Her estate was within delivery range of a Chinese takeout, a Japanese takeout, and a pizza place. And she had a feeling that Lupe hadn't had any of them. A fact that she planned to remedy. Definitely pizza first. If someone had never had pizza, it was a travesty. So she'd phoned in for a couple of pizzas, a cheese and all meat pizza, and a deluxe with black olives. Something she thought Lupe might like, and something she'd like. And then they could eat the leftovers afterwards and she wouldn't have to cook. That was definitely a bonus. Now, for the movie part of the movie night. She had no idea what kind of movie Lupe would enjoy. A documentary would probably be enjoyed by her, but Cassidy wanted something she herself could enjoy too. Plus, Lupe absorbed anything she watched. With an impressionable mind like that, Cassie didn't exactly want to put a horror movie in front of the wolf-girl. A romantic comedy would probably be okay, but she wasn't sure if Lupe would just think she was silly. She had a couple of romantic comedies that also had action in them though. Maybe Mr and Mrs Smith? But then if she introduced a les wolf-girl to Angelina Jolie, would that make Cassie pale in comparison? She sighed.
"Too many decisions for me." She sat down on the couch and smiled though. She wasn't sure where Lupe was. Probably somewhere in the house, but it was a big house to be fair. She didn't need to keep tabs on her girlfriend at all times. That would be ridiculous and clingy. And also not Cassie's style, even if she loved her mate.

Oddly enough, Lupe was showering. Admittedly she had hated it when she first came to Bellefonte and even before that many years ago. However gradually it was starting to grow on her- which only managed to irk her a little. Still, She mainly cleaned herself for Cassie's sake and because she had started to really enjoy the hot water. She was usually used to cold water way back when she was with her original pack. This felt admittedly...better. However in no way would she admit that at all. Getting the wolf girl to admit she liked anything human was harder than pulling teeth.
Unless of course you were her mate. Then it was as easy as could be. As Lupe got out of the shower and dried off, she wondered how her mate was doing. After finding something to wear, Lupe headed downstairs and soon found her mate on the couch talking to herself. She walked up to Cassie from behind and draped her arms around her, nuzzling into her mate fondly. "My mate." She said with a smile. "What are we doing this time?" She knew Cassie had something planned, but not exactly what.

When her mate came up behind her and draped her arms around her, Cassie smiled. This kind of casual love meant more to her than any grand gesture she could ever receive. She took note of the fact that Lupe must've just had a shower. She was nice and clean and Cassie just closed her eyes for a moment to soak in the love of the moment. She heard the words of the question and she grinned.
"Well I have dinner ordered so there will be a guy coming to the door sooner or later. And I thought we could watch a movie while we ate it. I'm just not sure what kind of movie you'd like to watch. I have a bunch of them in the cases under the TV, or we could go through Netflix and find one. I just don't really know what you like where they're concerned." She smiled, just content in the moment for now.

There was a moment where neither of them really said anything. Lupe didn't mind, instead using the moment to nuzzle into Cassie's neck and just bask in the presence of her mate. Part of Lupe did agree with Ashley from their talk. It was ironic it was a human Lupe chose as her mate. Yet when she was with Cassie, she was content. No, not just content- Happy. An expression she would've never thought she'd use considering she still had to deal with humans on a daily basis. Yet here she was, remaining when she could've easily gone free whenever she choose. Willingly staying despite everything. All because of her pack, but mainly her mate. They even had a den now.
That brought a rare soft smile to Lupe's face as she kissed her mate on the side of her neck and listened. Food was coming and Cassie wanted to watch something. She wasn't sure what Lupe would want to see. That made Lupe contemplate things. She'd never much been into 'movies' or whatever they were. Still, Cassie was so Lupe watched them too. She ended up shrugging. "Whatever you want. I don't know much about these. I trust you." it was true. She knew Cassie would think of her while choosing. That alone made anything she picked alright in her eyes.

She felt Lupe nuzzle into her neck and smiled gently. When Lupe said whatever was fine, Cassie gave a small sigh. It wasn't quite a sigh of relief, but it wasn't exasperated either. It was more like resignation. Only a small bit. She had to basically go eenie meenie miney moe after all. She stood up and put Mr and Mrs Smith in the machine before sitting back down.
"This one should be good. It's kind of funny, but it has action too." Then she heard the doorbell. Amaroq ran at it and barked and Cassie laughed, standing up and going over to the door. She patted the pup on the head before opening up the door to the pizza delivery man.
"Thank you." She paid for it quickly, leaving a nice tip before taking the pizzas and bringing them inside, shutting the door with her foot. Cassie put them down on the coffee table and smiled. She'd already gotten a pitcher of water out so drinks were handled. There was a bottle of Pepsi too, but she didn't know if Lupe would drink that. She certainly did so that was fine.
"Dig in. This place is pretty good I went there the other day and had some."

Lupe could tell the sigh was neither relief nor annoyance, although she was still a little concerned she might've done something wrong. However when Cassie moved to the tv and came back, she saw no anger in her body language or in her expression. So then it was Lupe herself who gave out a small sigh of relief before moving around to sit on the couch. However then her head whipped around when she heard Amaroq bark, instincts kicking in already. Cassie's laugh helped ease her reaction so Lupe finally sat down and watched her mate return. "Funny but with action? What's this one about?" She questioned but soon trailed off.
The smell of the pizza was overwhelming to her senses and she stared at the box. She didn't need to be told twice when Cassie told her to dig in. Instead she was already reaching forward and opening it, staring at the contents before grabbing a piece and unceremoniously ripping it out. She didn't even care too much that it was hot, only offering a small growl before sniffing the pizza slightly and taking a bite.
And once again letting out a tiny whimper of appreciation.
Human food. Truly it's the only thing they've done right. She thought as she ate. Although while she did, she glimpsed at Cassie and reconsidered. ....Alright maybe not the only thing....

Cassie watched as Lupe dug in to the pizza and she heard the whimper and smiled. Then she remembered the question Lupe had asked.
"It's about two people who are spies and they're...mates if I remember right. But they don't know each other are spies. Then they find out when their bosses give them the mission to kill each other. So it is pretty funny." She grinned before reaching over and taking a piece of pizza.
