[Casper & Jasper Emory]

"Tsk, tsk. Do you at least think about grabbing it?" Jasper asked. He knew that he certainty thought about a lot of things he wanted to do to a person, for at least the moment he was checking them out or the subject was on his mind. It was actually there pretty often but while he might have wanted to bang everyone like a rabbit, he actually loved to tease them more. The way a person behaved when they were flustered and wanted you bad was just so entertaining. Plus it made him feel wanted, and that was something that Jasper really wanted out of people that were not his brother. "Checking me out at the pool, huh? I knew it." Jasper teased.

Of course he expected Franck to check him out at the pool, so much of his body was being shown off then. If Franck had not been checking him out then, well then something was wrong. He really was proud of Franck for being bold and going for what he wanted, that was good. It would at least make the two of them going out in the long run because Franck would be less worried about going after someone else. Right? "I prefer to take leaps and jumps at a time, but I'll allow you to take steps for now." Jasper said as he gave Franck a smile.

Still, his brother was not leaving his mind and the phone call and hearing what happened made nothing else important. He didn't have time to go into details with Franck, he had to get to his brother and make sure that he was alright. He didn't even hear Franck call out him, telling him to wait, he was already long gone. Going to where his brother told him he was and quickly helping him up to his feet. Since the brothers did not want to deal with staff and Casper didn't want to tell on Artemis, they went to their room. Where Jasper started to give his brother a sort of checkup, checking his breathing, and making sure that his brother was alright.

Jasper had started even crying at one point, but Casper let him know that he was alright and everything was fine. He also made sure to make his brother promise him that he would not go after Artemis or Lucy for revenge or anything like that. The two of them hanging out on Casper's bed and talking a little bit with Jasper forgetting about pretty much everything else in the world as he clung to his brother. Casper did at least manage to pull out his own phone and send Franck a text message.

Hey, srry I stole Jasper from u. We in our room if u want to come by later. Like...much much later. Let him cool down a little.

Franck would really rather not answer that question. He didn’t always think about grabbing a guy’s ass but some were really good looking and tempting. Still, he had enough self control not to let his mind wander there, not in public. His mind preferred to go dirty in his dreams or when he was alone, without anyone else to know about it. Or around Jasper. He had a lot of trouble keeping himself under control around Jasper. He had an innocent shrug at his comment.“The first time we met, you were taking your clothes off in front of me. Or that was your brother... you still ended up taking your clothes off. It’s really hard not to look, or keep looking.” The twins sure did quite an impression on him and that since the first day they met.

Franck was not to take jumps and leaps of faith. This was not like him. It was already impressive that he got so far with Jasper. He thought he really opened up with him and not just with how he could show his desires and talk of it in the boy’s presence. The key being the boy’s presence, as Franck could not be as openly expressive as Jasper was around others. It was good that he agreed to take things slowly for him. It was gestures like this that made Franck believe it might actually work.

All that Franck knew about what happened to Casper was that Artemis nearly killed him. He figured it was exaggerated. He hoped it was exaggerated. And if it was not, he didn’t doubt Artemis didn’t mean to. He not against the twins of course but he also knew the other guy. He was so much like himself and Franck knew he would never intentionally harm someone.

He was almost at the boys’ door when he got the text. If it had the advantage of telling him where they were, it did nothing to have Franck calm his nerve. He was, in fact, even more tempted to come over and make sure they were alright. So he wrote back to the boy.

Are you alright? Your message for your brother got me worried. Is there anything I can do? Do you need anything? Food, medical care, distraction for your brother so he does not try to kill Artemis? I'm not too far from your door but I can still leave you if you think it best. Maybe I should not come tonight either? I understand and want the best for the two of you right now. But I’m worried so try to reply, r have Jasper do it.

Casper did feel good to know that Franck did actually care about the both of them, even if he for sure cared about Jasper a bit more. Casper showed his brother the text, but Jasper left it to his brother to do the texting back. Jasper just wanted to remain by his brother's side, to just calm down, and just take deep breath. He wanted to kill Artemis, he wanted to kill his sister, and pretty much kill anyone that was even nice to the boy. Kill all of them first, and then finish off with Artemis once he was at a low point and understood that people died because of him. He was in no mood to be around anyone but his brother.

Casper texted back, then spoke to his brother. The two of them were talking about if it would be a good idea for Franck to come by later or not. Jasper knew he would calm down eventually, but even with Franck over, he would only want to just sleep with the boy close to him, and still in his brother's bed. "Here." Jasper said as he wiped at his eyes and took his brother's phone to text Franck one more thing.

If u don't mind sleeping w/ my bro also in the bed, then yeah come over later. If not, don't worry about it, will hang tomorrow.

After sending a text back to Casper, Franck chose to wait where he was for the reply before doing anything. He was worried about him. And he felt terribly guilty. He was having a great time with Jasper and when the boy started to get worried because his brother was not answering his stupid phone, he got a little angry at Casper. Now that he knew why he was not picking up, he felt terrible for ever being upset about this. Casper was not aware of this but he still felt like he needed to do something to apologize. Still, he wouldn’t if the brothers preferred him to stay away while he rested. It was not like he was really useful for that.

He looked at his phone as soon as he got an answer. He even nodded, although it really was a movement done only for himself. He was fine. So maybe he did not almost die like Jasper claimed. Franck found himself relaxing at the thought. He was wondering what he should do then. The brothers offered for him to come over later. He knew that he would. It was necessary, otherwise he’ll worry over Casper. He needed to see for himself that the boy was fine, to sense in his emotions that he would be alright.

He received another text, getting him out of his thoughts. He frowned for a moment before realising it must be Jasper who sent this one.

Is that Jasper? I’ll come later, just to check, we’ll see about sleeping then ok?

After a time he considered acceptable to be called ‘later’ Franck returned to their room. He figured Casper might not have been in good enough shape to go to the dining area to pick something up. At least, he didn't see him or his brother so he decided to pick up what could be considered a small dinner for two, the two being the twins obviously, and water bottles before coming over. He knocked and waited for them to open up.

No, Casper had very much almost died. If Artemis power did not wear off when it did and if Casper didn't have his inhaler on him when he was able to use it, he probably would have died. Could one imagine a student dying on a boat trip and killed by another student’s power? It would not have been the first time that someone almost died because of another student’s power and it would not be the last. It just showed more reason why the mutants had to go to their own special school and not among normal humans. The brother even agreed with that much because at least at Bellefonte they could hit someone and sent them flying across a room and know that a healer would patch said person up.

Or that said person could be resilient to their power at least a little bit. At any rate, it was serious but the brothers didn't want to tell on Artemis for their own reasons so that meant that they had to handle the matter on their own. So Jasper was planning on not leaving his brothers side to make sure that he was fully okay and even had his inhaler ready for his brother to use. The text came in on Casper phone, which read it and showed it to his brother. Jasper left it to Casper to response back to it, since he still felt like it didn't really matter who was talking since they were both usually aware of what was on one another phone.

Yeah and alright. See you later. I did enjoy our time together, sorry that it had to be cut short.

The brothers ended up losing track of time because the two of them both dozed off, with Casper passing out first due to the level of exhaustion of his body. He was even using his power to help his lungs recover faster. Jasper of course stayed awake to his brother fell asleep and then only fell asleep sometime after, not enough time for him to fall into a deep sleep so he heard the knock at the door. Jasper hesitated, looking at his sleeping brother before answering the door. "Hey, Franck. You can come in if you want." Jasper said as he opened the door up and stepped to the side for Franck to come in. He didn't linger around long before he was already moving to sit on the edge of his brother’s bed.

Franck had no idea just how bad it had been. He didn’t want to ask Artemis or the brothers what happened exactly. All he cared about was for Casper to feel better now and recuperate quickly. Sure, it was hard for him to think Artemis would do something of the like. Well, to be honest, it was not all that hard. The twins loved to push people and he noticed how the boy was on the edge. That might have been the last straw. But he could not believe it was done on purpose and that was something he would not tell the brothers. They would be too angry to hear Franck was defending the boy. He still thought it unacceptable to hurt someone like that. But, in the end, he was not the one Artemis hurt. It was not his place to forgive or condemn him.

He was nervous when he came to the brothers’ room. Scared even. He was afraid to find out Casper was in a worse state that he convinced himself he was, just so he wouldn’t feel too bad about it. He figured the one who opened to him was Jasper. It was confirmed as he saw one in bed. He tried to smile to him as he looked at the boys. “How are you doing?” The question was not on how he was doing emotionally, of course, as that would be easy for the boy to tell, but physically. He had to be in a bad shape to stay in bed like that.

He showed them the tray filled of food he had in his hands. “I figured you might not be in good enough shape to come out and eat with us so I picked something for you guys,” he explained before bringing it to Jasper so he could put it wherever he judged fit. He gulped as he looked back at Casper. A frown even showed up on his face. He was really sorry for him and felt useless as there really was nothing he could do for him right now, other than the food he just brought them.

Jasper sat on his brother's bed, looking at Franck for a moment, and of course he noticed the food that the boy had brought. He was just not in the mood to eat just yet, but he did suppose he should at the very least help put the food somewhere. That was the only reason why he got off the bed and went back over to Franck, so he could get the food trays. There was the question; which Jasper figured was directed towards Casper who was now up ever since he heard the door to their room being opened. "I've been better. Chest hurts and I'm tired but I'll live." Casper assured Franck.

It would still be clear by his voice that he had had a hard time breathing not too long ago, but he sounded a lot better than he had before, thanks to his healing. "Thank Franck, so sweet of you." Casper added as he gave his brother a look who seemed to be a little distant for a moment as he set the food down one their night stands so it was close to the bed for if they changed their mind about eating. "He really is a little sweet heart, bet he would even try and take care of us when we are all super old and can hardly feed ourselves." Jasper spoke up as he gave Franck a small smile.

If there was one thing that could make Jasper happy, it was someone being kind to his brother. He cared about Casper a lot, so when someone was nice to his brother and seemed to actually care. That won Franck a lot of points, it always would. "Did you eat at all?" Casper asked as he moved a little to peek at the food. Jasper did move over towards Franck, leaning in to give his boyfriend a quick kiss. "Thanks...for understand and bringing food." Jasper would go to whisper in his ear after the kiss, if he was allowed.

Franck nodded as Casper answered him. One nod every being better, another for the chest and yet another for living through it. “Just get some rest and don’t overdo it. You had someone check you up?” He figured it was the logical thing to do but the twins were not always very logical. Still, aside from the fact he could really use some rest and shouldn’t do anything extreme like leaving his room for the next couple of hours, he did seem fine and it reassured Franck. He wouldn’t spend the whole night worrying about this. His voice showed he was not doing so well but Franck had hoped it would get better if he just lied down. Either way, he couldn’t do much else and the fact the boy was alive was all that really mattered.

He was still curious as to what happened exactly but he didn’t want to ask. The two seemed to have calmed down but talking of this might just make them upset and Franck preferred to have them in this state. There would still be time to ask later, once Casper will feel better and Artemis’ life might not be in danger.

Until then, there was food. Franck smiled, looking at his feet while doing so. “Your brother will really survive this if you allow yourself to joke,” he replied on a soft tone, his eyes looking up at them, as if he was not sure he was allowed to say such a thing. This expression left him when Casper talked. He shook it off his face to look more serious before answering him. “Yes I... Well, that was about all I could think of doing while waiting to come see you guys,” he explained, chuckling softly as it was probably a little pathetic. Franck paced a hand on Jasper’s hip when he came to kiss him real quick. He let him kiss him of course and gave him a brief one too. “I figured you’d want to watch over your brother so I just came to drop this,” he whispered back to him. He then looked at Casper and said, on a louder tone so he could hear it too. “I’ll let you rest. I’ll see you guys tomorrow, when we get back home.” He felt that if he stayed he would only be in the way. He might be clingy but even he knew there was a limit.

"Okay and just my brother. Will go later after I come up with a lie on why I need to get looked at." Casper said, not ashamed that he was admitting that he was going to lie. He didn't want to deal with the drama that would come with telling what really happened. So he would say that he got a little carried away with the running around, didn't have his inhaler on him, and almost died from it until his brother thankfully showed up. That was a good story to go with in his opinion but he was going to lay on it a while just to be sure. Work out a few more details with his brother so that way they were on the same page when it came to the questions.

It was smart that Franck didn't ask about the matter now, it was best to always wait a day at least when it came to a subject that was sore for the brothers. They would talk about it when they were ready and no sooner than that. That was just how they were and they had changed very little since coming to BA besides mostly getting used to going to classes and the like. "Yeah, but someone else might not survive this." Jasper muttered. "Jasper." Casper warned his brother and that was the end of that for now. Jasper refocused on just giving Franck a kiss and was happy that it was returned and that Franck was understood of it all.

"Still did good." Jasper assured Franck, wanting him to understand that he really appreciated all of this. He gave a nod when Franck confirmed what he planned to do and he was happy that Franck really did seem to just get it. Life was so much easier when a person would just get it. "Alright, see you later Franck. We will swim all day with you tomorrow." Casper assured Franck as he settled back down to get in some more rest. "I'll make sure to walk around in your view a lot in my swimming trunks." Jasper added with a wink as he went to walk Franck to the door to see the boy off.

Franck was not entirely sure he liked the fact Jasper was the only one who checked him up but he didn’t think the twins would listen to him. He was surprised Casper said he had to come up with a lie first. He didn't want to admit what happened. Why? He didn’t seem ashamed so it clearly was not the reason why he didn’t want to tell the truth. No one would mock him for almost dying. The only reason he saw was that he didn’t want to cause more trouble than what probably happened already. That would have been Franck’s reason but he didn’t think the twins could think that way too. Maybe it was to avoid trouble on their part more than to spare Artemis. Either way, it still spared the boy and Franck was actually thankful for that.

Jasper, of course, was not that forgiving. Franck liked that Casper seemed to try and stop him. “About that..” Franck said. He stopped as he felt like he needed to pick his words with care before the brothers thought he was on Artemis’ side or, to be exact, against them. It was not the case. He was on no one’s side. “Try not to get in trouble because of him. He’s not worth it,” he told Jasper. It might sound harsh but if that saved Artemis from a beating, he would say it like that. Besides, it was not false, Franck really believed it was not worth getting in trouble just so he could punch the guy in the face.

He smiled, glad that the gesture he did might be small but the right one nonetheless. He knew they both suggested he could stay but he was not dumb, he understood that Jasper would be too worried for his brother to care about him around and he doubted he’d be able to really calm him down about it. It was best to leave them alone. There would be other occasions. Plus they had a great time while it lasted. He chuckled at what Jasper told him. It brought him back to their conversation, before all of this happened. “I’m looking forward to that,” he told Jasper, his smile still on. He turned his head to Casper on the bed. “Good night,” he told him before whispering another good night to Jasper and giving him another kiss before leaving them.

Both of the siblings looked at Franck when he spoke up. Jasper was already starting to make a face, but the way Franck had said it worked out. It was not really scolding him, telling him what to do, and it mostly seemed like Franck was saying it because he cared. His brother had already said not to so Jasper was going to behave. Franck saying something just helped Jasper feel a little more calm about it and now was really not going to do anything back. Even if he still wanted to deep down.

"You're right. I'll leave it." Jasper spoke up as he nodded. That guy really was not worth his time, just some stupid person that must have had a death wish. He was going to leave it for now and just hoped that stupid guy didn't show his face around them ever again. Casper made himself comfortable and already started to settle down to get some rest while Jasper handled walking Franck out of their room. "Good, you might even get something special in the changing room." Jasper added, whispering the words still to Franck. He was pleased at the returned kiss and met Franck’s second kiss before he let the boy out of his room.

"He is so going to fall in love with you." Casper mumbled as he curled up a little on the bed. Jasper moved over towards the bed and crawled in to join his brother for a rest after feeling just so emotional over the whole matter. "Maybe, and I still don't understand why." Jasper responded, not thinking too much about it as the two went to their nap. They planned on waking up later to eat the food the Franck had brought over for them. He really was a sweet guy.
