Franck had to bounce a lot of things into a perfect balance: school, his boyfriend, his boyfriend’s brother, his father, chatting with his French online friends and the actual in-the-flesh ones he had. It left little time for him to be on his own. Luckily, he had always been a social butterfly who preferred to be around others. He had no problem spending his spare time with a friend doing something said friend wanted to do. It was precisely what he intended to do now.
To be honest, he felt like he neglected Erika Conner (Bellefonte) a bit lately. She had seemed so happy when she got married and he understood how this new life took a lot of her time. Then she lost her job as co-headmistress but he already knew it never was something she was truly happy about. She even seemed happier in college. So Franck focused on Elsa. But Elsa was happy now and, well, Jasper took a lot of his time. He managed to get some to see his good friend however, as this was important. He didn’t want to make a stranger out of her.
He invited her out of school. He thought she might like it. Sure, it wasn’t like Erika was trapped in there and didn’t know the town like so many other students but he still thought it might be nice to be out of the school for a change. Most of the time he met with her, they were on campus.
He wasn’t exactly sure what they would do but he told her to meet him at the coffee shop. The only thing he was certain, however, was that he didn't want to talk about any silly rumours on their account. Somehow, people seemed to think he was seeing both the twins. As for Erika... he simply refused to believe she might be seeing another guy in her husband’s back. She might be a bit, or a lot, of a drama queen, kind of like him, but he couldn’t believe she was able to do that.
He looked at his phone for the time. They gave each other an approximate one to meet there and Franck was already here. She was not late, not really, but he still walked in when he saw dark clouds forming in the sky, not wanting to get wet. So much for doing some outdoor activity. He ordered something and sat at a table, his phone out in case she texted him to say she couldn’t make it.
