The power is an overwhelming sensation. It is easily defined as a vibe, either positive or negative, assisted with tingling fingertips. With that said, that feel is a warning of a vision. The premonitions are incomplete pictures that take over her vision with a flash for only a moment that she is given to decipher. However, she does witness the visions in a length while she dreams; much like an episode of sleep paralysis. Commonly triggered by touch or intense emotions.
LIMITATIONS:
The premonitions themselves are hard to understand and are not necessarily written in stone. As well, since the visions are only a small piece of the big picture, they are easily misinterpreted. In general, the power works at random. As stated above, touch or intense emotions trigger the powers, but she is rarely capable of getting a vision by intention.
SIDE-EFFECTS:
Fatigue is a huge side effect, as well as dizziness and minor headaches. She is a sufferer of migraines and has a slight eye sensitivity to bright lights and noises, but is able to continue to properly function. MISC: Always having found tattoos and piercings attractive, Meredith succumb to the needle as an oath to dedicate her body to art. The outcome being three piercings; ears, nose, and belly button. Along with the metal in her skin, she has six tattoos—most minimalist ink scars— with the most significant being two small hands pinky promising on the back of her left calf.
PERSONALITY: Meredith Luna is compassionate and spiritual; simply, an idealist. Seeing only the good and beauty in every situation, she reminds cheerful and carefree. Perceived as calm, Meredith Luna takes on the role of a spectator and mediator. A firm believer in living in the moment, she is considerably tends to take things easy and slowly, making her tolerant, flexible, and adaptable.
However, she lacks in the department of being laid-back as her emotions are always heightened and quick to change— she is able to conceal such mood swings, keeping up with the facade of being relaxed. Due to this, Meredith Luna is always empathetic, resulting in her taking charge as a confidant. She is incredibly passionate with everything she does and is quick to fall in love.
Enjoying hikes, hot tea, and a good book, Meredith Luna also would never pass up an opportunity for an adventure or dancing in a rain storm. CHILDHOOD: The Jones’ seemed like a cookie cutter family, but all families have their demons. Vivi, Meredith Luna’s mother, was a stunning woman. Vivi used her beauty to get want she wanted and began to engage in multiple affairs. This drove Sage to the bottle, using the poison to cope with his wife’s lack of fidelity. Sexually scandalous and alcoholism were quite evident in how Meredith was raised.
However, she never did blame either of her parents, but thanked them for the lessons she learned from them; her father’s compassion and pancake flipping skills, her mother’s sweet singing voice and healing hugs. She was lucky, and knows damn well, to be loved by both of her parents. Also blessed with a twin sister, Penelope, with whom she was close.
ADOLESCENCE: Timing is a weird thing. A few weeks after her 13th birthday, Meredith Luna's younger sister died, hit by a drunk driver. The day of the accident, as the sisters embraced as they parted for the day, a blinding image of a red car flashed over Meredith Luna's vision. The whole day felt off, a unnerving sensation boiling in her diaphragm.
After the burial, where Meredith Luna lingered behind afterwards to steal a few seconds to say goodbye, that the school came to give their condolences for her loss as well as to inform her of her mutation.
ADULTHOOD: Only having been an adult for two years, Meredith Luna is still trying to understand the works of it all. She has experienced plenty in her short twenty years: love, loss, drugs, etc. However, she still does not fully know herself or exactly how the world functions.
Still unsure of what she actually wants to do with her life, Meredith Luna has filled her schedule with a diversity of subjects and hobbies. She is on a journey of self-identification, indulging with unique individuals and interesting activities.♦ THE PLAYER ♦
