Asano Anri 38||Homo-romantic Grey-Ace Agender||School Psychiatrist||Mental Projection Aloof. Bold. Direct and straight-forward. Independent. Professional. Stiff. Workaholic. (Dr.) Anri is hardly the social friendly-type, never usually going of their way to interact with others unless there is a work-related purpose or direct confrontational need. While more open and approachable towards the students who go to them for psychiatric help, (Dr.) Anri is still rather stiff and intimidating in their conduct to many of a first glance impression. While it takes a while to be able to warm up and become accustomed to their nervous and OCD routines, (Dr.) Anri becomes a rather snarky and quick to witty remarks person who while may not be the ideal of a friendly medical professional, may benefit as a listening ear and eccentric presence.

Yo Kalliypge, it's Fate. You Pm'd me (on Frank), and I do have some potential ideas for you, though Frank is, uh, well, people probably think she needs help, but she's pretty levelheaded.

I've got Demi here who could probably use some counseling, as she's technically a cult member and hyper aggressive. So there's some potential there.

The person who really needs it is Zoe, who was recently put on Dirty Laundry as the Lesbian Pikachu for accidentally hospitalizing her girlfriend with her power; she was then forced to have a guard for over a month, and then she and her guard were shot by SPECTRE, and Zoe very nearly killed a SPECTRE agent to save her life. So she could definitely use some counseling and stuff (she's actually had really dour thoughts before)

It wouldn't be a bad idea for Asano and Guy to meet either. He's the head trainer and often works to help other staffers with various things. He's been working at the school for decades now, so he knows his way around and is willing to help SPECTRE agents.

I've also got Beau (southern gent, flirt and musician; he was one of those assigned to protect the school and has had issues with that);Frank (super-friendly party animal; who was kidnapped but is pretty much fine); JJ (giant douche-cop); Elsa (the bitchy Bellefonte; who could probly use some help, but would never willingly go);Tim (blogger and nerd), all of whom have open threads available right now.

(and this is just some friendly advice, but you should throw Asano at Jason, one of Bobby's chars; he's the on-call doctor and it would make sense for Asano and him to have a friendly working relationship, since doctors and psychiatrists often intersect. Plus, i know Bobby'd be up for posting)

Hello Fate. I'd love to have something worked out for Demi and Anri, especially considering the intriguing background she possesses. Should Demi's behavior become threatening to herself, to others, or potentially to society, she'd be sent to Anri's for appointments. The interactions would be delightful to unfold, to be honest.

Totally understand on Frank, and would also look forward to working with Zoe. If Zoe is willing to getting the available medical help in the form of one Dr. Asano Anri, then things can totally work something out here. Beau is also a possibility if he feels that he may need some professional assistance to help make life a little bit easier. Despite Anri's credentials and the connotation of their career, psychiatry isn't always limited to mental disorders despite its specialization. They can function as the school psychologist as well, which is mostly just helping people be able to handle the issues in their life that may be affecting it from being able to function properly on a day-to-day basis. I'd imagine that Anri would have to ensure reassuring this.

Anri could interact with Guy as well, though I'd imagine that it'd be rather short. I'd suppose that trying out a thread wouldn't hurt. Things could go either friendly or unfriendly. Any thoughts on this?

I imagine that they, being the Powers That Be, would likely send Demi to get help shortly after her arrival, especially as she's barely been here before starting fights and such.

And I can definitely start us up one between Zoe and Anri. I was probly thinking more psychologist as opposed to psychiatrist, though we can always just have them interact and see what happens from there.

There are open threads with all my chars as well too, which generally set up scenarios that can be worked toward. Those might be the best way to go with regards to some of the plotting ideas that might be a little more head-scratching.

Getting into fights would be certainly interesting and definitely inciting appointments with Anri. We can work this out once Demi does into fights with other characters, or whathaveyou destructive behavior with others.

But yes, a Zoe+Anri thread would be great. I'll look forward to it.

As for your other characters, I shall visit your plotting page and see what we could work with here.

*waves to Kalliypge* I've been wanting to attack your plotter since you app'd for Dr. Asano.

.i have vera.
She's currently a senior, getting ready to graduate, and had been on the Security Squad (infiltration team) during the whole SPECTRE mission. Even though, the whole plot itself took a toll on the students, that's not the main issue at hand with Vera. Before BA she had been in a plane crash, lost her parents, survived, ended up in a coma (not allowing her to remember what happened the moment of the crash until she woke up ofc). She's starting to show really late symptoms of PTSD that may develop into something bigger (may also effect her powers) and she's stressing about this and that. So I think a session or five with Asano may be needed. *breathes*

Nothing too major with her, she's just another recruiter/trainer at BA with the ability of telepathy, so if Asano ever needed interactions with more staff... Lordan is up for grabs.

Hello Kam. *flails* I'd like for Anri to be able to work with Vera. Which symptoms of PSTD would you imagine that would begin to appear in Vera? I'd imagine that she's been living with this for a while before it's started to take a toll on her abilities and how she conducts her lifestyle, or something along those lines that'd send her to Anri's. Or it can just begin to manifest after a trigger or whathave you. Your thoughts on it?

But I don't know how Lordan and Anri could interact. If Lordan has connections/a relationship of whatever nature with their students, it's more likely to be what Anri contacts her about individually. But I'll keep it in mind.

She has been living with it for a while but just hadn't had such serious symptoms until the recent attack from SPECTRE on the students and staff of BA. The trigger would've been suddenly seeing the bodies of those who died during the attack. I havent gotten around to posting her having one of these "episodes" (may be a flashback, panic attack or nightmare) yet because I've been busy but it'll be happening soon and it'll be effecting her powers.

Yeah Lordan loves the students and tends to help them with advice and personal issues if they ask, as well as training so yeah thats up in the air.

That sounds cool. I'll keep an eye out for the thread -- don't feel too rushed. Hopefully the episode would eventually help her start over to Anri's way where they can help. Once things work out there in development we can totally work out a thread for her and Anri.

I'd love to do another Asani x Zoe thread, as Zoe's growing a bit and all and she could probably use talking to Asani again. We could try something a little beyond the whole meeting in the office thing; I know Asani talked about more active therapies, so there's that. Could also have them attempt to meet somewhere else.

I'd also like to reiterate my request for Demi and Asani to meet. Demi's becoming more violent and frustrated in her situation, and I would wager that people are going to assign her to therapy following what she did in the camping trip (she literally went wild, hid in the woods and hunted other students). Not sure how well she'd listen, but she could definitely use another adult trying to actually help her.

But yes, another Asani and Zoe thread would be great. I was thinking about perhaps discussing exposure therapy in regards to her ability if Zoe wanted to pursue ways to control it, as I (and by extension, Anri) may be under the impression that her ability could be connected to her mental state and self confidence. They could also decide to meet on campus to talk about how Zoe's been doing so far. I'm not really sure as to what else they could do outside the office without it being considered unprofessional.

And we can totally arrange something out for Demi and Anri to finally meet. Anri would probably be briefed on her file beforehand. Would this be directly after the camping trip or a short period of time after the trip?

I wouldn't be surprised if maybe via exchanging notes, Dr. Anri and Dr. Campbell (Jason, Bobby's chars) would wonder that about Zoe's ability. I mean, that's not how it works, but it would totally make sense given everything. But yeah, Zoe's definitely going to need a second meeting seeing as she just broke up with devyn on top of everything else, leaving her very fragile and all.

Probably be a short time after the trip for Demi, as there would be some work in getting everything together and confirming stories and all.

Just let me know which one(s) you'd like me to start and which one(s) you feel comfortable starting.
