Yet another week of endless days of school was about to start and Lucy hadn't really had the time to quite enjoy the weekend the way she'd hoped. Instead, the brunette had been busy getting caught up on homework and her dancing assignment. She'd just finished rehearsing a few minutes ago and to give herself some time to relax, she'd decided to take a stroll through the school.
It seemed rather empty and she assumed most people were either in their dorms or somewhere else, getting the most out of their sunday.
She, however, did not.
She hadn't really expected to meet anyone, so you could imagine her surprise when she rounded the corner and almost crashed into another fellow student. Taking two steps to the side, the power mimic regained her balance, a little thrown off at the unfamiliar power hanging in the air. She hadn't sensed anything like it in quite some time. Maybe she'd gotten too used to all the kinetic powers milling about the dancing rooms.
"Woah there," she let out, blue eyes turning towards the male who looked about twelve. "Ain't you a little younging to be out here by yourself?"

Christopher had been studying indoors all day long, the usual thing he did most weekends, more so not because he didn't have anything else to do, learning was just something that intrigued him. With that said though, even he needs a break every so often. So, with that in mind, Chris was up and walking around the school, giving his legs a chance to stretch a little bit as well as debating whether or not it was time for some food. All this thinking going on, it's safe to say Christopher was not really paying much attention as well as he should have been while walking around...
Christopher jumped a touch as someone spoke rather loudly right next to him, "Me?" The boy scoffed, "Yeah, and if you can help me, I can't seem to find my mommy." He said sarcastically sadly.. despite the comment tickling his nerves, it wasn't as if this was the first person to say such a thing to him so he wasn't totally taken back by this girl, if anything he was surprised she was still at school, she seemed more the type of person to be out at some party or getting ready for one...
Whatever though, that wasn't his business what she did in her free time and while the brunette was cute looking, it wasn't the best starting impression he had had. "Oh and then after helping me, my mommy could get some food for us if you wanted some.." He said looking at the other girl.
The boy's reply had Lucy grinning from ear to ear, much similar to the Chesire Cat. She always enjoyed people with a little spunk, regardless of their ages. "Aw, you poor boo-boo," she cooed, her voice laced with as much sarcasm as she could possibly muster. The grin was still very much plastered on her lips, though. "I'm sure she wouldn't leave-- well, you're kind of a little shit, so I guess it's entirely possible." She had to shrug innocently at that.
"That depends; is it homemade? Because I for one, am sick of this shitty cafeteria food and would love some real food for a change." She didn't care whether the boy was serious or not, because her words still rang through. The cafeteria food was absolutely nothing compared to real nice home made meal.
Not that Lucy was used to one, with the mother she'd grown up with, but the point still stood one way or another.

Christopher rolled his eyes a bit as she called him a poor boo-boo. "I know.. I miss her terribly." he spoke after, sounding about as emotionless as a rock. Chris feel against the wall, hand in his chest as he gasped, "Oh m-my feelings... Y-you hurt them." he spoke in a whiny and completely sarcastic tone, making sure he was sarcastic enough to ensure there was no doubt he didn't really care.
"It could be homemade, how well can you read a recipe book/cook?" Chris asked, looking at her with an eyebrow raised. Honestly, originally it was just a question, but after saying it it occurred to the brown-eyed boy that he couple have been poking fun at the fact she was in school on a Sunday.
Chris scratched the side of his head. He wasn't really much of a cook, so making food himself wasn't really his first choice when it came to getting food but he could do it if needed or if he wanted to.

The boy had Lucy rolling her eyes; He was a champ for taking her insults the way he did, of course, but it was just annoying. It also seemed rather pointless, but then again, it was his own time he was wasting.
"I'm a shitty cook," she told him point blank. There was little else to add to the statement.
She then crossed her arms expectantly; he asked for a reason, no? If he honestly thought there would come more from this, she'd simply laugh in his face. If he had something he needed done, he could do it on his own. He was capable of that much, she was sure. Although, it wouldn't be the first time someone proved themselves completely and utterly worthless.
