Having done his exploring and learning about most of the important spots in and around Kalispell, Lamont figured he would drop in on an old associate that he had done business with in the past. Their families had done business together even before Lamont took over his father's company. Helios Defense and Security. Lamont found it mildly amusing that the defense and security business was named after a Greek titan and the titans had been defeated meaning their defenses were null and void. But his company was named after a Norse myth as well. Though it was his last name. Still he could not say anything as it would be mildly hypocritical.
Adjusting his tie he stepped out of his limo and once his eyes adjusted to the daylight he noticed how big this was. A look of being impressed hit his face. Then he walked to the gate. He could have had the Limo take him inside but he felt it would be more beneficial to look around a little. When he got to the gate an intercom activated. "State your purpose" it said. He smiled a little understanding protocol though he was not amused by the lack of manners in the statement.
"I come to take audience with Andrew Conner"
His raspy Swedish accent evident and almost hard to understand but the intercom got it. Then it replied. "Who shall I say requests about this audience?". That question had him very unamused and he debated simply turning and leaving.
"My name is Lamont Fenris and I do not request things."
The man on the com did not believe him as Lamont Fenris was world known, and it had been public information that The Fenris Corporation had opened a headquarters nearby but the CEO himself being in or around Kalispell seemed odd when his flagship office was in Sweden. So the guard on the intercom said. "Yeah, and I'm the queen of England. Really who are you and why do you want to speak with Mr. Conner."
"Look your Majesty I am losing my patience."
The guard then came to the door and saw the man standing there and that it indeed was Mr. Fenris and the gate was opened. The guard walked over to him, and sited that it was just protocol and then requested that any weapons be turned in. But unless a basic pocket knife, a cigar cutter, and a box of matches were considered weapons Lamont was unarmed. He did have to empty his pockets and show this. Had he been armed he would have had to show permits. He was allowed to refill his pockets and asked if he needed a guide which he declined. This was not going well as he hoped it would be entertaining to come here so far he had just been irritated. The guards informed Mr. Conner of Lamont's arrival via radio as he walked onto the grounds.
As he walked onto the grounds he noticed many different training exercises as well as other venues in the area. He did not explore much he figured he could get Drew to give him a tour. He made his way directly to Helios offices. Then walked through the door following all of the protocols. As he walked through he saw a man with a sloppy stance about to get hit with a blunted arrow.
"Sidestep right two paces. Then turn and stick out your left hand in exactly 2 seconds."
The man did as Lamont said and caught the arrow. Lamont was able to detect and see the mans off stance and the distance of the archer and the arrow. His guess on how to alter and fix this was just an educated guess using the flaws and factors of the situation and it worked. Sometimes it did not but this time it did. Lamont just smiled and kept walking to the offices he was taken into a secretary's office and then escorted in to see Drew. A smile grew on his face as he walked in and sat in a leather chair.
"Andrew Conner. Interesting place you have here. I am impressed."
