Head nodding and smile growing, Violet chuckled softly at his reply. "Thank you kindly, sir. I don't want'ta draw too much attention'ta myself. Never liked it much, n' I'm sure you can be tired'a it too" She said, voice soft and sympathetic. Violet could only imagine the levels of pressure Drew had to go through to make him so exhausted like she had seen.
I hope holding that in doesn't hurt him, or better yet he has someone to talk to.
Offer declined, Violet smiled and nodded her head. "Alright. Just wanted'ta give you the option." She replied, tone warm. Ears listening, Violet's smile grew with gladness as he mentioned his wife and son. He had someone to talk to after all. "I'm glad'ta hear it. Your wife seems like a very nice person, n' knows her stuff with runnin' the school." She added, words honest and kind. "Specially with needin'ta take care've her own kid n' all the students."

Drew couldn't help but let out a bit of a chuckle himself. Violet had no idea just how much her words rang true. Attention was never something he'd actively sought out despite the path that had been laid out for him. He hadn't asked to be born into the life he had. Hell, he hadn't even had much of a choice with the direction he'd taken. His life, for the most part, had been meticulously planned from the moment he and his sister had been conceived. Everything he was today had all been someone else's handiwork. "Not many of us are able to change the cards we're dealt." He said prophetically, his eyes, once again turning to look out along the horizon as the sun continued its slow climb into the sky. "It's the hand we're able to make out of it that matters."
A thin smile touched the young man's lips at the talk of his wife. Every time he thought of her Drew still couldn't help but be reminded of the long, arduous and trying path the two of them had taken to get where they were now. Another light chuckle escaped as his gaze lowered to Argos before shifting to Violet. "She's an amazing woman." He said genuinely. "Anyone who could put up with me for the last few years has to be a saint."
