It was one of those rare moments when Cameron and Mason weren't together. Mostly because one of them had decided that he'd needed to get laid more than study. Not that Cameron was bitter or anything, he just knew how it was going to end. The fact that he knew exactly where his brother was helped quell the separation anxiety. He had gather his pre-med texts book and headed to the library to get some work done.
It was no secret that Cameron was the more studious of the twins, but he was also the meanest. Mostly because he thought people were stupid and shallow, except for his family. He knew that he was biased however. He took one of the quiet rooms in back, he loved that the library in the school rented out private study rooms to the students. That way he could spread out all his stuff and not worry about someone coming in and wanting to share the table.
Only that's not exactly what happened when he felt like someone was standing near him. He looked up from his textbook to see a girl standing before him. "Yes?"

Pausing as she entered the room, Evelyn sighed. Just her luck; this room was usually left alone, due to it's location and quiet atmosphere. For some reason, people seemed to come here, meaning to study, without actually doing so. So, the more quiet, desolate rooms were often left alone, which was part of why Evelyn preferred them over any of the other rooms. She had little reason to study, as she knew most of it by heart, but she had to do something to kill the time, right?
So, studying it was. Especially now that school was almost over. There would be a few final tests and the like, and she wanted to make sure she kept herself completely updated on everything before taking the next few months off to simply focus on her and her brother's little side business.
Sadly, it didn't seem as if she would get the peace she'd wanted as someone else had already occupied the room. Sadly, it was the only room left, and this one had less occupants than the others. Drawing closer, she kept her eyes glued to the notebook in front of her when the boy noticed her. Looking up, she stared down at the boy, remaining quiet for a moment before finally, sighing.
"Did I say something? No, I didn't not," she replied, her eyes narrowed as she moved forward and took a seat down at the next table.

Cameron rolled his eyes, he was surprised that she actually came to study. Well not surprised...just happy. "I'd apologize, but normally people come in here pretending to study and bother me" That's all he said before he went back to studying, turning the page of his textbook. As long as she was there to study, it wouldn't be of any consequence to him. Though he did wonder what it was that she was working on. Not that it was any of his business.
She looked familiar like he had seen around somewhere. Probably clases since she looked a bit too old to be a high school student. Unlike that boy his brother tried to chat up the other day. That was actually a good moment, his brother thwarting all his attempts to embarrass him. It was kind of hard for Cameron to sit in a room with someone he didn't know. He found himself wishing Mason was there to annoy the girl so he could study in peace. It was too much silence, but that could've just been him.
He reached into his backpack to get the notes he had taken in his binder. He might as well try and lose himself in his studying. There was something about the girl that made him think that she was not the type to hold a conversation. He could respect that, mostly because that meant that he didn't have to lie, pretend to care...or talk.

Putting her books on the table in front of her, she put the text book further up and her notebook down below it. She placed her pen next to the notebook and reached for her purse, pulling out her music player containing various different classical music; perfect for studying. "I can assure you that I'm not one of those people," she tossed over her shoulder as she put the music player down on top of her text book. It seemed as if the boy was ready to leave her alone, and Eve was more than happy to allow that.
After all, she wasn't here to chat up some idiotic jock whom had no particular appeal or interest to her. She knew little about him and his family, save for a few minor details, and neither of which poked at her interest. And that was just the thing; he was uninteresting and held little to no potential for her or her brother.
Why on earth would she waste her time with someone like that when there was bigger fish at the school to chase? Besides, she figured the boy would have a lot more fun chasing girls than talking business. Somehow, he didn't strike her as the type who enjoyed talking numbers or licences.

Cameron was more than relieved he was ecstatic that the girl hadn't came here looking for Mason or something. It would be much better for him, if the girl had left all together but he wasn't the rude one...okay maybe he was. He wasn't obsessed with power or using people like a lot of the people in the school and while he knew who she was...he just didn't care. It's not like he could talk about medicine and child care with her. Even from the couple of sentence he could tell that she could never work in a day care. She'd scare away the kids, and not in the good way.
"That's a relief" He said taking out lifting up his text book to get the physcology one from underneath it. He really did wonder why Mason wasn't studying with him, the finals were coming any day and that fool would rather get laid. Surprisingly enough the boy would get good grades, maybe Cameron was just a worry wort and wanted to be overly prepared.
Still the silence was bothering him, mostly because his brother wasn't there. Even if he could recognize what a trainwreck that would be. He figured he'd try to make some kind of conversation, even if she blew him off. "Sorry to bother you, but what are you studying?"

Lifting her gaze, an almost impatient sigh fell from the brunette's lips as she looked over at the boy whom seemed to give the silence that had surrounded him far too little credit. Ah well, she supposed she could hardly blame him. Not everyone could enjoy the silence for what it was. Too many people seemed to prefer idle conversation that didn't at all matter over silence. Which in truth, was pathetic. She figured that wasn't something she'd ought to say, of course.
Just because she didn't favor talking about things neither of them would remember and rather save her words for when they were needed, didn't mind that everyone agreed.
"Business," she said, her brown eyes dropping back towards the books in front of her. Now, Evelyn could do the polite thing and ask the boy the same question, and she probably should have too. After all, her parents had taught her better than that. After a few seconds of internal debates, she lifted her gaze again, focusing in on the boy. "What about yourself?" Did she care? Of course not. Would she remember? Unlikely. After all, why on earth would she? It didn't matter. He didn't matter.
