Addison was starting to wonder if there was a grander design at play with them getting paired up. They had nothing in common with their powers or their personality. She really hoped this wasn't some new terrorist thing where they paired complete opposites just to blow up BA from the inside.
Because that was a geniusly subtle idea.
"Why I never." Addison placed her hand over her where her heart should be, feigning offence. "Solid strategy though. Must certainly get the boys all hot and bothered. Or...girls? Is that your thing?"

"Who said I wanted to get them all hot and bothered?" she replied, her eyebrow quirking. After all, if Evelyn had wanted someone hot and bothered, she surely could have done so easily.
After all, just because she wasn't charming, it didn't mean she didn't know how to be.
She was a Conner after all. Nothing she did or said was done without purpose.
"As for the last question, I hardly see how my orientation is of any concern, nor how it's relevant to anything," she continued with a wry smile.

"Nobody, Miss Conner. Nobody." Addison rolled her eyes and scuffed her shoe against the floor.
The brunette was definitely not getting anything off this one. But they still had forty-five minutes to complete and so far all they've managed to do was get on each other's nerves. If that was their assignment, the teacher should just give them an A plus across the board.
"It's pretty relevant especially when I'm trying to charm your pants off and all you're giving me is diddly squat. Dial back the attitude, honey."

"Mmmhm," she replied simply and rolled her eyes.
Shaking her head slowly, Evelyn issued a low, annoyed sigh. "Then you should likely go charm someone else, because as you can see, it's not working," she said dryly, her lips pursing lightly.
With that, Evelyn took a few steps to the side of the room, reaching for her bag so she could pull out her cellphone. After all, this was a one-sided conversation, but given how she couldn't really leave yet, she'd might as well find something more interesting to do than talking to this girl.
"I'm sure there's someone in this room that would enjoy talking to you."

"I don't know...I think I saw a spark in your dead eyes earlier." She pulled a face that wasn't entirely pretty in an attempt to show Evelyn that she didn't believe that her flirting wasn't working.
It didn't really set Addison back when the girl whipped out her phone instead of entertaining her. In fact, she saw it more as a challenge than anything else.
"I wouldn't particularly enjoy talking to them so eh, you're stuck with me missy."

"Mmmhm, I'm sure you did," she replied dryly. Did this girl ever shut up? Though, from what little she'd learned thus far, that wasn't very likely. She almost seemed as if she was pushed onward the more Evelyn resisted.
Had it been someone else, in a very different setting, Evelyn might have found it admirable. Instead, she simply found it annoying.
"Oh joy," she replied, rolling her eyes. "But really, run along."

"Can't really do that. We're in training." Addison shrugged before looking at Evelyn. "Unless you wanna go. I know a broom closet that's just waiting to be occupied." She smirked.
By now, she knew it was only a matter of time before either of them blew up. But Addison being Addison could not resist seeing this through. She just didn't like half-assing anything, even tormenting someone who was supposedly indifferent towards everything.
