Lucy's texts regarding recent sexual activity with a particular person were met with doubt by her brother. To lie about such a thing seemed well within her capacity, although if she had truly done what she'd so bluntly announced through text, it struck Artemis as a new level of cruelty towards him; she'd always been an expert at knowing just how to hurt others and knew exactly how to twist the knife afterwards... Artemis had been on the receiving end of that on more then one occasion, but now she was seemingly steadily becoming more hateful towards him. He often doubted that they were even siblings; Yet still he was determined to protect her without hesitation, with the same fiery passion he had previously. She was still his sister, and deep down his twin had to be in there. Somewhere... Surely?
Regardless if Lucy's texts were lies or not, the dominate one of the Emory twins had still majorly overstepped his mark, and ignored Artemis's request. Lucy had mentioned if he thought she was lying to confront Casper, so it was fairly obvious if it was a lie that they were in together; He didn't want to think about the alternative, that the cruel texts were true.
Artemis narrowed his eyes at the figure sat in the lounge, seemingly too in depth in reading what appeared to be a manga or comic book of sorts to notice Artemis's glare practically boring a hole into the back of his head. Casper Emory was the far more dangerous one of the two, Artemis had come to the conclusion of. Jasper acted more on his emotions, while Casper was... Calculated. Artemis had been gearing himself up for a more controlled confrontation then he'd had previously, but he couldn't deny the anger writhing in the pit of his stomach as soon as the other boy had entered his field of vision. All he'd asked was for him to stay away from Lucy, for her benefit, and his sheer arrogance
wouldn't even bend to that one simple request... There were plenty of others to mess with, why choose his sister?
Just to mess with him, he was certain.
Biting his bottom lip, Artemis strode forward, attempting his keep his emotions controlled as he approached the other boy, walking round so he was in front of him, leaning forward and placing his hands on either arm of the chair, leaning forward, closer, in an attempt at appearing intimdating; He narrowed his gaze, pouting a little. "Have something you want to tell me, Mr.Emory?" He spoke, poison lacing his words even though they were relatively calmly spoken.
