A Twin Nightmare on Franck’s Street

"Really? That was kind of lazy of your parents." Jasper said. Like he knew he and his brother names were basically the same with only the first letter changed and that Casper was apparently a ghost name. Yet, at least their names did not mean pale white foreign boys or something. It just seemed odd to name someone something that translated into what they were. Yet, the boys had not right to actually judge, they just could not help but to judge a little bit. "Do your parents’ names translate into French Women and French Man then?" Casper asked, joking there but then the siblings both shut up.

That joke was probably crossing some lines that should not be crossed and they were not feeling like they crossed it. "Sorry." The siblings said together and then forced back on the other part of their conversation. They were still getting used to actually talking to people their own age and knowing what was okay to say and what was not okay to say. Most of the time they did not care if they upset someone because people were just their toys. yet, Franck was more than a toy, still a toy, but one that the boys did considered to be...an important one.

They remained silent as Franck went on to explain his power, Casper paying the most attention. He had always enjoyed learning and understanding about people’s powers a bit more. His desire to have them tested on himself was strong, while Jasper just liked to see what people could do with their powers. "I think I understand." Casper said with a small nod. He looked away for a moment, down at the ground as he took a moment to process it all. Observing what Franck said into his head and working it out as if it was a step by step process. "I don't. Sounds cool yet annoying is what I summed it up to be." Jasper said with his own few nods. He did get the power at the basic level but he didn't want to think too deeply about it.

The siblings did smile a little when Franck said he would not really say that they were bad. So he agreed with them, on some level at least. "Did you want to?" Jasper asked in a whisper, unable to tease Franck after he brought up not putting it in his mouth. Ah, Franck really did make it too easy for them to mess with his head. "You basically asked for it with every word that left your mouth." Casper pointed out in their defense. Jasper pointed at his brother and nodded his head in agreement. "You practically were saying, let go. Right now." Jasper said, trying to imitate Franck's voice as he spoke. Then the reveal of who Franck wanted to get into the pants of had the two of them shutting up and focusing on the movie.

As expected, Franck spoke up about the mood change, wanting to know what was wrong when the siblings didn't really want to talk about it. "Jealousy." The siblings said in unison and let the word just sit in the air for a moment to see if Franck would work out why they were upset on his own.

Franck chuckled as Jasper commented on his name. He supposed, when you know what it means, that it might seem sort of lazy. Then again, they were in no position to talk. Their parents did the oh so cliché of naming twins almost the same thing, with only one letter of difference. Franck could also point out that the only Casper he knew was a ghost and they looked pretty pale. “It’s a fairly common name. Even the current president of France is called like this,” he said. He doubted that would impress them, in fact he expected some more teasing but he didn’t mind. He had absolutely no problem with his name. He laughed again when Casper added something. They did apologize after but he was not insulted. “I very much doubt it. I have no idea what their names mean though,” he admitted. Anyone else, he might have not taking it well but there was a different what you can let a friend say and what a stranger could say.

It was always weird for Franck to explain his power. He wasn’t sure he had the proper words to do so. It wasn’t something that you could show, making it harder to explain, it was something you felt. Describing feelings were always so difficult. He had an indulgent smile towards Jasper. He didn’t seem all that interested in the hows. “I guess it is, sometimes. It’s what helps me make the difference between the two of you, since you don’t exactly feel the same way,” he replied. No need to tell them how he could end up crying for no reasons other than he was standing next to a very sad person. It was a part of his power he preferred to ignore.

Franck didn’t need to look at himself in the mirror to guess he turned red. He even cough as Jasper just asked him if he had wanted to take him in his mouth. This was something he preferred not to answer. His nervousness got him to chuckle as they teased him further. “Basically, whatever I say, I lose with you guys, right?” he asked. He didn’t seem that bothered by it though.

Franck blinked as they said they were jealous. He did get they were upset and everything but he never would have thought anything he said might make them jealous. “Really? Because I said I wouldn’t say no to him?” Franck never thought anyone could be jealous because of him. “You do realise it won’t ever happen, right? Besides, you’re the ones who got my virginity, I doubt you can give it back,” he said. He didn’t want them to be jealous, even though he kept telling himself they shouldn’t repeat what they did at the lake. “Plus, I’m the one who should be upset here. I won’t be able to sleep for a week thanks to you guys. You’re the ones who should make it up to me, not the other way around,” he let out, trying to sound like he was joking, wanting to change the subject.

The twins were proud of their name, their full names even. Even their middle names were pretty much the same but took the letter of the other twin’s first name to use for their middle name. Still, the siblings were typically very judgmental and thus viewed others less than them. That was why they saw others as toys, but Franck was special. At least, they felt a little more care for this toy then they did for the other ones. Franck still would deal with them and would not just fall off the face of the Earth. It was so hard to have any fun with people repeatedly if they all kept disappearing on them. “Ah…” The siblings said together to Franck’s words about doubting that his parent’s names meant what they had said.

Franck didn’t really seem like he was bothered by what they said, but the siblings did feel slightly bad. They were orphans, they only had their mother and then she was just gone and they never knew if she was still alive out there. That thought made them feel bad for making fun of anyone’s parents, even when they just did it at the spur of the moment. Sure they could have been the types to hate other kids because they had parents, but the brothers could never actually bring themselves to do that. If they did, that would be admitting that they cared or that they themselves were on the same level of those they saw as toys.

“You can tell the difference between us just on what we are feeling? What different?” Jasper asked, really curious. He didn’t care about the power really, but when it came to people being able to tell the difference, he wanted to know how. He wanted to be like his brother in almost every way, so was curious to hear what people thought of them and what really did separate Jasper from Casper. The siblings nodded their heads to Franck’s question on if they were going to lose either way. That was pretty much true because everything Franck said was just asking to be teased at.

Yet, they were in a mood now. They were jealous because Franck didn’t say their names and that he had picked someone that was older, meaning he probably didn’t like boys who were younger then him. “No, because you said his name.” Jasper said. They were pleased that they did get to take Franck’s innocence, but they didn’t even see that as a big thing at the moment. Now they just wanted to sulk and distract themselves with the film. “It’s fine Franck. Let’s just enjoy the movie.” Casper spoke up, giving Franck’s shoulder a pat and then the sibling’s just focusing on the film.

Franck knew that, here, his name was probably unusual. It was French after all, not a lot of people here were French or had a French name. If he was in France, of course, it would be a whole other matter. He didn't think the twins were the kind to tease about names however, considering they didn't exactly have the most common ones either. He wondered if Jasper was also the name of a ghost. It sounded like something people might have called a ghost by, or maybe it was just because it sounded so much like Casper and the two were so pale that he thought this.

He realised they felt bad, worse than they should only because of a little joke about his parents’ name. Due to the proximity, he sensed a feeling of loss along with it. Now he was the one feeling bad about it. He often forgot how lucky he was to have his father around, as so many didn’t have anyone for them anymore. He didn’t want to ask the twins about their parents but he had the feeling they were not as lucky as he was.

He was glad to leave it at that. “Well, I don’t really know you enough to be sure all the time,” he began to say, just so pointing out he could tell the difference between them might not come back to bite him when he’ll make a mistake. “No two people feel the same way, when I know someone enough, I can sometimes feel they are near even though I haven’t seen them. For you two, I just try to tell who feels what and match with what I know of you guys to make the difference. Of course, since you like being so close, it’s not always easy.” Franck winced slightly as he tried to find a way to explain why he could tell them apart. “When you arrived, the way you talked, how blunt and mischievous you were, I figured you were Jasper. Of course, you feel a lot in the same way so I might have to spend more time with you guys before I can really tell the difference all the time,” he said, figuring this was a right way to say it without any of them to sound insulted because he didn’t know the proper words to express himself.

Anyway, he found another way to upset them. “His name?” he repeated, slightly surprised. He couldn’t quite enjoy the end of the movie, and not only because it was a horror film. He didn’t think that what he said could upset them but it had and he felt bad about it. All this because he didn’t say their name? He wasn’t quite sure if what he chose to do next was entirely his doing. He kept telling himself he wouldn’t be physical with the twins anymore. “Come on,” he said softly, kissing Casper’s lips or at least what lips he could kiss from the side. He picked Casper first because he never quite knew what Jasper was able to do. But he turned towards him after. “Don’t be mad at me for this,” he added before he kissed him too. “I can keep saying your name until you make me shut up if you want. Casper and Jasper. Casper and Jasper...” he said, something teasing in his voice now, pointing at them every time he said their name, wondering how long he’ll have to do it before they actually made him shut up. Anyway, people were getting killed on screen, he could use a distraction.

The twins both listened as Franck went further into his explanation of his power and how he was able to tell the two of them apart from one another. Casper still had the most interest in the power itself, but Jasper cared to know what Franck could feel that made the two of them different. Jasper wanted to hear what feelings made them different in case they wanted to play switch up on Franck at some point. If he could tell who was who by what they were feeling then he needed to know what his brother felt most of the time so he could copy it as well. Casper was thinking along the same lines as well, but not as concerned over the matter of trying to trick Franck on whom was who.

Jasper could not help but to smile a little bit about Franck saying it was a little difficult when it came to reading the both of them. That meant that they could still be hidden from people figuring out who was who. "That does sound like Jasper." Casper said, pointing gout that Franck had pretty much hit the kind of person Jasper was spot on. Jasper was the blunter and always planning something naughty out the two of them. Casper could be just as blunt but he tended to be blunt involving other things and not really in the naughty conversation blunt like his brother. "You might have to spend more time with us? You mean you plan on spending more time with us, right?" Jasper asked that part of the conversation was the part that really caught his attention.

They were still upset but not trying to think about it. They just wanted to focus and enjoy the movie but Franck still seemed to be worried. It was nice that he cared but the brothers didn't want to talk or deal with it. They were jealous because he said someone’s name other than theirs, because that person was older, and indeed attractive. Neither of them wanted to hear Franck say the name of an older guy, but honestly they probably would have been slightly upset for him to say any other guy’s name that was not Casper or Jasper. The kiss did catch Casper by surprise, even if it was mostly on the side of his lips.

If Franck had kissed Jasper he likely would have kissed back and bit him, but since Franck picked Casper, Casper just looked at him and didn't say anything. So when Franck did go to kiss Jasper, he pulled back and chomped his teeth. Silently warning Franck if he tried to kiss him, he was going to get bit. Both the brothers did move their hands to cover Franck's mouth, first Casper would try and place his hand over Franck's lips, and then Jasper would place his hand on top of his brothers. "Shh, or we will leave." The brother said together, and they meant it. They didn't want to talk at the moment, or be touched, they didn't want to do anything but sit there and watch the movie. At least until they calmed down enough and were not angry at Franck over something so small.

Franck was glad they took it so well. They seemed to enjoy messing up with people a little by having them confused as to who they were exactly. He figured it was a funny twin trick, not that he would know, not even having a brother or sister around. He chuckled as he apparently got Jasper’s personality pretty well. He wouldn’t consider it a bad thing to be this direct. It was good to be able to say so easily what one wants, it simply was very different from the way Franck acted. Then again, the twins tended to act the opposite of what Franck would do. They did as they pleased, when it pleased them, they didn’t worry about what was right or wrong. Franck actually liked it about them and it would appear they were a bad influence on Franck as he slowly started to realise he could do as he wanted sometimes and not only what others considered the right thing to do.

He chuckled again as Jasper questioned whether or not he would want to see them again. “Have I ever said anything about not wanting to do anything with you in the future?” he replied, answering his questions with another of his own. Obviously, the twins wanted to spend time with him for they came all the way to his home. And even if Franck thought they could be dangerous temptations, he also liked this feeling of thinking outside the box with them. It was time he did things for the sheer fun of doing something.

Except they might not want to spend time with him anymore. He never would have thought mentioning that gym teacher would cause this. They seemed disappointed when the only name he gave was a celebrity. Were they expecting he would say their name? This thought made him feel worse, since he constantly try to fight back the idea of sleeping with them again. If being around two people who were upset about you was not awkward enough, feeling it as well made him feel terrible. They threatened to leave and he knew they were not joking, that they might very well do so, all because of him. This made him want to leave all the more. He was very uncomfortable between the two of them as he tried to focus on the movie. His current state made him startle even more than he expected as Freddie kept going after the characters. He even closed his eyes after one last jump scare for the end of the movie. “God I hate you so much for this one,” he said, keeping his eyes closed while they were still screaming in the movie, opening it again only once they stopped, even though the vision of all this fake blood was rather repulsive. “I’m not made for gore and horror,” he stated. As if that wasn’t obvious already.

"No, I just wanted to be sure." Jasper said, leaving it at that. The sibling’s didn’t want Franck to really have a choice in if he was going to deal with them or not. Even if he told them to go away, unless he could make them go away, they didn't plan on going anywhere. He was just too much fun to mess with and said all the right things that made teasing him easy. Franck might as well been made in a box and given to the twins as a gift, because he was just perfect for what they liked to do to people.

Well, almost perfect. There was the whole him not saying their names and saying the name of some older guy that made him less of the perfect toy. They honestly could not be mad at him, since the guy he mentioned was attractive and the twins would not mind having some fun with him. Still, they wanted Franck to say their names and to think about them in terms of wanting to get into their pants. Sure he had basically made it clear that he didn't want to do that sort of thing with them again, but they could not understand why.

They all had fun and Franck had clearly enjoyed himself so they didn't get why Franck didn't want a repeat. Franck did seem to understand that they were not kidding about that they would leave, yet he still spoke. He didn't speak about what they didn't want to talk about at the moment, but he still spoke. "We will make it up to you another time." Casper said, reaching over to put his arm around Franck to pull him closer. "Now hush and just watch the movie. We are still in a bad mood." Casper added, just wanting Franck to send there in silence and let the time go by as they watched the movie.

Jasper stayed to himself for a moment, arms crossed over his chest and debating if he even wanted to get near Franck. He honestly was the most upset about everything between the two siblings and he didn't want to talk or really be touched at the moment. He was angry then he should be, but he would get over it. He just needed silence and to not be touched at the moment. He just hoped that Frank got that vibe from him and didn't touch or say anything for the remainder of their time here.

There wasn’t much of the movie left and it was a luck for Franck as it became unbearable for him. Not only was it a slasher, horror movie, probably the type of movies he enjoyed the least as he would always jump and sometimes even have nightmares out of them, but the twins lost their carefree demeanor. He knew it was all his fault, he screwed up and he felt terrible about it. The twins didn't seem to notice or care. Had they noticed it, or known him better, they would have also known they could make him do pretty much anything they wanted, as he would be eager to correct his mistake. Instead, they stood there, silent, asking him to remain silent also. Franck could be silent but what he really wanted to do right now was leave this situation.

Instead, as it would be very impolite to leave when he was in his house, he scooted closer to Casper. He seemed slightly less upset, perhaps because he could get over it faster. Still, that negative feeling was clearly there but Franck liked this proximity as it made him believe things might sort out for the better some other time. He didn’t need Casper to say they were still in a bad mood, he felt it, but he remained quiet this time, until the end of the movie. The fact he would dream of Freddie was clear in his head but he started to wonder if the twins might not replace the killer in said dream. That would be awful.

The movie done, he slowly pulled away from Casper to replace the disc in the box. He looked at them on the couch, playing with the box, debating what exactly he should say. Clearly Jasper was still angry at him and Franck eyed towards his brother for a moment. He wanted to ask how long it might take until things would get better but he feared it would upset him even more. Still, this silence was growing awkward. “Sorry that wasn’t exactly as you wished it. I should have warned you I really don’t handle horror movies too well.” In his head however, he thought he did a pretty good job as he had not screamed like a girl or sent the popcorn flying in the air. “Sorry if I screwed it up for you,” he added s he placed their movie on their shirts on the table. He doubted they would sort it out now and so Franck secretly wished them to leave. It was better, for all of them but mostly for him.

Casper was pleased that Franck scooted closer, in a way it was him trying to comfort and also protect Franck. He did slightly understand that Franck was a bit more on the sensitive side, as he resorted to giving them both a kiss when trying to cheer them up. He clearly was the people pleasing time, but the siblings knew how to be stubborn. If they were upset they could be upset at someone for a long time but typically Casper got over something within the same day and would calm his brother down as well. For now it was just best to remain in silence and finish off the movie.

Casper could tell that his brother was calming down a bit as the movie played. It was probably do to the violence and more so gore that made his mood lean towards not being mad at Franck. It was not like the siblings hated Franck now or didn’t want to be around him anymore. They were just jealous and that jealousy just made them angry to the point of just not wanting to deal with the guy for a moment. They did make a few faces at certain points of the movie, the gore being a bit much. The movie itself was not even scary but the siblings were not worried about having any nightmares.

The siblings looked at Franck as he stood up and put the movie away. It was pretty obvious that Franck wanted to say something, but he didn’t say what they figured he was going to. “It’s fine.” Jasper said in a simple tone. He and his brother stood up, grabbing their shirts and putting them on while grabbing a hold of the rest of their belongings. “You didn’t mess it up for us. The movie itself was not as scary as we thought it would be. Thanks for having us over.” Casper said as he grabbed whatever his brother didn’t pick up. Casper looked over to his brother to silently communicate that he needed to be nicer to Franck but Jasper was already heading for the door.

He let out a sigh before going over closer to Franck, reaching out to place his hand on Franck’s shoulder. “Don’t worry about it too much Franck. It’s not that big of a deal and we will bother you again sometime.” Casper said and then went to follow after his brother to leave, but stopped and looked back at Franck again. “Feel free to stop by our room back at the school if you want someone to sleep to avoid any nightmares, you can sleep with me. In the not sex sleep with way…you know what I mean.” Casper tried to basically comfort Franck but he realized that he was not actually good at it. So he just focused on following his brother to leave.
