NAME: Paisley Elizabeth Booker
NICKNAME: N/A
AGE: 15
GENDER: Female
ORIENTATION: Unsure
POSITION: High School Student (Local)
FACE CLAIM: Shailene Woodley
POWER: Non-Powered
APPEARANCE SECTION: Paisley has half-long light brown hair that barely reaches below her shoulders. She often uses clip on hair extensions to make her hair longer, and that way she can have both short and long hair without much trouble. She very rarely styles it though, and usually keeps it hanging loose, or tie it up into a messy bun to keep it from falling in her face. She has practiced the style of using clip ons for a long time now, so she manages to do it without it noticing.
Paisley has green eyes, fair skin and wears little to no makeup. She rarely do anything more than highlight her eyes with a little mascara, and perhaps some eyeliner, though she much prefers wearing no makeup at all over wearing it. She stands about 5'8 feet above ground and weighs around 119 pounds, which makes her fairly tall for her age, and average weighed.
She isn't very girly when it comes to clothes and fashion and much prefers wearing loose fitting clothes than anything that really shows off her forms. She loves bright colors though, even if they might not fit her skin tone very well. She also prefers shorts and loose fitting jeans/overalls over dresses and sneakers over high heels. She has only tried wearing high heels once, but her poor balance didn't seem to enjoy it very much.
Everything about Paisley screams fragile and innocence. From the way she talks and walks, to the way she acts around people. She also looks like your typical 'easy target', because she's not strong, she's not fast and she doesn't draw a lot of attention to herself. She often tries making herself as invisible as she possible can. She's a wallflower by nature, and that's also the habitat she's the most comfortable with.
MUST HAVE APPAREL: A silver dragonfly necklace she got from her grandfather when she was a kid. She never takes it off and would absolutely freak if it went missing. She even wears it while sleeping and showering. She's insanely afraid of losing it and constantly makes sure that she still has it around her neck.
PERSONALITY SECTION: Paisley is the definition of positivity. Maybe not for herself, but when it comes to other people, she tries her best to ensure that everyone is happy and comfortable. She has a big heart, even to the point of being naive and downright foolish. She believes that no matter what people have done, they deserve to be treated nicely. She tries her best not to be judgemental, and she's kind of a doormat, always selflessly letting other people step all over her as long as it makes them happy. She owns next to no spine and always put other people before herself.
In Paisley's world, other people's feelings means quite a lot more than her own, and even though she knows something is wrong, she'll most likely do it just to see other people smile. She's easily manipulated and tries oh so hard to give people the benefit of the doubt. Paisley is the kind of person who will give and give until she has nothing left to give and expect absolutely nothing in return. She is also very emotional and is easily touched. She cries a lot, but she tries hiding it so she doesn't make other people uncomfortable.
Being a very shy girl, Paisley finds it hard to make friends. She doesn't like huge crowds of people, and she's not particularly fond of talking either. She's deathly afraid of talking in front of a lot of people, or have the attention of many people at once. She blushes a lot and it's very obvious that she is uncomfortable around people she doesn't know. The older and more bold the person is, the much more flustered she will be. But that doesn't mean Paisley is dumb; She's actually quite mature and smart for her age, but it's not something she likes to brag about, or even show off. Paisley also loves to laugh.
However, irony is something that'll pass her head like nothing. The same thing goes for certain jokes; Especially sexual jokes. She's far too innocent to get them (at least, in most cases), and will most likely just sit there and smile. The topic of sex, romances and kissing freaks her out to no end, and it secretly makes her glad she has experienced neither. Of course, just like every other teenager girl, she too wishes to be swept off her feet, but she doesn't really mind things being the way they are now.
EXTRA QUIRK: Paisley absolutely adores animals and practically melts whenever she sees or is around one. She's even more of a doormat when it comes to animals than what she is with people, and there is absolutely nothing she wouldn't do for them.

CHILDHOOD: Paisley was born and raised in Kalispell, Montana. She was born with a severe form of asthma which made it a little different for her to do everything all the other kids could do. This ensured that Paisley often missed out on stuff, which quickly made her quite the shy and antisocial young girl. She had a hard time making friends, but that didn't change her view or attitude on life one bit. It was obvious that even from an early age, James and Faith had given birth to quite the positive and kind child as she often did everything in her power to help others out.
She was never really bullied, but even so, Paisley seemed to shy away from the larger crowds of people and only managed to make a select few friends. During kindergarten and school she was more of a wallflower that kept to her own company rather than hanging out with other kids her own age. Spending most of her free time reading or drawing, Paisley's positive attitude only grew as she she grew older.
She was a very loved child and had a great relationship to her parents, although she was much closer to her grandfather on her father's side and often spent her time watching him in his workshop, building clocks.
Nothing really out of the ordinary happened during Paisley's life, but even so, she was very content with her life and the few people in it. She was an only child, but that didn't mean her parents spoiled her. She was a very responsible young girl who followed the rules that had been set for her without question.
ADOLESCENCE: Entering her teenager years was an easy feat for Paisley, and even high school didn't really change much for her. She continued doing her own thing and mostly focused on school, rather than those kinds of things that teenagers most focus on as they grow older. She had little to no interest in romances (at least not outside movies and books), and quite honestly, she was quite content with that.
With the asthma only growing worse the older she got, Paisley spent a lot of time in the hospital with both therapy and medications not really working. She had to stay away from anything psychically straining, which was one of the reasons Paisley grew fonder of books, arts and movies, but also something that pulled her even further from a social life than what she was already.
Things didn't really change much as Paisley grew older. Life continued the way it always had and she managed to stay sheltered from the 'invasion' of mutants that seemed to traffic through the town. Even to this day, Paisley knows nothing about the mutant population that has taken residence in the small town of Kalispell for the past 100-200 years.
Paisley is currently focusing on school and trying to figure out where she belongs in this world, just like every other teenager has to go through. She's having a hard time figuring out who she is, and who she wants to be. But she hopes that with time, it'll all be clear. Secretly though, the young girl wishes for a life full of adventures and fairy tales, but even she isn't naive enough to believe in something as silly as magic and supernatural beings.
