God, how long would this take? Jack admittedly quite short attention was being tested to it’s limits sitting here he had to make his own games in the chair by speaking nonsense that could only serve to irritation everyone around him. Thank God, he managed to find a girl as tolerant of his stillness as she appeared to be. Even though when she was around there was always the fear that Onnie would one day say: “You know what? I’m better then this” Which naturally she was, but maybe if he toned it back she’ll never figure that out. (Which naturally enough was Jack’s worse fear possible)
Jack tuned to Onnie puffing out his lips as if trying to consider if he was truly capable of what Onnie was asking of him before raising his hand above his head and making a mock salute “I make no promises but, ‘Aye-Aye’” captain” He said with a wink turning back to the mirror “Right, here we go, focusing, were focusing. This is focus. So much focus. All the focus.” Jack muttered over and over again clearly a man on a mission.
Jack kept still humming under his breath but his ears pricked up when his friendly neighbourhood barber started speaking “Oh, woah, woah woah. Hold on “Dead as a doornail? ..He just admitted to murder, like straight up murder. He just send it, Onnie, keep an eye on him and his scissors. Just in case he goes all Sweeney Tood on me, I’m too pretty to be made into a pie and star in a movie with Johnny Depp and that crazy looking British Lady- Harold something. I’M TOO YOUNG TO BE EATED BY A LADY CALLED HAROLD SOMETHING”

Surely Oneyka was surprised that it had been this long and Jack had yet to run away or roam off somewhere, or find himself back at the arcade. To say she was proud was a bit much, and especially for someone like Jack where he was surely at the age of when maturity would start to show. For some reason, she believed he wouldn't be access that level of maturity any time soon. Sad to say.
Looking over to Jack, she sighed heavily as a small smile crept on her face out of the sheer humor of it all. Focusing. Had she asked too much of him?
Probably.
The hair dresser continued, clearly on a mission to get Jack out of his chair as soon as possible, and hopefully out of his salon as well. When the boy rambled on, he raised a brow and called over to the young Oneyka. She had indeed warned him about his behavior but he didn't think she had been serious. "He can't be serious..." Chuckling from the humor of it all.
"You have no idea," Without bothering to look up from the magazine this time. She figured the sooner he finished Jack's hair, the sooner she would be able to drag him away in hopes to save the hair dresser's sanity.
Once he was done with cutting and styling, he went on to brush away left over hair from Jack's face and turned the chair and handed him a mirror so that he could see the finished product from the front and back. "I believe my work here is done."

If Onnie had taken the time to tell Jack that she was proud of Jack, there was a fair chance that Jack’s head might well have exploded and blasted off into the stratosphere itself. He was a sucker for any kind of praise especially from people he enjoyed being with like Onnie or Lux he was like a dog constantly searching for some kind of approval. Looking for that even elusive pat on his head or the scratch behind the ear. Like his own personal drug.
But he wasn’t an idiot…well..most of the time anyway he could see from Onnie’s eyes that now was the time to shut the hell up and let the man do his voodoo that he do. So he just sat there kicking out his leg and twitching ever so often as the scissors lightly trailed his ever so sensitive scalp snipping away.
Until finally it was done and he could finally see the masterpiece unveiled “Yes, yes I approve of the back of my head” Jack said lightly still almost bemused by the state of his hair he had never truly see it in this way before it was all…clean…and…neat…

Had he been done already? Darn, and Oneyka had just gotten into the really good spreads in the recent Vogue magazine. She figured she could always purchase the magazine at a later date. Getting up from her seat, she grabbed both of their jackets and headed towards Jack and the hairdresser. She couldn't help the soft smile that appeared on her face once she witnessed her boyfriend's new hair. Looking at him through the bigger mirror, she smiled brightly with a nod. "You've always looked handsome, this is just an add-on."
Looking towards the hairdresser, her smile stayed put. "You've done a great job. You know I always appreciate your work. Mind charging this on my usual card, please?" With a smile and a nod, he finished brushing and cleaning off any left over hair on Jack's person. "You got it dear."
"I know it's not your normal look but if I may give my opinion. It looks amazing on you." She was tempted to touch and run her fingers through it but decided against it, for now. They both already knew how quick things could escalate once physical touch was involved. She'd spare everyone the PDA. "What do you think?" Because of course, his opinion was the one that mattered the most.
