It has been nine years since the Dark War. Sebastian's followers and the seelies were all defeated but not without great cost of life. The seelies were forced to agree to the terms of the Clave signing the agreement to the Cold Peace. But they were not happy about it. Following the events of the war, the Clave reopened the Academy in Idris and began rapidly recruiting trying to replenish the ranks of Shadowhunters with the help of the Mortal Cup. Now the Shadowhunters are quickly becoming one of the largest groups in all of down world. Clary, Jace, Simon, and Isabelle have returned to the New York Institute, taking over the job of running it. Magnus returned to New York as high warlock yet again, bringing with him Alec and their adopted children.
The world has been thriving in this uneasy peace with the seelies. But the Seelie court is still unhappy with the terms and quickly are losing patience with the shadowhunters. Demons have been flooding into this realm by the bus load and even the droves of shadowhunters are having trouble fighting them off. For every one killed another five will pop up. The Clave are at a loss on why so many are coming through but a few members are suspicious that the Seelies may be letting them through out of spite.
With the Shadowhunters fighting to save the world from the demons, and the peace with the Seelie Court teetering on failing, what can be done to spare the world from utter ruin? Can the world survive another war like the Dark War? Pick a side and join the fight.
