"Thank you, deary." Lola Green flashed an appreciative smile at the bus driver as she made her way off the vehicle -- which he did not return kindly. Uh, rude. She shook her head disappointedly at the bad and poor behavior displayed as the bus pulled away from the stop.
Never mind that, the old woman did not leave her animal companions alone at home to come downtown and tell off a bus driver that would it have killed him to return a smile. Just as she was told that morning by the waiters at the cafe where she had breakfast, a rally was taking place up ahead. The sight brought a smile to her face. A rally against that crazy lady running for mayor. However, Lola did not immediately join in because she already spotted Elizabeth Fisher after turning around the corner.
"Hey you! Why don't you do yourself and all of us here a favor and go back to those night clubs where I'm sure your pretty face would be more appreciated!"
