Meet a 'darling' I like to call CLARICE, better known a CLAIRE to the working body of Bellefonte Academy. Clarice here is a rather special kind of woman. She's loud, brash, and curses like only a sailor would. She likes to get a reaction out of people and will say nearly anything just to see how people might react to it. She's the biology teacher of the school, as well as one of it's ever-so-delightful trainers. She aids in Energy Training, being something of, well, an energy being herself. She's not actually too fond of children, and by children she pretty much means anyone too young to get into a bar in the states without lying. So, if she doesn't like these 'kids', why become a teacher or a trainer even? Because, though she doesn't often like them, she sympathizes with them. You see, when Claire was younger, her powers just starting to manifest, her family disowned her. She was a freak of nature, something that didn't belong in this world. And she knows that there are a lot of people out there, people just now starting to really learn the existence of mutants, that feel the same way her parents had about her. She hates that, hates how people can hate a person because they have something they don't. And it is for that exact reason that she would rather spend the rest of her life helping these poor students get a grasp of their powers and teach them a little something rather than just turn a blind eye to them and be gone from the school's radar.
Clarice sure could use a few good FRIENDS around to have some fun with. She's a party girl who likes to drink, flirt, and above all, have fun. But having fun isn't exactly all that fun when you're doing it by yourself, now is it? She isn't too likely to make friends with the students but that doesn't mean that it can't happen. It could be pretty interesting to see what kind of student it would take for her to actually not feel the need to force a pleasant disposition around.
As said before, ENEMIES are always welcome. And it'll probably be easy for her to make enemies. After all, she does like to try and get reactions out of people. But not only that, she likes scaring people and playing pranks. It's easy to play a good prank on someone when you can't be seen, after all. She doesn't always know when she's taken it too far, though, which can cause plenty of people to not like her. She's generally pretty nonchalant about people not liking her though when she doesn't like someone, she makes sure to make it blatantly obvious.
ROMANCE would be fun. I never saw her as one for actually delving into a romantic situation but that doesn't make it impossible. She's a shameless flirt, for the most part, but she tends to not do anything but that. Except for maybe when she's drunk, but that's a completely different story.
And, as stated before, OTHER RELATIONSHIPS are more than welcome. Given the right circumstances, I'm sure there might even be a student in the school she'd act like a protective older sister towards. She's always told people she was an orphan due to her familial circumstances but I see her having always wanted to be someone's older sister. I might also be putting up a wanted ad for her for a younger sibling on her real father's side, though I haven't quite figured that out yet. Anyhoo~ not all relationships fit in with the three main groups so, you know, feel free to throw other plot ideas my way!
