“I now declare you married under the eyes of God and the law.”
When Quinn heard those words, his first thought was why the hell he was taking pictures at a wedding. Because it had to be the reason why he was here, during a wedding. He had no friend who’d invite him. His thoughts went towards Erin but surely she wouldn’t have found someone she’d want to marry. She could barely find someone she’d want to sleep with and ask it without turning invisible and running away. His cousins were his second choice but he pushed that idea away too. So he had to be here for pictures. Only he was not doing that. He wanted to be a fashion photographer, not that.
He had a really good sight of the whole thing though. Right up front. He could even see the priest, smiling to the people gathered. They really wanted good pictures and did not trust a zoom, because he was very close. Yes, very close... Oh no.
He looked around him. He was not holding a camera in his hand but a guy’s hand. He removed his hand quickly, as though disgusted, although if he was, it was more with what was going on than because he held a guy’s hand. Wait. It had to be a joke. Didn't they know his friends were the gay ones, not him? He was totally into girls. Like that one he was seeing in line with yet another guy. Just how many people were getting married today? And who was he supposed to be married to, the guy or all of them?
“You may now kiss.”
No ‘the bride’, ‘the spouse’ or whatever term they must be using in gay weddings. Just kiss. Well shit. “This has to be a nightmare.”

“I now declare you married under the eyes of God and the law.”
Like a cracking whip, Chris suddenly came to his senses when he heard those words. He didn’t remember watching a movie about romance. Hell he didn’t even remember falling asleep. Only he definitely wasn’t in his room, and he definitely wasn’t lying down. He blinked and looked around.
”What. The. Fuck?”
From what he could tell, he was at a wedding. Not only that, but he was the one getting married along with some others. Chris looked across just in time to see Quinn pull his hands away in slight disgust. The feeling was mutual as Chris retracted his hands swiftly. He was scowling as he took in the whole scene. He had no idea if he’d married the one guy or all three. He also still had no idea how he’d gotten there, but he knew he wanted to leave.
“You may now kiss.”
Chris scowled and looked around at the others standing by the altar. He shook his head and took a step back.
Oh my. Oh no. Oh my. People already thought he was gay enough like that, he now had to be married to a guy!? Hell no! Erin was the gay one in the group, not him! Who did that guy thought he was to trick him into marrying him? Quinn wouldn’t even want to be the photographer at his wedding, even if he was paid a fortune. Okay, Quinn might be over reacting. Well, his thoughts were anyway. Because he physically remained as stoic as he always did. Why change the only thing that made sense in here, right?
The guy didn't seem any happier than he was about this so the question could be asked then, how come they were marrying one another? Was it a lost bet, did he got drugged and suddenly snapped out of it? Drugs had to be involved, or a lot of alcohol, for him to be in this situation. Although he didn’t feel like he was drunk. But he never really drank to that point so he couldn’t say if you knew you were drunk when you were drunk. He knew that even if he was drunk he didn't want to marry. Except he apparently was married now, since the priest said so.
The other guy was as disgusted as Quinn was. “Like I want it more than you,” he replied on the defensive when he said he didn't want to kiss. The way he said it though was rather insulting, even if he didn't want to hear the guy wanted to kiss him in the first place. There was a way to say it better than that, no? “You didn't ask if someone objected to this wedding. I object,” Quinn said to the priest. He didn’t know if he said it or no but he was ready to use every excuse possible to get out of this jam. Oh, what would Erin say about this?
