Erin just nodded when Alex said that she got it and wished to become one with what she was sitting on. Funny how a person that had the power to vanish from site often seemed to forget about it until the last moment. Or it could have been that she didn't actually want to vanish from Alex's view or hearing and just wanted to settle down. Darn hormones, pretty girl, nice girl, and well everything else that describe Alex on and on. Erin knew she could go on and on talking about things that she liked about the girl but she held back from doing that.

She didn't want to make things awkward or harder for herself to calm down from. A few more deep breaths and Erin felt like she was alright again, or at least not going to slip out the other thoughts going on in her mind. It helped that she liked seeing Alex at the brand new computer she had built for the girl. The two of them just looked so right together, which was probably an odd way of thinking about someone being on a computer. Oh well. Then she had to go all super close and hand holding to try and make sure that Alex understood that Erin did want this. She did want to be in the company of the other girl in person like this.

Erin was not fully sure if she had said things the right way, but Alex was smiling so that had to mean that she had done alright. Then there was Alex's head on her shoulder...yup, Erin could feel her heart trying to leap out of her chest again. It's innocent Erin, stop over thinking it. Just breathe, oh god she smells so good. A little like hair dye but just good in general. Erin's mind started to wonder a little bit as she started to chew on the inside of her cheek.

"Y-yeah, and you are so not alone with me...cause I'm here and like help you out cause were friends...and stuff, so yeah man. Leet awesome gamer team besties...things." Erin rambled a little bit as she was pretty sure that yet again she was as red as her hair.

Alex's eyes opened and peered up to the rambling redhead. A certain sense of endearing amusement flashed in her bright, expressive gaze as she watched Erin explain just exactly how not alone Alex really was. "Alright." She said, the words came out abruptly, though there was a softness and understanding to them. "Enough mushy stuff." Another smile spread across her face as she released Erin's hand and pulled away in order to return to her task of putting in their food order online. "There's important business afoot."

It only took a few moments before Alex completed the order and after clicking the 'send' button, she pushed her computer chair away from the desk and gave it a little spin again. She issued a faint giggle at the childish game and twisted her head to look at Erin while she went lazily around and around. "Okay, so, movies. Have you seen the original Friday the 13th?" She asked curiously, bringing herself to a stop and blinking a little as the room around her kept moving in slow, looping circles. Another tiny giggle escaped at the weird sensation. "It's really corny but so much fun." Alex swayed a little, the grin of a little kid danced on her lips as she did so. "And it's a classic. Worth watching just to say you've seen it." And she hastily nodded her assurance of that fact.

Alright, no more mussy stuff. Okay, Erin could do that. Well she could not stop all mussy stuff, especially what was going on inside her head. What was being said out loud, yeah she could stop that or at least try to stop it. She just needed to think about other things that didn't involve how the other girl made her feel and how she enjoyed spending time with people in person. It was a hard thing for her to do, but she still enjoyed it. How could she not when she was always worried that one day she was not going to exists anymore? So being in person with others made her feel like she was still real and not slipping away into the unknown.

"R-right." Erin said nodding her head several times as she watched Alex move to said important task. Her gaze drifting to the hand that Alex had been holding back for a moment. Hey, no mussy stuff. stop thinking about it right now. Erin scolded herself she forced herself to look up and focus on Alex again and not the fact that she had made the first move to hold the girl's hand. The spin with the giggle was just too cute and Erin really wanted to catch it on her phone. She didn't want to be seen as more than a creep then she already was so she refrained for reaching for her phone...for now. However; she could not keep the large smile off of her face, if she even realized just how much she was smiling while looking at Alex.

"There was one that came out before the 2009 one?" Erin asked, sounding a little surprised. She should have known there was considered she likely had it on the one site she went to for all things movie related. She still had not seen it and wondered just how good or bad it was for people back then and if it would be more so funny then scary when they would watch it now. Erin started to nod her head yes as Alex informed her about it being corny but a classic and worth watching. "Let do it-view it. That, watch it." Erin said, biting the inside of her cheek at the 'let’s do it' part. That could be taken innocently, but where her mind was it was hard for her to take it in such a way.

"OH MY GOD!" Alex squeaked, her eyes widening as if Erin had just uttered some egregious profanity insulting her deity or something. Her hands came out to stop the chair cold. Alex's back was to Erin necessitating a slow, overly dramatic turn to face the natural redhead. Alex simply sat there for a long moment, staring at her friend. Staring and judging. "Friday the 13th was released in 1980." She said, her tone low and quiet. She was still holding the facade of being mortified that Erin didn't know this. "It's got Kevin Bacon in it for god sakes!" She protested. Because, obviously, everyone knew that.

The serious tone didn't last though, as Alex burst out of her chair and scurried across the room, her barefeet padding against the carpeted floor. She nearly baseball slid to her knees in front of her DVD rack and started looking through the cases. Softly she began to hum a tune to herself, a finger coming up to rest contemplatively against her lips as she scanned over the labels. Her brow then furrowed and she reached out to shift a few cases around so she could look behind them. It was obvious her collection had far outgrown the small rack in which they rested on. "Where is it, dammit?" She muttered to herself, breaking the gentle humming with a very lady-like curse. "Oh!" She brightened up immediately as her eyes settled upon the right case and she reached out to pluck it from its spot on the shelf. "Here it is!" She said proudly, handing it over for Erin to inspect.

Erin jumped at the squeak, to the point that she actually did a flash do to having been so startled. She rubbed at her eyes and head for a moment, always having to deal with a stinging pain right after 'flashing out' as she called it. Alex would not have noticed it, she would have had to been looking at Erin to notice the girl quickly vanish and reappear into view. Alex was being over dramatic and in such a way that Erin already had a feeling that the girl was kidding with her. If she was not, well Erin could not help but to think that Alex was really cute when she was mortified at someone not knowing something about this movie.

"Sorry, more of a gamer geek then a movie one." Erin admitted as she played with her ear for a moment, mostly just itching at the piercings. She had no clue who this Kevin Bacon was but she was going to make a guess that he was not the creator of bacon so she was going to keep the comment to herself. Erin was then quickly moving across the floor, with Erin worrying the girl was going to get carpet burn with how she almost slid in like it was home plate. Erin didn't say anything as she watched the girl look for the movie, hesitantly moving a little closer after a moment or two. Then success! Erin could practically hear the level up ding or the quest completion chime in her head when Alex located what she was looking for and handed it over.

Erin took the case, looking over it, and it was very easy to tell that this was a movie made before she was even born. Nothing wrong with that, some really good movies were made before her time on the planet. "Oh wait, I might have seen this." Erin said quickly once she got a look at the back and saw the actors. She might have just never seen its case or actually paid attention to how old the movie was back then when she seen it. "Let’s watch it." Erin said, ready to watch it even if she had seen it already. She wanted to do this with Alex and just hoped that she didn't get scared by old scary movies...meaning the bad graphic or continuity issues. At least she hoped the latter would be why she would get scared of a old scary movie.

"It's hella cool!" Alex insisted again, her entire face remaining lit up even as Erin confessed to having already seen the movie. It didn't matter in the end, Alex had seen the entirety of the Friday the 13th series numerous times. So well versed in the often ridiculed and maligned movies she could actually tell the old ones from the 80's apart, a feat few of her friends could manage when dealing with the cheesy, formulaic sequels. "For the eighties it's got some great practical effects." She pointed out with a knowing nod, as if that little tidbit alone should be enough to snag Erin's attention.

Within moment the DVD had been fed into Alex's game console and the newly dyed redhead was crawling over her bed to reach the remote sitting atop the small table sitting beside it. She twisted to a sitting position as she scooped up the remote and turned the TV on. "The thing that, I guess, freaked people out the most about it is one of the actresses in it was, like, known for playing 'wholesome' grandmotherly types in TV and stuff." Alex loved her pop culture trivia and random facts. "So that they got her to be in this would be like if Betty White was in a new Texas Chainsaw Massacre."

A smile that was far too excited to be seeing a movie she'd seen a hundred times before took permanent residence upon Alex's features. She glanced to Erin before turning to lift one of her pillows in order to prop herself up. Settling into the pillow, Alex swapped out the remote for the console controller and set about manipulating the DVD menus. With a sigh she shook her head, finding the small anti-piracy vignette she couldn't skip. "Ugh." She said, scrunching her nose in disgust. "These anti-piracy ads." She waved a hand idly and gave a defiant shrug. "I'd totally download a car." She mumbled.

Erin could not help but to smile, mainly for the fact that Alex was smiling and just looked so happy with life. Bright red hair now, beautiful smile as always and really was excited to watch a movie with Erin Hackett of all people. All that was left was to wait for the food to get here but they would likely be at least a decent way through the movie before food would arrive. Erin had no problem waiting for the food to come and just getting right into the movie. She did have a problem with if she was supposed to sit on the floor or up on the bed with Alex. The floor was probably the best place considering several things that Erin was currently dealing with.

One of them being that she felt like a nice cold shower would probably be for the best and she was just happy that she was not a guy. "I'll take your word for it." Erin responded as she moved to the floor and made herself comfortable. She did at least stay close to the bed, putting her back against it as she had one of her legs pulled in close to herself while the other stretched out in front of her. She did have pull her bag a little closer to her one side to have the comfort of her technology for some strange reason. Perhaps just because she could focus on just touching it and not thinking about touching anything else.

The little fact that Alex told her had her eyes widening for a moment as she took it in and was not actually looking forward to seeing how such an actor was going to play a part in a scary movie such as this. "For reals? Wow, that would be a shock at the time. Would be pretty cool if they did get Betty White in a scary movie. Maybe we can mess around with a copy of the movie and superimpose her into the film." Erin said with a small chuckle. It was something that she actually could do but she meant it more so as a joke.

Perhaps she could just do it some a scene in the movie and just show it to Alex to see what the other girl thought. They had to wait for the usual parts you could not skip in movies, the whole warning and against the law info thing. Erin was pretty sure she was drowning in those fines, if she had ever been caught. She mostly used other sites that did the dirty work for her so it was not like she was actually at fault at the end of the day. "We could watch it online to skip that part and also be breaking the law at the same time." Erin spoke up, joking a little again but she mostly just slid down a little where she was sitting. Okay, that was a dumb thing to say. Erin mentally scolded herself.

There was something about the way a geek spoke of things like movies that was comforting to Alex. She'd tried having conversations with people that didn't invest themselves in certain facets of pop culture the way those of her ilk did and it was always frustrating. Yes, she understood she was just talking about a movie she loved, or a game announcement she was eagerly anticipating or a TV show who's characters she was invested in. She got it more than she let on. Those things weren't the most important things in life and there was much that even a college student had to prioritize. That didn't mean she couldn't enjoy the little things when she was able.

Alex shifted to lay on her stomach and crawled over to the edge of the bed. She peered over it to look at Erin sitting on the floor. Reaching down she brushed her fingers through the red hair of the girl. "Hey." Alex said, a smile spreading across her face. "What're you doing down there?" She asked. "It's not the best setup but I've got lots of pillows you can use to sit up." Alex then went to tug lightly at the sleeve of Erin's shirt. "C'mon up here with me." She urged. "It's way more comfortable."

Erin honestly didn't mind hearing more about the movie or even the fact that it was an old school film. There were some films that were pretty good even if they were forever old and didn't have the cutting edge graphics in them like present day films. Erin was not film junkie but she did enjoy watching movies; especially since it was the other things on her list for when she was not gaming or doing 'work'. Plus there was the added bonus of being able to watch a movie with Alex, in Alex's room, and not to forget that it was just the two of them. It was so not meant to be romantic, but in Erin's little dream world it so was.

In her head what would be next would be to give a sly kiss while the movie was playing to be a distraction. Ah, she was so smooth inside her head that she knew she would be a lady killer if that side of her ever dared to show up in real life. Her mind quickly snapped out of those thoughts as she felt hands in her hair. Alex had to be doing this on purpose. Okay, no she was a very touchy girl and Erin doubted that Alex knew that a girl playing with her hair was such a turn on. My body is ready. Take me now. Erin immediately thought as she just froze in place to quickly try and get her mind out of the gutter and refocus on the film.

"I-I was giving you space...cause y-you know, your bed and like uh..." Erin stuttered out as she remained facing forward and tried to not make eye contact with those beautiful eyes. Straight girl crush bad! No straight girl crush! Stop it! Be innocent! Cold shower for the rest of the week! Erin thought to herself as she took a deep and shaky breath to settle herself down and try not to lean into those fingers running through her hair. "O-okay." Erin managed to get out after just nodding her head yes to Alex's words several times. I mean, she did invite me up here. Would be rude to not join her up on her likely soft bed. Alone. With her next to me. Erin thought to herself, no doubt blushing once more.

She made her way up onto Alex's bed and tried to make herself comfortable. Well as comfortable as you could be when you were feeling way to hot and bothered, but MOVIE! Yes, focus was on the movie and so keeping this innocent.
