he actually found himself enjoying the time spent wandering aimlessly on occasion. You'd at least run into a person or two who could usually redirect you, on the occasions that he remembered his roommates names as well. (Generally rarely.)
His wanderings today had brought him into the sight of someone he hadn't seen before. The way she was manhandling that door made him wonder if she had some sort of weird wood fetish, but the sight of the dog was enough to tell him otherwise. Not to mention the whole, uh, missing leg fandango.
All the same, this was Aehyun's time to be a hero! Normally he'd just leave people hanging, but this would not only make him look good but give him an excuse to not be studying right then. Jogging down the hall towards the girl, he practiced his stoic face, just for good measure.
"Yo, yo, yo," he said once he'd reached her, leaning against the wall and casually turning his forwards-facing hat back though she obviously wouldn't be able to see. "You lookin' for something in particular? Hey, you new?" After a moment he realised the connotation of his speech, but honestly, he didn't really care. So be it! She probably got it all the time, and it wasn't like he was going to change his speech pattern when English wasn't even his first language anyways.

(OoC: Sorry for such a poor reply! I'm not very good at this yet.)

Keen ears hear his approch, and the girl twists to shoot him a brilliant smile. Hand is removed from the door and goes to her face. She brushes a loose strand of chocolate hair from her face. Frosted brown eyes glisten as she focuses her mind. Suddenly, her dark vision was filled with a mundane, cool green colour. She noted this, realising that he was trying to act cool. Her smile grows wider as she studies the shape of his aura. It was both sharp and curly, almost like a strange scuplture. She hears his words and she is drawn back to reality. She feels her behemoth dog bristle beside her at the stranger, and a hand goes down to lay upon his head. "Hello!" She grins happily. "Im looking for room number 24." Her face contorts for a moment as she tries to remember her room number. "Yes i am new." A hand extends forward. "Im Lesy Evlyn Virdis"
The extended hand was something Aehyun had learned was probably a bad idea to grasp. His powers, being fairly new, still were out of control, and while sometimes it was just like a simple buzzer, he knew that sometimes it got out of hand (no pun intended) and actually HURT. As a result, he decided to forgo it, and instead merely continued on to introductions.
"Just call me Aehyun," he said with a shrug. He never really went by his full name, to the chagrin of his parents; most people got mixed up and assumed his first name was Wu, which could lead to a hell of a lot of confusion for those who didn't "get" the whole naming system. "Here, follow me, yeah?" He motioned down the hallway - again, forgetting the whole 'she can't see' thing - and started moseying slowly, his hands tucked deep into his pockets, before turning around and walking backwards.
"So, what do you do? You know, the thing," he asked shamelessly. Some people didn't like to talk about their powers, Aehyun knew...but he mostly ignored that and asked anyways.
