Erin didn’t really think she would lose interest in Quinn; she didn’t really lose interest in people. She lost interest in dealing with people who were just difficult. She wanted to have friends, she wanted to have a girlfriend, but there was only so much effort she was willing and could put forth to try it. She was used to being alone and do to playing online games she still got part of the human interact that she desired, but she did want it face to face. Yet, because she had it another way, she as not willing to try forever to get something that she wanted.
She felt putting forth effort into something was stupid when you could have something easier. So having the life debt there was enough to keep her trying to pay back Quinn and get the boy to like her. There was the case that once it was paid, if he did keep pushing her away then she was going to leave him. She just hoped that by then he warmed up to her and would not push her away. She gave a shrug at his question, not really having an answer for him. She was sure she could make something up or come up with an answer if she thought about it, but she was distracted. That distraction being a cute little ferret by the name of Pips, that Quinn was going to let her hold.
“Oh yeah! I love that game, but it’s been a while since I played it.” Erin said as she thought back on the time she played the game. It was one of the few games that she could recall playing when she was younger because of her dad. He didn’t play games often but if he did there was a lot of fighting, a lot of strategy, or a combination of it all. “I’m game for trying out anything. Just don’t cry if we have to go against one another and I wipe the floor with you.” Erin said as she smirked a little, looking down to hope that Quinn didn’t see it. She was still trying to come out of her shell some more, but she was still worried about it.
“I’ll be fine. I won’t squeeze him too hard and I won’t let him go until you tell me to.” Erin assured him as she made ‘give me’ hands again. She would show that she could hold the small creature properly, and even pet it a little as she could not help but to let out a pleased giggle.
