HEIGHT: 5'8

MISC: Elliot usually wears contacts to correct his vision, but sometimes will wear black glasses if he forgets to refill his prescription. He is also an avid fan of sunglasses. For clothes, he tends to stick to simple, casual pieces like jeans and t-shirts paired with flannel or button up shirts. When the occasion calls for it, Elliot can dress up in nicer attire.
He has two tattoos; both on his left arm. The first is piano keys with flowers on the lower part of his arm and a portrait of Frank Sinatra on his forearm.
PERSONALITY:
The first thing people notice about Elliot is he is loud. He is very much a people person and enjoys being in the center of a crowd. He finds comfort in the presence of other people, outgoing by nature and willing to put himself out there. Elliot is passionate, always dedicated to whatever he sets his mind to. As a hobby, Elliot is a decent piano player; not good enough to ever make it big, but he knows enough to impress relatives at family gatherings.
Those who are close to Elliot know that he is compassionate, and always willing to help out other people, no matter what the expense is. Friends, family, even strangers; he genuinely cares and wants to ensure that everyone is okay. Constantly, he puts other people before himself, worrying about their well-being over his own. He is reliable and dependable, but also needs to learn to take some time for himself.
What surprises people is when they learn that Elliot is hot headed. He's volatile, and it doesn't take much to set off his incredibly short temper. He's capable of snapping at others on short notice, even escalating to physical fights in the worse case scenario. Fortunately, it's gotten better with age, but Elliot is still vulnerable to his short fuse. He acts on short term impulses, but becomes dedicated to them nonetheless. With the high amount of energy he possesses, Elliot hates being still for a long period of time. He's restless and constantly on the move.
SECRET(S): Elliot has just found he has a half-sister, Ellis Vaccari. He's come to Kalispell with the intention to meet her for the first time.
FATHER: Theodre Vaccari
MOTHER: Sandra Lockhart
SIBLINGS: Ellis Vaccari, half-sister
WORTHY MENTIONS: N/A
CHILDHOOD: From a young age, there was only one parent part of the picture. A single mother raising her only son. They only had each other; nobody else was part of the equation. For Elliot, this was normal until he went to elementary school and wondered why all the other kids had two parents, except for him. Sandra Lockhart did her best to explain to her son the situation that the single mother had found herself in without being too explicit. The father hadn't known about Elliot, as Sandra never told him about their son's existence. While he accepted the idea, Elliot always did wonder why he wasn't good enough. Why he didn't stay.
Otherwise, Elliot led a normal childhood. He went to elementary school and played with the other kids his age, already outgoing by nature at that point. His mother tried her best to keep her son busy with sports and extracurriculars, keeping the restless Elliot in motion as long as possible. There was never a lot of money in the household, but the pair managed to live comfortably. Since it was only Elliot and his mom, the two created a close bond from the start. As he grew older, Elliot only grew more bitter towards the blank space where a father was suppose to be. Angry at the fact that he didn't have a father. While his mother did her best to fill that void, it was impossible to completely replace that empty feeling.
ADOLESCENCE: Adolescence was like any other. Elliot continued to go to school, never excelling in his classes but never failing either. He had a wide circle of friends, constantly around other people. Keeping preoccupied was important; it gave him a sense of purpose. As Elliot grew older, his bond with his mother strengthened. Unlike his peers, Elliot knew he could go to her for anything; there were no secrets, except for one.
A father.
When he was sixteen, Elliot's mother managed to reconnect with his father. She revealed to him for the first time that they had a son, born sixteen years ago. And so, someone new entered their lives; a family growing from two to three. First, there was shock and denial. Why had it taken sixteen years for him to make an appearance in his life? Both his mother and father sat down and explained it to Elliot, who was at an age of better understanding the situation. Soon, Elliot warmed up to the idea of having a fatherly figure in his life. That anger had quickly subsided, replaced with positive feelings.
Elliot and his father quickly grew closer, making up for lost time. His father introduced him to the world of music, teaching him how to play the piano. To keep his restless hands in motion. Time seemed to go by quickly, as Elliot graduated from the local high school when he was eighteen.
ADULTHOOD: Elliot applied to take classes at the nearby community college the year after graduating, in hopes of finding something that he would like. While he fit into the college scene of parties and going out every weekend, as a result, his grades suffered. Two years after initially enrolling, Elliot decided it would be best if he took some time off. He had a hard time dealing with the classroom environment; while it was mandatory in high school, in college it was optional. He took some time off, working odd jobs, finally finding work at a restaurant. There, Elliot worked as a waiter until he was of age and got promoted to working at the bar. The fast paced lifestyle worked for him. While it wasn't the best paying, he managed.
His early adulthood was uneventful. Work, go out on his nights off, and repeat. To this day, it's a lifestyle Elliot thrives in. He has thought about going back to college as an older student to get some sort of certification so he can eventually open up his own business. That was his plan.
A week ago, everything changed. For the worse.
Elliot learned he has a sister; his age. A half sister, actually. If hearing that he had a father was shocking news, this was ten times worse. He didn't know what to make of this secret kept for twenty six years. Even worse, he realized that his father had left behind that family to come be with him and his mother. Abandoning his own sister and her mother. The results were chaotic; yelling and screaming from all family members. Angry, Elliot punched his father, wondering how he could do that to another family. This was a huge secret; how could his parents keep this from him?
Impulsively, Elliot decided to pack up his bags and move, to meet his sister who he assumes has no idea he exists. He managed to find out from his father where Ellis was, in the small town of Kalispell, Montana. The middle of nowhere. A drastic change from Portland, Oregon. In his mind, this was necessary. Afterall, she deserved to know what had happened.
Now that he has somewhat settled, Elliot has one goal in mind; to start a relationship with his half sister that he's never had the chance to meet. Until now.
SAMPLE: On the outside, James appeared as his normal, collective self. The image most associated with him. Although the severity of the headache had peaked, the ache was still there. The city was loud to begin with and contending against so many conversations at once had been a lot to handle. Paired with his racing pulse, it was safe to say James was a mess, internally. But he kept his cool.
Except for where it mattered most. Around her. He was unaware that his elevated heart rate would take a toll on her as well. James consciously tried to adjust, but he wasn't sure he could control it at this point.
Especially when looking at her smile. It was a reaction new to James, who always projected a calm exterior. He wasn't use to someone causing all of this.
Straightening his back, he led the way through the familiar streets, all routine at this point. James knew the area well enough that he didn't have to pay much attention to the street names above. Instead, he directed his focus to Ella. His pace quickened, though he couldn't match it to a reason why. His heartbeat, hammering away in his chest, or a desire to head back to a calmer place. Somewhere he could ease the migraine. James' hand had settled on her back, as they neared the hotel they were staying at for the weekend. "There we go." He said, in the empty air. Away from the crowd. Away from everyone else. The relief was almost tangible.
