Sebastian Christian Austerlitz
FACE CLAIM: Bradley Cooper.
---------------------------------
AGE: 25
GENDER: Male
ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
POSITION: Physical education teacher
POWER: Super Speed
Sebastian can move fast, really fast. This doesn’t mean just running around like a headless chicken, it means that most mundane tasks like cleaning his teeth and having going to the toilet can be done at high speeds.
To move fast his body does something that he doesn’t quite understand, but the electrical impulses that fire off in the brain sending messages are extended beyond the brain, and outward to his skin.
In their most basic form, similar to stem cells just an impulse version, his cells then receive these bursts and get supercharged with energy and increase their production speed immensely.
Which results in him being super speedy.
LIMITATIONS:
Being able to run at super speeds is great and all, but it leaves one feeling rather hungry, with his increased bodily functions he will need to eat on average 10x more than someone else of his size and fitness.
And as for his top speed he can Reach speeds of 450MPh, pushing 470MPH if he really went above and beyond. Resulting at him possibly competing at the next grand prix, although I doubt he would win. although he would be in need of serious medical attention after going that fast.
There is also the problem of being able to register what is happening around him, While he could be moving comfortably at 150mph he could only register things at slightly less than that, meaning if someone ran into the road there is a chance he would crash into them, severely harming both of them.
He isn’t super durable or strong, so while a punch would hurt moving that fast, it would shatter his arm in the process. Or crashing into a stationary wall would break allot of his bones, depending on the velocity of the crash.
SIDE-EFFECTS:
Having a top speed so high doesn’t mean he can achieve it safely, if ever, the closer he goes to his top speed the more his muscles tear themselves apart to keep going faster, resulting in agonising pain and potentially being bed ridden for days on end.
Then there is the before mentioned need to eat enough food for a large family.
There is also tunnel vision, so peripheral vision goes blurry and he tends to focus on where he is going.
There is also a time dilation effect that takes place when he moves extremely fast, say he’s moving 3x faster than someone, to him the world would be moving 3x slower, while time is unaffected, just how he perceives it changes.
There is also energy expenditure, as his body supplies the energy then prolonged running would make him crash and sleep for extended amounts of time.
He also has a tendency to speak increasing fast when getting excited, to the point where a normal person wouldn’t be able to understand him.
HEIGHT: 6ft
HAIR COLOR: brown/ black
EYE COLOR: green
MISC: N/A
PERSONALITY: Sebastian is highly sarcastic and confident in himself, yet ironically can be extremely slow minded and dumb at times, This leads to many cases where he is quick to anger (pun not intended).
He also has a bad case of sloth…ism, where he is confident enough to leave most things to the last minute and wing them as he goes. This has led to many an embarrassing situation in the past, along with many quick exits from said awkward situations.
However deep down he is a nice person, willing to help almost anyone that wants it, with the exception of people that he obviously wouldn’t help, but eventually he will help them, even If it isn’t in the way that they would have originally wanted.
Being a relatively chill and relaxed person does have its merits, he’s never one to worry about any form of deadline or meeting, instead he would rather watch the match, with no preference to sport or team, as long as he can just relax and have a drink and laugh.

CHILDHOOD: Childhood was an odd and unhappy time for Sebastian, he tried to be happy, but how happy could a German in Ireland be? Having to go to a strange cold/ wet country and play with kids that didn’t where mean to him, all because he had that accent, time went on and he got bits and pieces from his mother to make life easier, spending his time with her trying to stay at home and pretend he was sick. It worked some of the time but never if his father was around.
His father was a stern man, being born and raised in Berlin post WW2 hardens a man and changes the outlook on life. He meant well but it often hurt the feelings of Sebastian and his brother, who spent nights trying to stay away from their dad and with their mother.
Once they started school fully they were expected to achieve high grades and have no lip on them in class, the still rather strong German twinge to his accent incurred bullying and miss-understandings with the teacher.
Simply turning up to class and getting the grades wasn’t enough for their father, probably didn’t help that Sebastian wasn’t doing as well as his brother, who was doing about average…, This made their father angry and Sebastian keen to win back his favour, so he enrolled into a sports club, hoping that he would be able to prove that he was good at one thing in life.
Which it turned out he was…
ADOLESCENCE: Moving onto higher Education was interesting for Sebastian, his accent had merged into a Irish/ German hybrid, which made it slightly easier to make friends, and it helped that he was well on his way to becoming what Americans would call a “jock”.
Having lots of friends and being good at almost every sport that the schools threw at him did wonders for his self-esteem,The longer he spend outside going what he loved the happier he became, often staying late at the schools tracks and gym to prefect his techniques go for records, this was making his body leaner and generally more physically fit, which the local girls did tend to notice.
Then there was the day that His powers manifested. He was 13 closing in on the year 9 sports day, staying late at the track to see if he could smash just one more record, which he was absolutely certain that he could, gearing up for the 1500m track, 3…2…1… GO, putting all of his strength into the push off he knew something was different, he felt powerful, strong and a rush. That and the coach was barely moving, like he was literally moving in slow motion, he was so surprised that he didn't notice the brick wall ramming into his shoulder.
After a few weeks of having a fractured collar bone, someone found him, told him to go to a special school for people like him. Which his parents agreed, reluctantly. The School was labelled St Bethany’s and apparently the UK Centre for Mutant schools.
Time at that school was different in good and bad ways, he enjoyed being taught how to control his mutation a bit more, and made some new friends, however he didn’t like having to leave all of his old friends and adapt to a new life style, but he would enjoy it ultimately.
ADULTHOOD: Sebastian had a great time speeding through education, hopping out of normal school and into the specialist school had been a wonder and paid off in the end, as his mutation was now well under his control, and he only crashed into cars very rarely, and if a really pretty lady walked past, but who could blame him, he is a guy after all.
Once he had graduated he realised that he would be able to do whatever he wanted and go wherever he wanted. So he took a trip to America that he didn’t intend on ever coming back from.
Hoping aboard a plane to Florida and starting there, with no plan and a backpack full of dreams
The 1st few years of being in the states where the hardest, talking the same language and having his very identifiable accent made it easy to make friends and socialise, but not staying in the same place made it difficult for him to grow attached, literally speeding between towns and staying in motels doing odd jobs was his life.
He worked his way from Florida to California, doing anything to make it, and he loved every minute of it keeping true to his back pack full of dreams and his own two feet.
SAMPLE: He Loved the feeling of wind in his hair, rushing through it and feeing the slight tug on his back as it washed over him, he was pretty sure that nothing could beat the feeling of running.
But then again, feelings change from time to time and he was getting tired of running around town to town, day to day, job to job, he was beginning to feel like settling down and resting for a while. That and literally resting for a while the pain in his legs was becoming annoying and he was hungry.
Running off was a decent idea, try to shoot as quickly as he dared and stop at the next town for a while, but he was enjoying watching the TV in the back of this black sedan beside him, at first he had creeped out the kids so they tried to speed up and loose him, but after the 10th time they realised he was here to stay, at least until the movie was over. Sure he couldn’t hear it but he was still enjoying it, after all visual comedy is the best comedy.
A sudden loud beep brought him back to reality, just in time to move round a red mustang that whipped past, apparently it was rude to run in the oncoming lane, but he had looked online and it clearly stated that.
A: rules of the road applies to cars and not runners, and B: you do not need a driver’s license to run down the highway, that had caught out a cop who wanted to give him a speeding ticket, and given him a laugh in the process, like he might be fast and annoying but if a cop flashes him he will humour them.
However the pain was almost getting to him now so he reluctantly sped up and got into the correct lane to speed himself towards civilisation, breezing past a sign that read “Kalispell”
