Late Night

[Nico Martell]

Again Nico could feel the, well, feeling in the air change. He could almost feel the tension leaving Selina, and he understood, on some level, what was going on there. He kept silent though, only offering the comment about the coffee. Nico did catch that smile though, and he could see the exhaustion that followed.

"Nos vemos," he replied, nodding and raising a hand. Nico watched as Selina left, his eyes drifting down only long enough for one last mental upbraiding for passing that up. Then he took another sip of the drink. Nico sat it down, adjusted the cup slightly, and nodded. Yeah, definitely a long night, and one that he had a feeling was going to stick with him for a while.

Nico took one last look in the direction Selina went, then turned and left himself. He knew it would be a while until sleep took him, a while and a cold shower, at the least.
