Being asked what she was doing kind of caught her off guard, since what did Zoe think she was doing? She was making a move, one that she probably should not, but she could not really help herself. "I was...good question..." Devyn decided to go with just playing it off then. She didn’t want Zoe to be weird out or freak out on her or anything. Plus again she had never really been asked what she was doing when she was making a move on someone. They kind of just knew. At least I have an answer to if she is a virgin or not. Unless she wanted me to stop. Devyn thought as she went to move her hand away from Zoe's hip, but Zoe took her hand and laced her fingers with Devyn's.

She really is cute. Devyn could not help but to smile a little at the action of Zoe taking her hand. It was really cute and was a mix of innocent and couple like. Granted Devyn had held hands like this with friends, but interlacing fingers was definitely more of a couple things. Now bring questions to Devyn mind that she had a feeling but was not really sure on. Does she like me in that way? Devyn thought, it was kind of a dumb question yes, but just because someone blushed and got all embarrassed when you flirted with them did not automatically mean they liked you. Her green eyes looked away at the look she got from Zoe. Yeah, Zoe was right, she needed to settle down and slow down. Her eyes quickly darted back when she felt her hand move in the direction of Zoe's mouth, watching the other girl closely now.

Her fingers were kissed, even if she only felt it for a small moment before she didn’t feel anything at all. It was still an odd feeling. Like you had been sitting on a limb too long and it feel asleep. A mix of not feeling it and pins and needles. Not that anything was hurting in a super painful way or anything. If anything the kiss was making Devyn's thought just go into thoughts she should not be having if she was trying to slow down. She stated at Zoe for a moment, green eyes looking back at Zoe's brown eyes, then drifting down to look at the other girls lips. Temptation. She was meant to be slowing down. She forced herself to look back over at the movie. At least it was just starting, previews coming to an end. She let out a deep sigh, mainly to calm herself down.

Zoe did actually recognize making a move, though she was, as Devyn suspected, a virgin. She wasn't completely naive, mind; just incredibly worried and edgy. Not helped by the fact that Zoe wanted to be touched, fairly desperately too, but the memory of what happened with Ava still lingered in her mind. Which, of course, fed into a bit of Zoe's guilt, which she wasn't helping by giving Devyn little kisses.

I wonder if she'd actually go out with me....
...probably not; Devyn obviously needs physical affection. She's getting touchy just snuggling with me...
...but what if she would?

Zoe pushed her thoughts aside and focused on the movie. The previews were ending, and music was swelling, which worked to suck Zoe in. She gripped onto Devyn's still numb hand though, still keeping her fingers interlaced with it. She ran her thumb over Devyn's hand, as if trying to work the numbness away, or perhaps wanting the first thing Devyn felt to be a caress. Zoe heard the sigh and she dared a glance behind her, blinking a few times.

"Um," she began, biting her lip and looking away, "do you want me to... move or let go..." Zoe trailed off. She really, really didn't want to, but if she was making Devyn uncomfortable or something. She really needed to learn what all the strange animal noises coming from the other girl meant. She was sure it had something to do with her ability.

Devyn had her eyes on the movie, the previews had ended and it was kicking into the whole opening music and the familiar start to the movie. Devyn really did like the animations done in the movie. The computer graphics where really well done, even the hair of the characters was pretty good. Devyn knowing that in some CG animation the hair was a difficult aspect since sometimes each strand had to be done in order to have the independent and flowing movement. She didn’t really feel the grip to her hand since it was still pretty numb, however she did feel something slightly, and movement on her hand. As if something was rubbing at it. Her hand was still pretty numb so it could have just been a tingling sensation. So even if I did something I would not be able to feel it or move too much. She still feels right? Devyn was thinking to herself, she figured Zoe still had to feel any touch, which was a good thing because it would suck to not be able to have people feel you and not able to feel.

"Hmm?" Devyn really just made more of a sound as her form of a question as she head Zoe's voice. Eyes still looking at the movie for a moment until Zoe started talking about moving or letting go. "That would be unwise for you. If you move away I'll just growl and you and pull you closer." Devyn still spoke in a whisper, a mix between because the movie was playing and because why not. Whispering was fun when you were this close to someone and if you did the right kind of whisper you could send shivers down someone’s spine. With the hand that was still around Zoe, she rubs the other girls back. "Plus you seem pretty comfy and so am I." Devyn said, only able to move the fingers a little that were entwined with Zoe's. Only able to give a really weak squeeze, probably to go unnoticed, but she tried. Looking over at Zoe to let the other girl know everything was alright.

"So you just stay comfy and enjoy the movie, because you are not going anywhere." Devyn's words came out with a slight growl at the end of them. A small thought of licking Zoe crossed her mind. Wondering if she gave Zoe's cheek a quick lick, if her tongue would be so numb that it would just hang out of her mouth or if she be able to keep it in her mouth and just not feel it. She was now also just staring at Zoe as she thought about it. A lick could be innocent. Just a way to gross someone out with germs and what not. Eh, just do it. Devyn thought and went to do because why not? Her curiosity on the matter was not going to go away. Leaning a little closer and going to give Zoe's cheek a really quick lick. Her grip around Zoe tightened a little to keep the other girl from running away. Planning on playing it off like it was nothing and looking back over at the movie. She just hoped that either way Zoe would not squirm and wiggle around, but she really might not be able to take it.

Unwise? Was it bad that Zoe felt kind of warm and fuzzy from that sentiment? She felt her mouth twitching a little, just starting something of a smile. She was actually half tempted to play-wiggle away, if only to feel someone pulling her close again. Instead, she opted to settle into the cuddle. It certainly helped that she could practically feel Devyn's whisper slithering across her skin, giving her little trembles. Stay comfy, don't move, watch the movie, and Zoe was beginning to suspect that the growl might be more a sexy thing than an irritation thing.

Wait, does that mean... am I turning her on? The thought actually made Zoe's eyes widen for a moment. That... that was new. She was used to getting affection to some degree, even admiration, but outright lust? Definitely new, and something that Zoe wouldn't mind. Was there some sort of litmus test to determine how much someone outright wanted you? The thought made Zoe blush and she forced herself to focus on the movie.

Which was, admittedly, distracting. The music was uplifting and Zoe absolutely loved the cinematography, not to mention the artwork itself. She actually manged to get wrapped up fairly quickly, smiling at the sight of the small child and the reindeer. She was, in fact, so absorbed that she didn't see the lick coming. Just felt the tongue slide across her cheek, complete with tightening grip. Devyn definitely didn't need to tighten up, as Zoe just sort of froze, mostly not believing. She did finally have to say something though:

"Did you... did you just lick me?" she asked, twisting a little to get a halfway decent look. She knew that if Devyn had, and that hadn't been some kind of tongue substitute or ghost sensation, then the other's tongue would likely be rather numb, which would actually make any responses kind of interesting to hear. Zoe hadn't exactly numbed someone's tongue before. She was actually a little intrigued to see what the result would be.

Devyn was pleased that Zoe didn’t try to get away from her, because she really would have pulled her right back. Probably as close to her body as she could have her and not even care how Zoe would react to it. Yet Zoe was still and didn’t move around anymore, seeming to get nice and comfy, settling into the movie. It was a pretty good movie; even if Devyn had already seen it she was fine with watching it again. Only real complaint she had about the film was how it felt so rushed. The start didn’t feel too rushed but she knew that after the whole trolls taking away the memories of magic that the film would feel like it was on speed mode. Trying to rush into the main plot of the story and she just felt like it didn’t slow down long enough for it to be full enjoyable. Even still, it was a good movie and it was nice to be snuggled up with someone watching it.

Yes. Zoe had been turning Devyn on. When a very attractive girl who fit into one of your many categories of your 'type' it was bound to happen. Plus Zoe had been wiggling against her, so yeah, that just made it worse. Plus it was night time and Devyn felt more active in the darkness of the night. Probably another thing with her power over shadows. Good thing she was distracted by the movie for the most part so she was settling back to a more not so turned on state. Which was good for Zoe right? However because of the temptation of wanting what it would be like to have a numb tongue, she could not help herself and yes did in fact really did lick Zoe's cheek. Only feeling the others skin for a split second before her tongue went numb. Lucky for her she did not use her full tongue to lick the other girl's cheek so was able to pull her tongue back into her mouth before all of her tongue went numb.

Devyn went to speak, but she could not feel her tongue, could not move it. How did one talk without their tongue, it was key to forming a lot of words. She wanted to say yes, but at the same time just knew it was going to sound weird and could not help herself but to start to laugh and just nod her head yes. I can’t believe I did that. Well I can, but at least I have my question answered. Devyn thought to herself as she still chuckled, going to turn her head the other way and close her mouth so her tongue would not fall out. Oh crap, she could not swallow without the use of her tongue. This meant she could end up drooling, or chocking on her own spit. Lovely. She move to sit up a little bit to prevent that, going to pull an arm away from Zoe so she could wipe at her mouth, still laughing about the whole things.

Zoe had been half-watching Devyn, half-watching the film. It was hard to say which was more enthralling, with the singing and dancing on one hand and Devyn's obvious struggles on the other. There appeared to be some struggling for a moment, at least on Devyn's part, and Zoe had to stifle a giggle. She reached a hand up to cover her mouth, figuring that the last thing Devyn wanted was for Zoe to laugh at her right now. She instead resolved to focus on the movie, which she figured was a safer bet.

However, Deyvn soon shifted, which proved distracting. Zoe was tempted to protest, possibly bringing up the fact that the other girl had been the one insisting on the whole settling in situation as it was. she ended up looking at the other girl to try and see what was going on. There appeared to be some laughing and... drooling? Zoe wasn't sure what to make of that, at least at first. It wasn't like anything in the movie was particularly appetizing. Not knowing what else to do, Zoe reached up and dabbed at Devyn's mouth with her gloves. As soon as she did, however, she seemed to realize what she was doing and froze. She held her hand there for some time, licking her lip, trying to figure out a way of getting out of this without embarrassing herself further.

Devyn would not have minded at all if Zoe had laughed at her, because it was Devyn's own fault that she was having an issue. She had licked Zoe's cheek after all, knowing very well that she was going to end up making her tongue numb. Which was why she could not help but laugh at herself because it really was funny. Funny that she had done something so foolish, knowing it was not going to go very well for her, but she did it anyway. She didn’t have any regrets about it however, because heck she got a good laugh out of it and an answer the question she had. Plus the temptation would have kept bothering her and it was not really bad to lick Zoe, so it was okay to act on the temptation.

Sp not attractive Devyn. Devyn thought to herself as she chuckled, wiping at her mouth again. Drool was so not sexy. Plus just the fact that she was drooling because her tongue was numb was another fail on her part. She never really drooled before, not even in her sleep, it was a rare thing for her. Granted her mouth did water at times from the smell of really good meat being cooked or even just seeing it raw sometimes. Yet she was more likely to have her stomach growl then to drool over seeing something yummy. She felt that dab to her mouth and just felt slightly embarrassed that Zoe was wiping at her mouth. Well, crap. Devyn thought, feeling really less than...well attractive and smooth.

Her green eyes looked at Zoe when she froze in place and licked at her lips. Devyn's tongue still a little numb, but she risked saying something anyways. "Wan-ing oo ki me?" Devyn's words were not very good at all without her tongue, which just made her laugh even more. This was just too funny to her oddly enough. Even if she was feeling a mix of embarrassment, but at the same time she didn’t mind. Kept her humble you could say. She was not even sure if Zoe had managed to understand what she said, so she just kissed the glove that was close to her mouth and smirked.

Zoe was a little surprised to see what looked like embarrassment on Devyn's features. Well, she supposed it probably had to do with the tongue numbing, specifically on how it happened to be more or less Devyn's fault. The look did help lessen some of Zoe's own embarrassment, even restoring that hint of a smile she'd been nursing most of the night. That hint turned into an outright giggle as Devyn attempted actual speech.  Zoe slapped her hands over her mouth at that, flushing again as she realized it.

Or, to be more accurate, she slapped one hand over her mouth, because the other was being lifted toward Devyn's. Zoe found her heart fluttering as the other girl's lips touched her gloved hand. And Zoe had thought that she wanted to kiss Devyn before; now she could hardly think of anything she wanted to do more. She stared at Devyn, her lips moving for a bit. She eventually licked them. The other girl couldn't move her tongue, so maybe paralyzing the rest of her mouth wouldn't be so bad? No, no, Zoe couldn't give into the temptation. She couldn't help but be worried that if she started, she wouldn't want to stop.

"we have a movie to watch,' she mumbled, flushing. She shifted to try and see. She also made sure to adjust so she was still in Devyn's arms, even moving to once again lace her fingers through Devyn's. She didn't want it to look like a rejection, after all, more of a... realization. Or a reminding, depending on how you looked at it.

She didn’t mind Zoe's giggle at all. It was cute after all and it was good to know that Zoe did have a sense of humor. It was important to have a good laugh here and there. Not laughter was boring and having no fun was also boring. It would have been different if something else had caused Devyn's numb tongue and Zoe laughed at her. However again this had been Devyn's fault, and yes she felt horribly embarrassed and not appealing at all. Which at least took away he turned on mood, replaced with the giggles and slight scolding to herself. More so to make sure she would not do it again, because Devyn was that type of kid that would burn her hand on the stove and if she had not burned herself bad enough, she try to touch the stove again unless she was given a good scolding by someone or herself.

Devyn had been looking at Zoe the whole time, noticing the lip movement and Zoe licking her lips again. Was she hungry, thirsty, or was she thinking about naughty things? Well naughty was a relative word, since she didn’t know what Zoe was thinking and it could have been something simple and innocent. She blinked and tilted her head to the side a little, wondering what Zoe was thinking about and why the girl seemed to be quick to do something else. Holding herself back? Or I'm just looking to deeply into things? Devyn asked herself and then kind of stared at Zoe saying they had a movie to watch. Well that was true, but Zoe having pointed it out, well...Devyn didn’t know how she felt. She got over whatever neutral feeling she had as Zoe moved to get comfy back in her arms and took her hand. She seemed to really like holding Devyn's hand, which was fine with Devyn.

"Righ...orry." Devyn's words came out a little better as she started to slowly feel her tongue again. Laying back down when she was able to swallow properly again. Moving to get comfortable again. Fixing the position of the Portable DVD Player and going silent. Looking at the movie, but half checked out. Watching it, but not watching it. Mind distracted with other thoughts slightly.

"It's okay," mumbled Zoe, a little dreamily, "I kind of liked it," the last was one of those little phrases that seemed to pop out of Zoe's mouth without her thinking about it. She flushed at the realization that it had come and sort of snuggled a little more fiercely into Devyn. She wrapped her fingers about Devyn's thoroughly enjoying what she thought of as a safer touch. Then, figuring that maybe she could be perhaps a little more reassuring/suggestive, Zoe moved the arm to sort of better encircle her. Then, feeling a little bolder still, she grabbed the other arm and made sure that it was holding her. This felt tremendously good to Zoe, and she leaned back against Devyn, again resting her head onto the shoulder.

And thus positioned, Zoe could watch the film, which was getting better and better. She loved the snowman song, giggling at a few points, her eyes widening at others. And soon after that would be a scene involving the awkward girl, who most certainly reminded Zoe of herself, if a little more outgoing. She certainly liked to think that she looked at least that cute. She wrinkled up her nose and thought about it, half tempted to outright ask Devyn. That felt a little like compliment fishing though, and Devyn had been most complimentary as it was.

oooh, more songs, Zoe was really starting to like this. It seemed like there was a song every few minutes!

Devyn started to chew on her tongue when she started to feel it a little better, able to feel the fact that she was chewing on it. Meaning she was getting feeling back, but she had to be careful not to bite her tongue to hard, since it was hard to gauge how hard she was biting and it could damage her tongue. "You did huh?" Devyn asked in a slight teasing manner, words coming out slightly clearer now. An eyebrow rising a little at how Zoe seemed to snuggle into her a little more. Heck if she snuggles me any fiercer, she might merge with me. The thought made Devyn give a small snicker, oh that was still a naughty thought. She was still half out of it however, but feeling Zoe movements and that her arm was now even more around Zoe.

She was going to have to move soon and end up knocking the player over at this rate, or pull Zoe to be slightly on top of her. Which was not a bad idea, but would Zoe be able to handle it. She was practically already on top of her. All she really had to do was put her leg over her, but that would knock the player over and even with Zoe's movement she seemed to be really into the movie. She let Zoe move her as she pleased and by the time Zoe settled still she really was holding the other girl, making her smile a little and chuckle slightly. Zoe was just too cute. “Fully comfy now?” Devyn asked in a whispered tone still before going silent. Zoe really was fighting herself a little to keep herself from doing anything naughty to Zoe. Plus Zoe seemed to really be into the movie. Devyn more or less not even looking at the movie and had her green eyes on Zoe. Watching the other girl, enjoying seeing how she was reacting to the scenes and how she just seemed to be having a good time.

Good. Devyn thought to herself since that had been Devyn's main goal the whole time. She wanted to see Zoe smile. For the other girl to seem more relaxed and not so worried about her power. To be for a moment just like any other girl. Not worried about hurting someone with her touch and just enjoying the moment as it was. She was being held, watching a pretty good movie, and was safe; because Devyn was not going to let anything happen to someone she was around. Plus Zoe was her friend and she looked after her friends. She still had not become possessive over Zoe yet, which was good for the other girl, right? Devyn still watched Zoe for a moment before closing her eyes, not falling asleep, but did appear to be asleep. She was just comfy and was listening to Zoe's heart beat and her breathing. It was relaxing and Devyn enjoyed just hearing the living being next to her.

Zoe looked up at Devyn at the comment, smiling broader than she had in ages, "Yes," she said, her voice at normal human volume for at least that one word. There was a lot loaded into that: a realization that this was because of Devyn, an acknowledgement of just how comfortable and safe Zoe felt, an expression of affection toward the other girl, and a contentment with the situation that went far above being just flat comfortable. Zoe hadn't felt this good since that fateful day her lips had touched her step-sister's. And now she had a Disney movie to watch.

In fact, the movie was working its magic over Zoe, almost too well. There was a girl, not Ana, whom Zoe had initally felt drawn to, but the other, Elsa. Elsa couldn't touch people. She had to wear gloves. Her body was covered up almost entirely, everything suppressed. Zoe actually found herself staring intently at the film, not quite believing this. The character was reserved, not really shy, not goofy like Ana, like Zoe had originally thought of herself, but paranoid about her power. She didn't let her sister touch her. Got upset, then lost control. A girl with a power that meant she couldn't touch people, that meant she had to get tangled up, with a special relationship to a sister. Zoe literally could not believe this.

It is at this point that it should be mentioned that Zoe did not really spend much time on the internet. Unlike those likely reading this or writing it, she was not someone who was aware of internet trends or things of that nature. She had briefly heard something about a song, a specific one in this film, that had gathered a lot of attention, but she'd never actually experienced it. This was a girl who had been too wrapped up in her life to notice something like a Disney song, regardless of how major it was, regardless of how many people had heard it before. She'd never heard "Let It Go" or any imitations of it, not ever, not before now. And this was a girl who felt so connected to the character, to Elsa's situation, that she practically projected herself on the screen.

So Zoe grew as enthralled as possible, though not forgetting Devyn. Instead, her hands clenched tight on Devyn's, definitely noticeably so. She even tugged a little, wanting Devyn to very much be a part of this moment, maybe not the song, but Zoe's experience of the song. Zoe knew that this was Devyn's to credit, and she wanted to make sure the other girl realized it, at least on some level.

Devyn had seen many Disney movies since she was a kid and again had already seen the film once. She was not sure which of all the Disney movies out there was her favorite. Or which one she could relate to, she never thought about it before. Movies were for distracting her away from things or just being background noise well she was in thought. Which was what the movie was being right now. Just background noise as she thought about a lot of things. What she was going to eat later one, if she should leave the soda and snack here with Zoe? Was she going to stay the night and just sleep in Zoe's bed with her? Would Zoe even allow her to sleep in the bed? So many question whirling through her head and she answered a few of them, coming up with different reason and she was fine with most of them.

The movie was about...what two hours or so. She had come over around eight, but there had been that time spent doing other things before they started the movie. So she wanted to guess by the time everything was all done with the movie it is around ten or eleven at night...possibly. She was seventeen years old, what time was her curfew again? Not that it really mattered because Devyn had stayed out past curfew many times and was pretty good at not getting caught. It only mattered in the ways of how she was going to have to travel. If she did not end up just sleeping over she was going to have to take the window to avoid getting caught. She was use to taking the window route after all and would not mind at all. She would hopeful avoid getting caught that way and get her last bit of exercise in for the night.

"Hmm?" Devyn made the sound again of wondering what it was Zoe wanted when she felt her hand basically being squeezed. Her green eyes opening and looking at the hand that had hers clinched, and then over to Zoe's face. She even felt the tug, making her look over to the movie wondering if she had zoned out so long that the movie was near the end and at a sad part. However it was at the 'Let It Go" song. It took Devyn a moment before it clicked. Zoe had picked the perfect movie for them to watch. Sure Devyn had brought it but Zoe had picked it for what they were going to watch. The movie fit so well with Zoe when Devyn thought about it. A power covered by gloves, worried to touch people because you didn’t want to hurt them, and the whole running away part.

Devyn looked at the film for a moment before looking back at Zoe and gave the girl's hand a squeeze back. Just letting Zoe know that she was still here and not going anywhere. They still had a movie to watch and Devyn's other goal from the very beginning was to watch a movie with Zoe, so that’s what they were going to do. Devyn didn’t say anything; it would be rude to talk during the movie, even more so with how into it Zoe had been. Wonder if Zoe will be able to just let it all go too someday. Devyn thought to herself, still looking at Zoe and then back over to the movie, keeping her arms around Zoe and tightened her hold just a little more around the other girl.

It took Zoe a few moments to really realize that she'd gotten Devyn's attention. It didn't help that the song was absolutely mesmerizing. The lyrics, the singing, even the animation, it all just fit together so perfectly. It didn't take Zoe long to determine that she was going to be watching this movie quite a few times, or at least this scene, at least until she memorized it. She found herself repeating key lyrics as the song cycled around to the back. This was just too cool, and even better: Zoe got to share it with Devyn.

Confirming that was a squeeze back, which brought another broad smile onto Zoe's face. The song was finally winding down, which meant that Zoe was winding down. In this case, this meant snuggling back into Devyn. The movie was moving onto another part, with the Ana deciding on finding her sister and all. And without even thinking about what she was saying, Zoe spoke: "I wonder if Ava went looking for me."

It just sort of came out, with a light voice, a query, and not something that Zoe would have said if she were really thinking about it. She flushed a little, biting her lip and sort of hoping that it would just go over. She really didn't want to have to explain all that to Devyn, at least, not right now. She wanted to hold onto this situation, to this moment, and sort of hold onto it. Plus, she sort of wanted to see the movie too, and she had a feeling that the Ava discussion would override that. It was one of those discussions, to be certain.

Devyn just smiled at seeing how into the film Zoe was, it was very cute and it was just interesting to see someone so into a movie. There were few movies where she felt on the edge of her seat or really into it. Yet she was not easily impressed all the time so that might have been why. Either way Zoe was into it which was why Devyn still kept her eyes mostly on the other girl. She was just going to have to leave the Portable DVD Player here and Frozen just for Zoe for a while. At least a week so the other girl could watch the film a few more times if she really wished to. Not like Devyn was going to need the movie or her Portable DVD Player anytime soon. She didn’t use it too often unless she was having an issue with sleeping or she was going to hang out with Kitty.

The smile was just to die for, and she just hugged Zoe a little, well she was already kind of hugging her with her being already so close and in her arms. Zoe seemed to start to settle down and so did Devyn, feeling pretty comfortable. Her eyes starting to drift closed now until Zoe spoke. Who was this Ava? A person from Zoe's past clearly, but what were they to Zoe? Had to be someone important, had to be related to the scene playing in the movie at the moment. She looked at Zoe for a moment and opened her mouth to say something, but didn’t. What could she say? What should she say? The movie was still playing and Zoe seemed to have gone back to looking at the movie. So she was going to drop it, for now. She closed her guys again and pulled Zoe as close to her as she could, leaving no more space between their bodies, well besides their heads because can’t touch skin to skin and all.

"I'm staying the night." Devyn said, no she was not asking, she was telling Zoe. Zoe didn’t have a choice. Devyn had gotten pretty comfy and was content where she was laying, so there was no way she was going to move. She let out a small yawn, not yet sleeping but she was getting there. Zoe could do as she liked really. She could watch the whole movie as many times as she liked. Stop it and go to sleep with her. Or even just protest about Devyn staying the night in her bed with her. Either way, Devyn was not going to move, she was not going to let go of Zoe, and she was going to go to sleep right here.
