[Nonie Savage]

The girl seemed happy Nonie accepted her gift, but for some reason Nonie just knew something was off. Just the way the girl was looking at her made Nonie feel like it was all part of some game that she didn't know the goal or rules of. Well, part of the rules anyhow. The rules Nonie had lived by all her life were still in play, and if she had to run she would. However the crystal figures had proven a great distraction, mostly from their beauty and the potential money Nonie could get for them. But then the girl had spoken again and Nonie had a feeling it was a trap of some sort.

Now she was offering to either relocate or get Nonie a blanket, both which made Nonie hesitate. Warmth was tempting but the coldness of her fear was keeping her feet planted. Yet the girl was offering to get Nonie a blanket as well. So long as Nonie didn't run of course. Part of her felt bad this girl was giving her all these things. Another, paranoid part of her was suspisious. And another part was happy. "Y-you don't ah.... You don't have to. I mean you've already given me all this." She stated, hefting up the crystal animals. "You don't have to give me anything else!"

[Roxana Strix]

The other girl was indeed a part of some greater plan, but only in the loosest of terms. Roxana thought of many ways she could use the girl, but at the same time she was still debating if she was going to or not. What had to happen first was getting the girl under her wing, which was not something that Rox really did. This was something that her older sister was better at but Roxana wanted to give it a try. She tried to think of how she ended up with Demi under her wing but that was more so because Demi was put there.

In truth, Demi did also choose to short of remain under there but with Demi that whole situation was different then it was with this homeless girl. An odd feeling in Roxana's check popped up for a moment but she ignored it and kept her attention on the girl before her. There were too offers, but Rox was leaving it to the girl to decided. In all honestly there were three, with the third of course to not pick either. Roxana already expected the girl to pick that third option, despite her speaking up that Rox didn't have to leave. The same words as always about not having to leave the other girl's mouth again.

"I know I don't have to. I don't have to do any of this, I choose to." Roxana spoke up, wanting that point to be made clear. However, she was not going to keep pushing it with the girl. This seemed about as far as she was going to get this time around so she was going to let the matter go. There was one last test now that Rox pretty much knew how it was going to end as well. Still, she was going to use it. "It is fine. I will leave you be now, I've bothered and made you uncomfortable long enough. You have a nice day and I hope you obtain something to warm yourself up." Roxana said as she gave a slight bow of her head and turned to start to head off.
