After Riley had finished unpacking all of her things, she really wanted to explore the town. She wanted to see how different it was from Acton Vale, and maybe- just maybe- make some cool friends along the way. And also maybe find a good spot to just kick back and play one of her songs. So she got dressed in some jeans and a tank top before heading out to explore the nearby town. It was a bit of a walk, but she didn't mind too much.
She brought her acoustic guitar along with her, because bringing the other one would've been pointless. She wasn't about to perform in some shop or other just to get attention. Damn, she wasn't that desperate for friends for Pete's sake. Besides, this was mostly a visit just so she could get a feel for everything this new place had to offer her. But so far, it seemed pretty dang cool. There were a lot of shops, and the place seemed... Cute. There really wasn't any other way to describe it. It was quaint and remote, but had its own culture to it basically. Riley liked that about it- the town had some spirit.
She continued walking along idly before finally spotting something familiar. The gates to a park. Thank god she had brought the guitar! With a smile, she headed in and looked for a quiet spot. There were plenty of people there, probably because it was summer and of course people just wanted to spend it in the park. But, as luck allowed, she found a tree that was a in a spot relatively well abandoned by the other park-goers. So Riley slung her guitar off of her shoulders and plopped down on the grass with a thump. As she took out her pick and made a few testing strums, she decided to just wing it and play an improv song off the top of her head. And so she began to play , occasionally adding in some very soft piano notes with her ability just to give it some more pa-zazz. The wind of course made a lovely partner and added the swaying breeze in as well, making Riley smile as she got lost in a world of her own
