Robert James Wilkes
FACE CLAIM: Alex Pettyfer
---------------------------------
AGE: 21
GENDER: Male
ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
POSITION: College Student
POWER: Terrakinesis
Robbie has the ability to manipulate earth and it’s elements. He is able to shape minerals derived from earth and use them as projectiles or shields. He also has the ability to easily burrow through earth for up to one hour before he loses energy. When he first manifested, his abilities were strongly tied to his emotions. Training has given him control over it and has lessened the connection with time.
LIMITATIONS:
He can only manipulate existing earthen materials and not create them
He has to be close to the element to manipulate it
He can only manipulate what he can see, nothing beyond that
He cannot create major earthquakes, just enough to crack the surface over a fifty yard radius
He cannot grow trees overnight, just able to manipulate the soil to make it grow faster over time
He cannot make barren lands fertile
SIDE-EFFECTS:
He always smells earthy
His hands are always dusty
He’s prone to dry skin, rashes and irritation
He needs more showers than normal, using special soaps and lotions
Overusing his abilities causes head-splitting migraines that can knock him out cold
If he’s indoors for too long, it will make him lose energy faster
HEIGHT: 5'11"
HAIR COLOR: Dirty blonde
EYE COLOR: Blue
MISC: Various tattoos on his chest, right shoulder and the back of his left hand
PERSONALITY: Uninhibited, flirtatious, gregarious, impulsive, suave and completely dense. There are more adjectives to describe Robbie and it would require a thesaurus and a dictionary, both of which he actually knows cover to cover.
Robbie Wilkes grew up an inquisitive and intelligent boy but somewhere along the years, he realised that knowledge wasn’t important when you literally had the world quivering in your hand. He found the allure of his female peers a little too early in his years and found that it was easy to charm them as long as you knew the right words. And Robbie knew the right words.
But despite his carefree persona, Robbie is somewhat a very careful person. In contrast to his uninhibited nature, he tries to keep his emotions in check lest he hurts someone again with the wrong wave of a hand.
He has a fear of rejection that stems from his childhood, which to this day no one really knows about because he’s become quite adept at hiding his true emotions. In spite of this, he remains enthusiastic about making new friends, although the only real connection he has is with his significant other.

Odessa ‘Desi’ Wilkes - 10 year old sister
Meredith Wilkes - 7 years old sister
WORTHY MENTIONS: Danicca Waylan - Girlfriend

CHILDHOOD: Agnes Carter-Wilkes knew right away that her baby boy was special.
How special, she had no clue but over the years, Robbie’s growth was accelerated. By 7 months old, he was already walking steadily. By thirteen months old, he could speak fluently and by three years old, he could read the dictionary, use some of the words in a sentence and Agnes never worried about him colouring out of the lines. If only his specialness stopped there.
When Harrison was posted back home, he was so proud of Robbie's accomplishment that he set the boy up in a private school for the gifted. Sadly, Robbie's gifts were not of the academic persuasion. But as he continued on his stay at the academy, he lived the life of a normal adolescent but slowly his academic pursuit dwindled when his attentions were averted to his female peers. He tried to maintain his average scores but soon he felt that it didn't do him any good so he started to get into all sorts of trouble. He got into fights, he spoke out of turn in class and he started failing his subjects on purpose.
ADOLESCENCE: A couple of days after his thirteenth birthday, Agnes was called to the academy with upsetting news. Robbie's classmate was in the hospital and Robbie was the only one around him at the time of the incident. Evidence pointed to the fact that the ground where the boy was lying on was cracked right up to the tree that was upended and split in half. Luckily the boy was not badly injured. No one could explain or even prove that it was Robbie and even he didn't know what had happened. But as a precaution, the academy asked Robbie's parents to send him back home.
Since then, Agnes and Harrison were wary around Robbie and not knowing what to do with him, they set up a bunch of appointments for him with different professionals.
None of the doctors could see anything wrong with him because he was in all essence a perfectly healthy boy. They were already desperate for answers so they took him to see someone they had had doubts over and sure enough, he knew exactly what was going on. It didn’t take too long for Robbie to pack and leave for Bellefonte Academy, just two weeks after his birthday. It kind of helped that his parents threw everything he needed into a huge suitcase and pushed him out of the door.
It was a rough year for Robbie when he first arrived at Bellefonte with no one to talk to and his family not even writing or asking for him. He threw himself into his training for the first few months until he made a friend with a senior who was just as awkward as he was. The older boy taught him not to feel any smaller than his stature suggested and gave him his confidence back. Slowly but surely, the old Robbie came back.
He didn’t get close to anyone in particular, mostly because he knows the implications, given his power situation. But he's friendly enough to everyone he meets and doesn't assume the worst of anyone so if he did have any enemies, he doesn't know who. He figures as long as no one creates any problems with him, he's in a safe place in Bellefonte.
But now, every time he goes back home, with the constant apprehension that his family wouldn’t be there, he can see the fear in his parents eyes even though they try their hardest to treat him like nothing happened.
ADULTHOOD: The most significant thing that happened in his senior year was falling in love with his now girlfriend. It was hard at first because his powers were still tied to his emotions and he did try to fight it in the beginning but Dani managed to break down his defenses and she started helping him with his control.
Because of her, Robbie graduated both his academics and training at the same time and he is now interning to be a trainer at Bellefonte while attending college classes.
