Logan Diacha
Face Claim: Noomi Rapace
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Orientation: Demisexual, bordering on asexual
Position: College Student
Power: Electricity Storage and Manipulation.
Logan has the ability to conduct electricity and store it within herself, and also send the electricity out through touch. Her bones are made of a unique material mixed that makes it naturally conductive and attract electrons in the air and from other charged things nearby. Once they get inside, her skin acts as a sort of natural insulator and she essentially becomes a capacitor. This storage ability can’t actually be turned off, but she can focus to absorb electricity directly from charged items through touch. She can also manipulate the electricity within her to exit her through touch, shocking others or powering things up by basically using her bones and nerves like wires.
If she absorbs enough electricity without draining it, eventually Logan will become Overcharged. In this state, she is not only deadly to others but herself as well. When Logan is overcharged, her body has absorbed too much electricity and her skin cannot insulate the current any longer. Arcs of electricity will leave Logan’s body in bursts, burning spots on her skin and also burning her insides up. These little arcs of lightening can harm others as well if they’re close enough to her, and she doesn’t even need to touch a person at that point to shock someone. Just being in a close vicinity to her is enough for a person to get hurt. While she is Overcharged, she does have a burst of surprising energy. She also holds about enough voltage to easily kill five humans and leave their bodies completely burnt to a crisp.
Limitations and Side Effects:
Logan’s constantly charging, and it normally takes her four hours to become Overcharged if she doesn’t channel electricity out or consciously absorb electricity in. This causes her to wake up at night and requires her to completely drain herself if she is to continue sleeping.
Logan’s own energy is effected by how much electricity she has in her. If she has a higher amount of voltage (closer to being overcharged) she is energetic. If she completely drains herself, she is fatigued and usually irritable. As such, she normally balances herself out during the day by draining some of her electricity into drained objects or other electrical devices. However, she can’t in her sleep.
Logan can only channel her electricity out through touch. She can’t fling the electricity from herself.
Due to her bones' strange composition, they are stronger than average.
While Logan does have some resistance to electricity (most of it being internal), she can be injured and killed by large amounts of it. She can absorb some electricity if it hits her, but if she’s Overcharged she can’t absorb much, if any, before getting hurt or killed.
While Logan normally doesn’t have too much trouble with water or accidentally shocking people, it’s different if she has a deep cut- especially if it manages to reach her bones. Then it requires her focus to keep the electricity in. Shallower cuts don’t pose as much of a problem, considering there is still some layer of skin.
Her ability relies on her physical shape in a way for her to control it. The tougher she gets, the better insulated she basically becomes. It also increases the control she has over her electricity within her, and how well and fast she can channel it in or out of her body.
A man enters into a small room set up for an interview. A camera was set up to record the interactions between him and the other individual seated on one of the chairs It’s a girl who looks 5'8 with a bored expression about her admittedly gorgeous face. Several piercings dot her here and there, and her hair is pitch black and styled. She glances at him lazily as he enters, disinterested as she toyed with a large battery in her hands. She’s clad in dark clothing with a leather jacket, sitting boredly with her legs crossed in the chair. The man turns the camera on as he sits, and shifts into a comfortable position.
Please state your name.
“Logan Diacha.” The girl answers with an equally bored tone as her expression portrays.
Age?
“20”
Ability?
“Electricity Storage and Manipulation.” The man nods as he glances down at a paper. He inhales slightly, as if preparing himself.
Alright. So do you know why you were admitted into the school?
“To become the leader of the X-Men.” It’s said drily, without missing a beat, and the man frowns, looking up at her sharply. She smirks very faintly at that before the expression drops back to neutral. “Because I’m a mutant with an ability that I need to learn to control so I don’t hurt anyone else without meaning to.”
Yes. And how has your practicing been going?
“Swimmingly.”
…Right. So tell me about yourself. Before you came to the academy.
She stares at him for a few moments before sighing quietly. "Well I was born, then my parents ditched me and my brother. Then we grew up in Amsterdam, I manifested at age 15, and the rest is pretty much history."
How did you manifest?
"Happened one day when all of the sudden I shocked the shit out of my brother just by tapping his shoulder. We had no idea what was going on, but eventually I got Overcharged and my brother had me head outside around back and try to channel whatever was going on into the metal lamppost near our house. It ended up working. Then a recruiter came about 12 days later and here I am."
What do you mean by "Overcharged?"
Logan stared at him for a while before answering. "It means what it sounds like. My body takes in the maximum amount of charge it can before my skin can't contain it any more. Then the electricity darts popping out, trying to escape by whatever means necessary."

Tell me more about your brother.
She goes silent for a bit again, pocketing the battery before taking out another “His name’s Derek. When our parents left, he took over the role of caretaker. Got himself a job and paid for us both. When I was old enough, I got a job myself and helped him out. Then I got taken to St. Bethany.”
There are rumors that you have a lot of money for two orphaned kids.
"My brother got a good job."
Some think you stole it
She looks at him with the same bored expression "Stealing would take more effort than I'm willing to give. My brother would say the same thing."
....how was St. Bethany?
“As good as any school could get.”
…That’s all? Did you have any friends? Any experiences?
She seems faintly amused by this. “Friends are for social people and I’ve done nothing of interest to you.”
So you’re saying you’re… antisocial?
“I’m not anti-social. I’m anti-stupid. There’s a difference. Unfortunately, a majority of the human population is stupid.”
….So you’re saying you’re smarter than a majority of the population.
She looks at him with bored dark-colored eyes. “Sure.” They sit in silence for a while before finally the man goes on.
So why did you decide to leave St. Bethany’s?
She shrugs after a few more moments of silence. “Because.”
….. Can you elaborate?
“I got the chance to leave, so I decided to. 'Visit other pastures' or whatever they say.”
So you’re leaving just because you feel like it.
“Sure.” The man stares at her with a frown.
But where will you go now?
“Some place called Bellefonte in the States.”
Why there? Any particular reason?
“No.”
No?
“No.” She repeats simply, looking as neutral as ever.
So you just randomly picked a school?
“Yes.” The man looks completely baffled and is speechless for a bit.
…. Did your brother say anything about this? Do you keep in contact with him?
“He doesn’t mind. I can keep in contact with him online, as I have when I was in St. Bethany’s. Nothing’s changing but my location.”
So let me get this straight: You’re changing schools and moving to another country just because you can?
She stares at him long enough that he squirms in the extended silence. “And you wonder why people think I’m anti-social.” It takes him a while before he realizes what her statement implies. Then his face flushes with embarrassment and anger. He stands up abruptly.
I think that’s enough questions.
She smirks lightly.
“Finally.”
