Devyn really dis respect that Zoe seemed to be firm in her decision about it all, since Devyn was big on standing up for what you believed in. Zoe didn’t want to do it, was standing up for it, so Devyn could fully respect it. Making a mental note to try and not bring it up or feel like she was trying to get sex out of Zoe. That was going to be hard because the way she flirted made it seem like she was, but she was going to try not to. Out of respect for Zoe's firm standing on the matter, yes, she would try for her girlfriend to come on...a little less strong. It was very nice to have Zoe's warm body against her however, she wanted something cool since she was currently feeling pretty hot, but this was Zoe's body. She could deal with the heat for the sake of having Zoe close to her, not planning on letting her go anywhere still.

"You smell nice." Devyn just let the words slip out, because she could indeed smell Zoe, could smell her at at distance even, so being closer she could smell the different scents on Zoe. From the one that specifically was Zoe's scent, to whatever Zoe had sprayed on herself. Devyn didn’t really see the point in perfume, she liked Zoe's natural scent either way and just the combination was just making Devyn want to leave her scent all over Zoe. Then Zoe would smell even better, because she would have Devyn's scent, she would be hers. Possessive. Devyn mentally scolded herself at where her train of thought was going. "You smell really good all the time." Devyn said wanting to nuzzle into Zoe's neck to take in her scent even more, but she didn’t. Just leaning in closer to give Zoe's nose a quick and soft kiss. The perfume would have only been a problem if Devyn's sense when all weird, which thankfully they had been being pretty normal today.

There was the lip nibbling and Devyn found herself leaning in really close to Zoe's lips, wanting to have a nibble as well. Zoe made them look like they would be good to nibble on after all. All that nibbling she was doing, all that thinking...Zoe really did think a lot. Which was good since Devyn often was going off of what her body was telling her, but was trying to make sure her mind was in the mix too. It just was difficult when you wanted someone with this amount of lust and could not do too much about it out of respect and fear that it might not be wanted in the first place. Devyn raised an eyebrow, just waiting for Zoe to say no but her wrist were grabbed instead and then could feel the brush of Zoe's skin and Zoe letting out a gasp. Devyn quickly going in to kiss Zoe's lip after Zoe let out the gasp, slipping her fingers just a little under the waist band of Zoe's shirt to slide her fingers along Zoe's skin. Devyn moving her head to go whisper into her girlfriend's ear.

"Don’t do something you think I want for my sake Zoe. I'm just happy you are opening up to me touching you." Devyn's words remained low, practically breathing on Zoe's ear and she went to move to kiss a light trail down Zoe's neck, hands pulling back for a moment to gain feeling again.

Now Zoe smelled good too. She couldn't help but giggle at that, even with Devyn's strained tone of voice. She knew what that meant, what it entailed. As if the hands and the heat weren't enough, there was that strain. So much let Zoe know; Devyn didn't really hide it well, at least not from her. That affected Zoe as well: to know that she aroused someone, that she aroused Devyn absolutely thrilled her. It made her want to be more arousing, sexier, if that were possible.

A gasp, and Zoe felt lips touching hers again. She wanted to be selfish, to cease those lips with hers and insist upon their connection, to kiss Devyn hard, as she deserved to be kissed, to take the other girl's breath away as Devyn so easily snatched Zoe's. Yet she knew better, months of reservation pulling her back from going further. Devyn had no such reservations, despite what she said. Zoe could hear the want in each and every word, could practically feel it in the touch on her soft skin, just teasing around her waistband, sending little tingling sensations all throughout.

Low words rasped in Zoe's ear, promises that it was enough. Didn't Devyn realize that every breath betrayed her? The hot breath puffed in Zoe's ear, and then lips descended, planting a series of light kisses over Zoe's neck. Thought left for a moment and again Zoe felt her body melting before Devyn. her leg's gave out; she nearly fell, catching herself with Devyn, urging the other to bring her down to the ground. If Devyn was going to be insistent with lavishing Zoe's neck with attention, then Zoe needed to be prone, despite her earlier comments. It was that or hurt herself or make this even more complicated.

Zoe's mind was torn, emotions and want wrestling against her reason and thought, the more primitive emotions winning for the most part. Zoe felt Devyn's hands go away and she panicked for a moment, thinking that she'd given off a wrong signal. Without thinking about her own power, she tried to push the hands better, sliding them around, accidentally pushing the fingers beneath the waistband of the skirt. Zoe could feel them trapped between fabric and skin, the tips likely touching other fabric as well, and her breath hitched for a moment. She wanted to look Devyn in the eyes, but she didn't want the sweet kisses to stop. It all overwhelmed poor Zoe.

Devyn did honestly try to hold herself back from being too obvious about what she wanted, but she was not good at it, at all. Which she figured Zoe had picked up on by now and she didn’t even care. She works on it another day, right now she just wanted to feel Zoe, even if they were only for a few moments. That was good enough for now. That’s what Devyn had to keep telling herself, that it was enough, that she could stop. That way she would not completely lose it and just do what she really wanted to do. It was good that Zoe was holding herself back because if Zoe didn’t, then Devyn was going to take that as an okay. The go ahead with what you are doing and do more, don’t stop. That’s what her mind would tell her if Zoe was forward with her and acted back to what Devyn was doing to her girlfriend.

She smells so nice. So soft. Warm. Devyn was thinking to herself as she was enjoying every scent her nose picked up, every little breath and heart beat she would hear coming from Zoe and herself. Her growling grew really loud for a moment when Zoe's legs gave out from under her. Thinking that Zoe was trying to move away without having said anything and Devyn was not going to let that happen. However Zoe was urging her to the ground and Devyn did not even hesitate to move down to the ground with Zoe, making sure to be careful and not shove her girlfriend down onto the ground, more so of a light lay down onto the ground that had been beneath their feet. Didn’t she say no to this before? I should stop right? Or does she want this? Devyn was feeling conflicted again, still worried that Zoe was doing this for her and not for herself. Or maybe Zoe was just feeling the lust too, Devyn sure hoped so.

"Any dreams about me?" Devyn asked, whispered close to Zoe's neck when she paused for a moment to let her lips regain some more feeling. Devyn however was caught a little off guard by Zoe pushing at her hands, Devyn's fingers slipping under the waist and of Zoe's shirt where Devyn was perfectly fine with them being there. Devyn's fingers where happy right where they wore, wondering along Zoe's skin, and even a digit or too playing with the other fabric and slipping under it just a little, kissing more at Zoe's neck and forgetting about the fact that she was not really able to feel her hands anymore, but she was still able to move them and that was what mattered. Could not feel her lips either as she moved to get some of the skin from Zoe's neck between her teeth and nibble on it, sucking a little, planning on leaving a mark. Even if she was going to have a mouth completely useless soon, she had a goal.

They were on the ground now; Zoe could feel the cold earth pushing against her back, some twigs and roots digging into her soft flesh. She didn't care, didn't care about anything that didn't directly involve Devyn. A whispered question wormed its way up to Zoe's ears. Normally Zoe would have flushed, would've stammered, would've thought, as it was, she could only release a breathy "yes," confessing the truth in a moment of weakness, not likely to be the only give she'd allow. Devyn's voice sounded thick, thicker than usual, but Zoe's addled brain insisted this was because of the lust, not because of the properties of Zoe's skin.

Fingers slid underneath a skirt now, teasing sensitive flesh, making Zoe squirm yet again. She thought she could just feel Devyn playing, teasing her a little more. Lips closed about her neck, moving. Zoe was ready for more fleeting kisses, sweet and right on her. Lust won there, as Devyn's lips worked more and more at Zoe's flesh. Again, Zoe didn't think, simply felt the connection upon her. Felt something drag against her, causing her to release a little yelp. Was that... teeth? Was Devyn marking her? That felt right, somehow. Yes, Zoe wanted Devyn to leave the mark upon her flesh, to bear a sign that said that she belonged to Devyn.... wait, belonged? Where did that word come from? Zoe could swear at the lips pressing against her were becoming stranger in sensation... how long had Devyn retained contact... weren't her hands pressed tight against her... but the skirt protected some now; Zoe could just feel a little bit of Devyn pressing down there; plenty of protection, certainly not spreading...

something rustled, something belonging to neither girl. It rustled in the bushes a few feet away, and Zoe yelped, startled, jerking away suddenly from Devyn. Her hands flung to her body, as if just realizing that she'd just had her girlfriend's hand down her skirt. Panicked brown eyes looked, only to see a small animal hopping free from the underbrush: a rabbit. It stared at the two, twitched its nose, and bounded away. Zoe lay there panting, staring, wondering where the hell that had come from?

Devyn caught the breath yes, how could she miss it when she was so close to Zoe, hearing every spoken word, breath taken, heartbeat. It was all very enjoyable and Devyn was not regretting a single moment of it all. Still having been careful to not put any of her body weight on her girlfriend and instead hovered over her as her lips would kiss at Zoe's neck and her hands would wonder. Devyn was sure to make a mental note to ask what kind of dreams Zoe had about her, because they could have been a wide range of dreams and not just the kind of dreams wanted to hear Zoe was having. Even still, Devyn just wanted to know that she was on Zoe's subconscious mind even if the dreams were not sexual at all. She didn’t plan on asking about them now due to the simple fact that her mouth preferred to stay busy with what it was doing now.

The squirming however was tempting Devyn to move her hands to hold Zoe down and still, even if Zoe was not really going anywhere, Devyn just wanted to be sure. However she didn’t because that seemed too forceful and again Zoe was not really going anywhere, just squirming. Part of Devyn wanted to bite down harder when Zoe let out the yelp, part of her thinking like a squeak toy or a prey letting out cries before it was dying. She wanted to hear more of those cries and silence it, but again she was not all that animalistic and really didn’t want to hurt Zoe so was careful. Losing feeling on her whole mouth so there was no way she was going to try talking for a moment. Zoe didn’t push her away or stop her so she took it as Zoe being okay with Devyn leaving a mark on her. Is the feeling spreading? The thought floated in Devyn's mind as she could not feel her hands all that well or at all and for sure her mouth was completely numb and starting to feel like it was spreading across her face. Devyn was not really thinking about that however because Zoe's reactions where what drives Devyn now.

Rustling? Probably nothing important. Devyn thought to herself, certainly not planning on stopping because of some movement in the forest. She was not scared of anything in the woods, pretty sure she would be able to handle her own and be able to protect herself and Zoe for anything that might happen upon them. However Zoe let out a yelp and jerked away from her, Devyn too numb to really react to quick to try and stop her from going. Instead looking over to the direction of what had apparently startled Zoe. ...a rabbit. Devyn felt a wave of anger and frustration, mentally crying in fact, but her face was expression less. It was good that her legs were not numb because as soon as the rabbit went to hop off Devyn bolted after it, disappearing out of site for a moment.

She was gone for at least three minutes before returning with her hands in her pockets, not saying anything as she moved over to the tree closest to where they both had been. Leaning back against it, sliding down into a siting position with her knees up, eyes closed, and head rested back against the tree. Her tie was lose and a few buttons undone on her long sleeve buttoned up white shirt. Inwardly she was cursing up a storm and just wanted to break something. She had that rabbits scent down and planned on tracking it down later and making it dinner at some point.

For a moment, Zoe thought she saw a strange expression on Devyn's face. By the time she blinked, however, the expression had either gone or her vision had restored to normal. It took about that much time for Devyn to go bounding off into the woods too, heading in the direction the rabbit went. Zoe stared in that direction for some time, watching, listening, waiting. After about a minute or so, however, she seemed to realize her own disheveled self again. Zoe flushed, then worked at tucking in her clothing and rearranging things, attempting to make it look as though she hadn't essentially been felt up by her girlfriend mere moments before.

She remained sitting though, even as Devyn silently approached. Zoe followed her girlfriend with her eyes, carefully looking the other over. Devyn looked about as disheveled as Zoe had been, though likely without nearly as much reservation or shame. She felt different, tenser somehow, and Zoe wondered what was the cause of that. was it something she did? The teasing? That they stopped? That struck Zoe as being the most likely explanation: she couldn't see Devyn being overly pleased about something interrupting them in the middle of... their game. Zoe wasn't sure you could really call it that anymore, but she wasn't about to say that.

There was something she did need to say, or, well, ask: "you didn't kill the rabbit, did you?" she turned and looked over at Devyn, feeling a little sad and pathetic for having to ask. "It's just a rabbit..." she tried. She had a feeling that Devyn wouldn't see it that would, would want to take her frustrations out on something and the rabbit made quite the nice little target. Still, Zoe could hope, she could try, she could... do something.

Devyn remained still for a moment at where she was sitting, eyes staying closed as she took a deep breath in and the let it out slowly. Calming herself down. She knew she could have a pretty bad temper when she was upset, but her dad had helped her out with that. Telling her to get still, take a deep breath in, and when you would breathe out to let it go. That was why Devyn always tried to take a deep breath before using her power, wanting to let go of any negative or bad feelings that she had at the time. That way it would not carry over and potentially cause her to lose control sooner or to hold on said anger and take it out on whoever the anger was directed towards, or an innocent bystander. Zoe was the only person around her now and she didn’t want to hurt Zoe. She wanted the opposite, wanting to protect Zoe and for Zoe to feel safe and like being around her.

Her eyes opened after a moment, hearing Zoe's question and looked over to her girlfriend, noting the tone in Zoe's voice. "Not yet, but I planned on it." Devyn admitted, again not really much of a person to tell a lie, more so the type to not tell the whole truth or play around words to lead people to misunderstand, be confused, caught off guard, or a combination of all three. She played with her tie for a moment, looking down at it until Zoe spoke again saying that it was just a rabbit. "So I'm assuming you don’t want me to kill it then?" Devyn asked as she glanced up at Zoe. Devyn wondering if she should go back to her dorm or still hang out with Zoe. If I just leave she might take it the wrong way. Devyn thought, but just felt like not being touched for the moment, and looked over in the direction of where the rabbit went off to.

"I'm sorry." Devyn said after a moment, playing with the jelly bands on her wrist as she said it. Pulling on them until she started to snap them, breaking the little bands that were wrapped loosely around her wrist to begin with. Tempted to just discard them in the grass but instead put them in her back pocket and pulled out her phone. Having got a text message, giving it a quick read, and then putting it away without having responded like normal. The slight numbness was still there, that or Devyn was still wanting to touch Zoe, but she didn’t move from where she was sitting and just looked down at the grass, taking another deep breath. seriously, not that big of a deal Devyn. Get over it. She mentally scolded herself.

The admission didn't surprise Zoe in the slightest; she'd more or less guessed it. She just smiled apologetically at Devyn at the question. Of course Zoe didn't want her girlfriend to kill a fluffy, innocent creature; that much should have been a give in. Summoning up a little courage, Zoe tried a little joke: "I won't kiss you if you've got blood breath," she tried to make it sound teasing, but there was something slightly ominous in those words, something that made Zoe feel sorry that she'd even bothered to say anything. There followed a moment of silence, with Zoe curled up slightly, looking over at Devyn and wishing there was something she could do.

The apology caught her by surprise though. Zoe actually drew her head up, eyes widening at it, blinking a few times. Devyn was fidgeting now, moving about, playing with her phone. Zoe blinked a few times, waiting to see if the silence would be broken. She actually didn't mind moments of quiet like this; sometimes she even relished them, so for her, the wait wasn't that bad. She did wonder though, and that wonder niggled at her, made her chew her lip for a bit.

"I like you," she finally said, releasing her lip, "even if you are a rabbit chasing, randy, shadow-wolf," she turned to Devyn as she finished, smiling wide, though without showing teeth. the smile did touch Zoe's eyes, the browns seeming to dance with merriment for a bit. she even scooted a bit closer to Devyn, stopping, making sure that she was wanted.

That was Zoe: wanting connection, knowing full well that someone liked her strongly, but still hesitating, as if somehow things would suddenly shift and she'd end up left alone or worse.

A chuckle escaped Devyn's lips a little as Zoe's statement of not planning on kissing Devyn if she had blood breath. Again she had been surprised but just what Zoe would be brave enough to say. It also gave Devyn her answer in a way, that Zoe did not want her to kill the rabbit. Even if Devyn blamed the rabbit it was kind of a good thing it did show up. Devyn hated to admit it, but it was true. Little fuzz ball should be happy my girlfriend just saved it's life. Devyn thought as she slightly gave a glare off in the direction of where the rabbit went off to again, and then back to her silence. She didn’t really know what to say or do at the moment, heading back to her room seemed like a good idea. She make herself something to eat, do a super-fast and hard work out while she waited for it to cook, and then take a nice long cold shower. Then a nap, there would for sure be a nap in there.

It was all sounding like a pretty good idea, only problem was how to leave without upsetting Zoe. Zoe didn’t say anything after her apology. Was she not forgiving? Did she need to say why she was sorry for? Or did Zoe just not hear her? Questions started to float around Devyn's head, only vanishing at hearing Zoe's words. Devyn looking over to her girlfriend who was saying that she liked her even with Devyn being...well Devyn. There was that smile, a different one of sorts, but still just as cute and those eyes seeming to come to life even more. She really means it. The thought trickled in Devyn's brain for a moment and she could not help but to smile a little in return. Reaching out to bring Zoe the rest of the way so she was right next to her when Zoe had moved a little closer to her. "I like you too Zoe." Devyn said, knowing very well that she did like Zoe a lot more then she should, but was blaming a bit of the lust and just Zoe's personality.

"Even if I can’t touch you long and well...other things. I still like you." Devyn admitted and it was the truth. She could not really see herself hating Zoe not in the smallest way, sure it was possible, but she did not really see it happening yet. She really did want to convey to Zoe that even if she did growl, make moves, not let Zoe get away, and would be a bit upset when she was unable to do thing and had to deal with not feeling things; that she really did like Zoe. They were friend first after all and if they didn’t work out or what have you Devyn knew she still wanted to be Zoe's friend. Zoe was basically stuck with her in some form of a relationship not matter what kind it was. Devyn moved to put an arm around her girlfriend and then rest her head back against the tree once more, having lost her shades at some point and was having to squint a little as she glanced up at the sky.

Zoe warmed at Devyn's response, the smile deepening a little. It certainly helped that Devyn's arm had moved over to wrap Zoe, pulling the other girl close. Zoe nearly sighed in relief, feeling their bodies nestling against one another again. She realized then that she didn't just enjoy the contact; she enjoyed the contact with Devyn. Some part of Zoe was dimly acknowledging that she was, in fact, falling a little more for the other girl with each passing moment. She also couldn't help but feel that whatever happened in their future, it would be their future, one shared between them.

There were several things Zoe wanted to say, maybe something about how she wanted Devyn to touch her or... do other things. She swallowed, wetting her lips for a moment. She knew she needed to say something at the least, while Devyn leaned against the tree. This was one of those moments that Zoe needed to say something, even if she wanted to just curl up against Devyn and enjoy the quiet silence of their being for a few moments. She did hesitate for a bit, wanting to draw that out, but then she knew she had to say something:

"I do like it," she said, softly. Zoe let her arm stretch about Devyn for a bit, pulling her a little closer. "The touching and kissing; I like it when it's with you," she moved to lightly kiss Devyn again, just drawing her lips against the strong jaw. She lingered for just a few moments, not wanting her power to spread or spoil it too far, then parted, smiling at her girlfriend. There, that felt right. This whole thing felt pretty right, actually.

Devyn was pleased to see the smile change and it made her feel warm inside, even if she was already pretty warm and working on cooling off. No, this was a different kind of warm, the good warm when you felt wanted and safe...like you belonged. Yeah, Devyn really did feel like Zoe wanted her there and that she belonged there. The safe part was a bit relative, but she was in full belief that Zoe could in fact protect someone like Devyn. Zoe had that power after all, and that cuteness about her that if she was not so shy and was more open about what she wanted, she be a force to be reckoned with. Have all kind of little minions working under her and could easy scare someone in their place.

However that was not Zoe and Devyn was glade for that. She liked Zoe for who she was, even if Zoe was changing bit by bit, but she didn’t see the changes as bad. Did Zoe see them as bad? Did she even know that she was changing? At least around Devyn she was, Devyn had not really gone around asking people about Zoe, in fact she was even more thankful that Zoe was shy because in a way she was able to keep her all to herself. Selfish yes, but Devyn was basically at the point with Zoe that Zoe was hers and even if Zoe was play flirting with another person, Devyn would growl at whoever it was. No, her anger would never be at Zoe herself...at least not in most cases. She tended to just have the issue with whoever Zoe was giving attention to if it was not her.

Devyn's eyes settled on Zoe when Zoe did break the silence, which Devyn was thankful for. Silence and being comfortable resulted in Devyn starting to feel sleepy and part of her just wanted to lay down with Zoe and take a quick nap out here with her. That and not having her glasses was not really helping. "Noted. I'll make sure to do it more often then, but be a little more behaved and try to not do it out in open places." Devyn said giving Zoe as smile as she looked away again, reaching up to rub her eyes for a moment. It was nice and odd to be pulled closer by Zoe and then the kiss to her jaw just added to the more so surprise to Devyn. It was a wonderful surprise, one that had her turning to trail a few kisses along Zoe's jaw. Feeling its softness, but made sure to stop at just kissing Zoe's jaw and nothing more.

Part of Devyn was wondering now however. Zoe had said she enjoyed it when it was with Devyn. Did that mean there was in fact someone else that had touched Zoe. That Zoe had allowed to whoever it was to touch her? Or was it against her will? Settle down. Devyn had to remind herself as she loosed her grip on the grass that she had not even realized she had grab a hold of when her thought started to wonder. Turning to look at Zoe for a moment in the silence, taking in all of Zoe's features and smiling at her. "You really are beautiful Zoe. If I stare at you too long I might forget to breath. Would be too focused on those eyes and that smile of yours. That soft skin." Devyn said as she leaned in a little but stopped and attempted to move back to her head resting against the tree.

It was less a matter of Zoe pulling Devyn closer and more a matter of Zoe pulling herself closer to Devyn. Still, the result was the same, and apparently was enough to warrant a few kisses on Zoe's jaw. She smiled as she felt the soft touch of Devyn's lips upon her skin, once more warming her. It didn't feel quite as good as the nibbles on her neck, which was probably a good thing at this point. Zoe even playfully pushed Devyn away, making sure to be gentle. She had a feeling that she'd have to do that a lot, and it was a lot easier to do when she wasn't, well, being felt all over or kissed or the dozens of other things that Devyn did that would easily override any resistance that Zoe could muster.

Their eyes met again, Zoe's bubbling over with affection for the other girl. The compliment made Zoe smile, this time teeth showing, and she lowered her head, her bashful nature again taking over. "See, now you're being flattering," she said. Zoe moved for a bit, letting Devyn get comfortable against the tree. As soon as she was certain that Devyn was comfortable, Zoe decided to move herself. It was tempting to cuddle up against Devyn, but Zoe wanted to try something else, almost to see if she could get away with it. She shifted, altering so that he lay nearly perpendicular to her girlfriend. She then gently laid her head down in Devyn's lap, moving slightly to kiss a little bit of Devyn's stomach that showed when the other girl leaned back, before tugging the shirt down to teasingly cover skin.

"Did you want to go back?" she asked, looking up. "Or if you want to take a nap, that's fine. I know you like sleeping," she smiled, trying to sound teasing. In truth, Zoe wouldn't have minded just sort of watching Devyn sleep, creepy as that probably sounded. She didn't want to go anywhere anytime soon, but it wasn't like she could just outright ask Devyn to stay there a while.

The playful push was cute and for sure it did help keep Devyn in check. She just hoped Zoe would be able to do it for really if she needed to. Devyn understood that no meant no, but sometimes words just could not reach her if she really wanted something. So a good shove would do her some good. She might let out a growl or glare for a small moment, but it would be more out of just a natural reaction then out of real anger or hates. Again, she really could not see herself getting angry as Zoe or feeling any form of hate towards the other girl. Like how could you hate Zoe? A person that didn’t like her or at least get along with her a little should not be in existence. Like really, Devyn considered wiping anyone like that off the face of the Earth, but that was a tad bit violent.

"I'm just being honest either way." Devyn said soon after Zoe's words, watching her girlfriends more shy side show again. Devyn just wanted to lift her head up and kiss her, but decided against it. Didn’t want to ruin the cuteness that was Zoe, wanting to sneak another photos of her girlfriend, but that would involve moving and she was already pretty comfortable. So comfortable in fact that she froze a bit when Zoe moved to lay down on her lap. She didn’t mind that part at all and just found it to die for adorable, however Zoe kissed her. Kissed her stomach in specific and that caught Devyn completely off guard. So off guard that she shucked in a quick breath and blushed just a tad, trying to play it off with a yawn so she could cover her face. Crap, hope she didn’t see that. Devyn was basically praying for it, having no clue how Zoe would act if she knew she had gotten Devyn to blush.

Devyn didn’t really blush unless caught completely off guard by some form of physical contact like a kiss, and that didn’t happen too often; having pretty much of a sense when someone was going to kiss her. Her mouth hung open for a moment as she tried to collect herself for a moment, having to clear her throat. "It would be rude if I feel asleep while we were hanging out and you didn’t plan on napping as well." Devyn said with a smile as she reached out to stroke her hand along Zoe's cheek, looking down at her girlfriend. "Unless you really don’t mind..." Devyn said after a moment as she went to pull her hand back to herself. Nap sounded really good, even more so after having ran after a rabbit.

Honest, Zoe nearly giggled at that. She certainly smiled. Oh, part of her was sure that it was flattery, but another part was reminded that those hands had just been feeling that soft skin and that Devyn clearly at least wanted her. It wasn't love, but it was most certainly something, and Zoe really hoped it was something higher than lust. It has to be, right? Why else would she keep putting up with me? That was what made sense to her, and she was almost confident in that thought.

For a moment, Zoe wasn't sure that she'd be able to get away with putting her head in Devyn's lap. She thought that her girlfriend locked up or something, but the moment seemed to pass. Soon enough, Zoe was comfortable, almost as comfortable as she would have been were their legs entwined. In fact, this felt almost better in some ways; sweeter, more submissive, maybe; it was something you did with your sweetheart. The word made Zoe smile, and she mentally composed a poem about passing sweets between hearts,
stolen kisses between dying moments
fading sun makes us lazy
I put my head in your lap,
sweets pass between hearts,
lips press against a womb,
and we relax.

Zoe almost wanted to say it aloud, but it felt silly, so she kept it in, locking it away for later. Words came down, causing Zoe to stir and look back up at her girlfriend. "I just told you I don't mind," she insisted, gently poking Devyn's stomach a few times. She paused, shifting a little. Devyn's stomach felt... hard. She shouldn't have been that surprised, as active as Devyn was, but it was a pleasant surprise and... hot. Zoe shifted again, trying to pretend that word hadn't drifted in. "I would love to sleep with you, um, I mean," she flushed, "like a nap; I'd love to nap, oh God," she shifted to bury her head in Devyn's lap, feeling the heat rising to her ears.

Devyn was honestly use to someone laying on her chest, but had a few people lay down in her lap, especially those of a feline nature that wanted her to pet them. Devyn knew all the good spots to touch a cat you could say. She also knew the good spots to touch and kiss on someone’s body, but that was in a different category entirely, one that she would never mix with the other. Ever. Didn’t seem like she saw. Devyn thought when Zoe didn’t seem to react to her basically hiding away and trying to cover up being caught off guard for a moment. Looking down at Zoe and wondering what was going on in the head of hers that was making Zoe smile. She did really like her power, it connected her to her father, but she did often wish to read people’s minds. Even more so when she was messing them or causing them to react a certain way. She wanted to know what was going on in their heads about her when she had her fun.

"Alright, but only because you insisted." Devyn said with a chuckle, reaching down to take the hand that was poking at her stomach. She was just glade she was not ticklish, she didn’t remember ever really being ticklish. Like she would have her moments where certain parts would make her laugh when touched, but it would not last long; almost as if the 'ticklish spot' had moved in order to keep Devyn from fully ever being ticklish. Devyn did laugh for a moment at Zoe basically getting embarrassed over her word choice. Even if Devyn had known what Zoe had meant. Zoe's brain must have been in the gutter still where Devyn was actually working on getting hers out of there and keeping it out at least for a little while. However that proved a tab bit difficult with Zoe burying into lap since, well reasons. She reached her hand out to softly rub Zoe's back.

"I know my silly, beautiful Zoe." Devyn said her voice dropping down into a whisper, a mix of sleepy and also wanting the words to be soft enough that Zoe would have to actually be listening in order to hear her. Her hand that was not busy rubbing Zoe's upper back moved to take the hand that had been poking her stomach again, entwining their fingers together, and then setting her head back against the tree. "If you want me to hold you just move me to lie down on the ground or lay against me and I should naturally put my arms around you." Devyn said in that still low tone as her eyes drifted closed. She was fine if Zoe stayed in her lap, moved, or even moved her. She didn’t really mind either easy, feeling the wave of sleepiness starting to take over. "Just...don’t...leave." Devyn managed to get out as she gave Zoe's hand a light squeeze as she completely dozed off. Having always been one to be quick to fall asleep and slow to wake after all.
