[SB] Retaliation

[Casper & Jasper Emory]

Casper didn't regret hitting the boy; his only regret was that he could not hit him harder and a few more times. That didn't matter at the moment since he worried more about making sure to not let himself be worked up anymore as he recovered from basically almost dying. Thankfully he still had a few minutes left before there was a risk of brain damage, but he was still going over things in his mind. Like his full name, age, birthday, secretes about himself, and secretes about his brother. When he was sure that he was recalling everything, he then looked to Artemis who had been apparently talking to him and asking questions.

He had been distracted with recalling things that he missed a lot of what the other boy was saying but figured that none of it was really important. It was probably things about being sorry and asking if he was okay. Stupid stuff that he was being a baby about after having tried to be mister tough guy in the first place for no reason. Casper rubbed at his eyes a few times just as Artemis was asking if he was okay to sit up and if he needed any support. Casper just glared at the boy, not saying anything for a moment. "I'll be...fine." Casper spoke, his voice coming out strained a little but he ignored the slight pain.

"Just leave me alone and get away from me. Stay away from me for a while too or else I'll kick your ass." Casper warned him, giving him a death glare. He still felt like he could be intimidating even as his pale completion was returning to him and his eyes still watered a little bit. His voice was a bit off, but for the most part one could understand what he was saying and his breathing for the most part was back to normal. Now he just wanted Artemis gone. He was going to hate the boy for a few says but then after that he figured he would be able to tolerate him. The main problem was how Jasper was going to react when he found out about this.

Casper didn't appear to be listening to him, but having what he'd just been through, Artemis didn't blame him. Artemis himself was still shaking, a mixture of the fear leaving him and the adrenaline still pumping through his veins. He opted to ignore the ache in his face from the other boy's punches, his focus remaining on Casper's condition. His breathing was less raspy, becoming steadily fuller, the small amount of colour seeping back into his pale complexsion. Artemis dreaded to think what could have occured if his toxin had lasted even afew moments more...

Artemis met the other boy's glare with a look of concern, whih only seemed to intensify the hate in Casper's eyes. Artemis was more then used to recieving disgust filled looks, although they usually came from Lucy, so this boy's glare didn't phase him. He went to move closer, aiming to try and aid the other boy in getting to his feet, when the Emory twin gave him a raspy reply. Artemis blinked at him once he state he was fine, as it was fairly obvious he wasn't. "N-No, no, you need-" He began, only to be cut off by Casper's next remark, a harsher one that despite his strained breath still held as much threat as he had intended. Artemis flinched back as though he'd been burned, biting hit bottom lip with wide eyes as he stared at the other boy; Of course he was going to despise him all the more for this... Would he... Would he go after Lucy for this, to punish him? Artemis wouldn't put it past him...

"... I'm sorry, but y-you need help," Artemis spoke hurriedly, his voice breaking slightly. "Kick my ass or don't, you need help and I'm the only one here. C-Come on, let me help you up."
Artemis glanced down to his palms, where the barbs were still extended but the ache in his hands informed him that they were starting to retract. Clenching his hands into fists to make sure the barbs wouldn't break Casper's skin a second time, ignoring the stabbing pain it brought him, Artemis quickly got ot his feet and came closer to the other boy, kneeling down to him. "C-Come on, I need to get you to your room, or to the n-nurse." He offered the boy his arm, hoping he would take it, so Artemis could wrap his other arm around him and heave him up to his feet.
He knew if he did take him to the nurse, it would come out what Artemis did. But Casper's health was currently far more important then Artemis's potential punishment.

Casper just wanted to punch the boy again; he was not leaving him alone. Clearly he did not get that Casper wanted him out of his site, out of the area in which he breathed air. He wanted him gone, possibly dead, but that was only because of the extreme side of his mind thinking. Oh it would be so easy to punch the kid in the face to knock him out and then toss him overboard. Then the boy would drown and he would be done with it. He of course would not do that, he could not do that. It was still a bit too early for him and his brother to end up in jail.

That meant that Casper had to be the one to leave since Artemis was not getting it. To top the whole problem off, his phone was now buzzing, likely with messages from his brother checking in on him or asking for advice of some sort. "I don't need you help!" Casper yelled, reaching a hand out to shove in the general direction of the boy. He didn't want his help, he didn't want him to be near, him, and he didn't want to be touched. The other boy was basically digging his own grave by sticking around and trying to help when Casper didn't want it. "Yeah, whatever. I get your sorry. Leave me alone. I can handle it myself." Casper said, adding a bit of edge in his voice as best as he could with his throat and chest still hurt.

He was already working on standing up on his own, pushing out with a free hand again in Art's general direction when the boy tried to get closer and help him out again. He needed to respond to his brother's text or else his brother would get worried but he just wanted Art to be out of his site first and to take a moment to catch his breath. Plus he didn't want to get in the way of Franck's alone-time with his brother. Not yet anyways. "Just leave me the hell alone. I can get there myself. Just get out of my sight. Now. Or else." Casper warned him. It was going to be the last warning he was going to give before he outright made the boy leave him alone.
