[CT] It's Always When You Have to Pee

She saw the surprise in Demi's eyes when Roxana commented on how Demi smelled, not that Roxana had a super sensitive nose. Just the scent on demi was strong, but not unpleasant do to the combination of pine and the soil. It very much felt like a relaxing nature smell that you only got when you actually went to the heart of nature. It was calming for Roxana in a way and if Demi smelled liked this over mud, she would be happy any day with it. That didn't mean that she wanted any of it thrown at her. She was fine with her lack of real small to her, other than the scent that everyone had to them. Demi furrowed her brows and then was demanding Roxana tell her where she had heard the name Ceres from. Well technically Roxana heard it from a few places but she didn't really need to tell Demi of all said places.

"It's a pretty name." Roxana went for a weak subject change on the matter as she was more curious with how Demi was reacting to Roxana knowing the women’s name. So clearly there was a high emotional attachment of some nature to Ceres. Demi was clearly getting angry and Roxana could also hear and see the rumbling coming from the ground. She really was at a disadvantage against Demi here. She needed to get somewhere with thicker trees that would cause roots to be in the way and perhaps make picking up the soil a little difficult. She didn't know too much about earth mutant related powers, but she was quickly learning fast with the most interactions she was having with Demi. A command hissed left Demi's lips as she demanded Roxana tell her how she knew about her.

Well there was no way she was going to get out of this without at least saying something. Didn't have to be the truth, but if not then it would have to be a good lie. "You said her name before." Roxana went with that, figuring that it could work that Demi would buy the whole slip out information. She did get angry a lot and things did often slip from Demi’s mouth and that was what helped Roxana to learn about her.

Pretty? Then again, people did seem to think that the various names that Demi knew were "pretty." She thought they were pretty awesome herself, and she was half tempted to say as much to Rox directly. The other questions weighed more heavily on Demi though; she wanted to hear those answers, and she wasn't going to let something else, even something like a stupid comment, distract her from that.

The response did catch Demi slightly off guard. She stared at Rox, trying to think, remember. Proved rather difficult as that whole urge to find somewhere to unleash her bladder certainly hadn't dimmed. Had she mentioned Ceres? She had to a few people; she could remember that. But to Rox?

"No I didn't," she said, her eyes narrowing. "Why would I have told you her name?" Demi's eyes locked on Rox, and suddenly the other girl looked a lot more dangerous. Demi rolled her shoulders, pulling and popping all the dust and debris off her body to rise in a sort of orbit around her. She kept her attentions wholly on Rox. She didn't even look angered, just focused, determined. The dirt and dust responded to Demi's mind, already starting to move. She breathed evenly too.

Rox hadn't angered her; she'd threatened her family group. That was crossing a line as far as Demi was concerned, and she was more than willing to bury the other girl for it.

Demi didn't seem like she was going on with the whole subject change that was not really a subject change but more of a way to add to the conversation that didn't involve strictly talks about how Roxana knew about the women. She knew the name, but other than that she didn't know anything else. That was why she needed to get to know Demi more so the younger girl would end up slipping information or in general just telling Roxana the things she needed to know. There was an inside man on the job looking into The Inherited that was going to be regularly seeming Roxana some information on them, but nothing had come in yet. She just knew the basics about the people and what they were.

Demi stared at her when she told her that Demi was the one to say the name, but demi didn't even look like she was sure about it. Had Demi in fact thought she told Roxana or no? The answer was given that had Roxana letting out a deep sigh, figuring that even if demi did recall that she told Roxana she would not admit to it. After all Demi had her pride about her, and Roxana could easily see Demi denying such a thing. Why would Demi tell her that name? Roxana could think up of several reasons but went with the one that she felt would work best considering what they talked about. "To say who would be the one to come pick you up when they school would take away your powers. She is someone important to you after all. So would it be safe to assume that she is your mother or a woman that raised you?" Roxana first told demi why Demi might have told her and then followed it up with a question. A question she wanted the answer to or at least a good enough reaction that she would be able to get a clear idea of just who this Ceres was to Demi.

She could see how focused demi was; it was not something that she was used to seeing on the younger girl. Normally it was something more like anger and outright age, but this was focus and determination. Clearly talk about people in Demi's Inherited family was a topic that would come at the price of probably having to get into a fight. Roxana again shifter her stance as she already was working on forming small crystal daggers between her fingers. Well to be more accurate, she was making crystal needles, smaller, harder to see, and possibly would give her that edge she needed in order to make it harder for Demi to control them. "It's good to see that you care about them." Roxana went ahead and said it; again seeking out a reaction, but at the same time meant it.

Demi kept her attention focused on Roxana, drawing on those years of martial arts and combat training. She remained wholly calm, wholly focused, even compartmentalizing the pained, tingling sensation of needing to urinate that had pretty well dominated her for most of the conversation. She listened intently as Roxana spoke, the words not seeming to relax her in the slightest.

"You're wrong about a lot of stuff there," she said. She rose her hand then, the spiraling dirt and dust around it. "And you'd better stop talking about her, unless you want me to bury you."

Demi said that with certainty. She'd barely fought Rox to a standstill before, but she hadn't been nearly this focused before, hadn't been in her environment. Her eyes narrowed, but her body remained completely still. Good that she cared about them? "They're my family," said Demi, throwing weight behind the word, "and I don't like people talking about them. You shouldn't know any of that," she clenched her fist, the dirt pulling to match her movement, circling tight about it, obviously ready to shoot off at the slightest twitch from the girl holding it in place. The strain of doing it didn't even seem to bother Demi, though of course her well-trained body felt it. Came with readying yourself for your power and all.

Roxana was well trained; she had years on Demi in terms of her power as well as her physical and mental training. Roxana was still confident that she could beat Demi in a fair fight if she gave it her all. Even still, it would more than likely take a lot out of her and counterproductive to what she was supposed to do. She was supposed to learn about Demi and her people, not get into a fight with demi every time she ran into the other girl; or was hit by a was of dirt, yes she was not going to just let that go. They were also in the woods, a place where there was a lot of soil Demi could get her hands on. If that was not all, there was also the fact that Roxana was going to have to figure out how to change her crystals in such a way that Demi would not be able to control them on even a small level. There were aspects to them that still made them apart of the earth, and therefore a little bit at Demi's control if she got her hands on them.

So yes, fighting Demi here would have been stupid and while she figured she would end up winning in some way the risk of it all were too high. She would end up draining a lot of her power, possibly attracting attention, and also further causing Demi to hate and be on her guard around her compared to relaxing a little bit and coughing up some information. Demi revealed that she was wrong about a lot of stuff three, well that was also helping Roxana figure out things. "Well if I'm wrong there, then you have nothing to worry about, right?" Roxana pointed out, since if she was wrong, then there was no need for Demi to feel hostile. Roxana could not help but to smile at the threat of being buried, believing that Demi would do just that but it was still cute to be threatened by someone smaller and younger then you. Not that Roxana was underestimating her, she saw what Demi could do and now that demi was in her element, she was probably even strong.

Just imagine if you had to fight her on a dirt farm. Roxana thought to herself, feeling like she would end up having mud all through her body if that were the case. Roxana went silent then, nodding as Demi said that they were her family, she didn't like people talking about them, and that Roxana should not know any of that. Demi really was getting ready for a fight, but Roxana held her ground, weighing her options on what she could and should do. Demi could control her power by moving her body, so the only way to stop that would be to keep demi from moving, or at least keep her from moving smoothly, but that would cause injury. Injury that while demi would avoid staff, when they did find her they would ask about where she got them and demi could say something about Roxana. Her best bet was to submit, that would for sure give Demi an ego boost and as well as would be something Roxana would hear about later she was sure.

"I'm impressed that you are still holding your bladder. With what there being a lake somewhere around here, the sound of trickling water. Just dripping and dropping. Even the cicadas sounds a little like the sound made when a person pees." Roxana said and then even imitated the sound, as she went on about the whole peeing thing, honestly being impressed that Demi was still holding it. Plus a subject change, there was that.

Could Demi win? she thought so, especially right now. She had the environment and purpose on her side, not to mention all that training and stuff. Then again, Rox had done her share of training too, and she was older than Demi, and had probably gotten into more "real" fights. Not like Demi really cared all that much anyway: she'd fight Rox one way or the other, especially the way the other girl kept going on. The dirt and dust kept spiraling about Demi, ready to launch at the slightest moment.

"You know," she reiterated, her voice hard. It was enough. And Rox was being way too coy. Demi was going to have to do something. She took another breath, shifting her stand imperceptibly, twisting and rolling her body and getting ready. Just as she was about to, Rox started talking. Demi froze in place, wondering just what the heck Rox was...

... oh, oh that was so not fair!

"That's not fair!" Demi yelled. She let out a quick blast of dirt and dust and started sprinting off in the other direction, effectively using the blast as a dust cloud to try and hide her moments. She'd been doing great at blocking the sensation and all, but even she couldn't hold it forever. Especially not when someone cheated and started talking like that. "You just knew I was gonna beat you up!" she yelled, ducking around behind a tree. Demi hazarded a look over her shoulder and around the tree, glaring at Rox, "you'd better not peek! Or I'm really gonna bury you." Stupid ties on her pants were really annoying right now, that was for sure.

Demi seemed like she was getting ready to say something to Roxana, the tone of it was hard like Demi was fed up. Almost as if Roxana said the last words that were enough to piss Demi off. Thankfully Roxana had still gone one and brought up the whole fact that Demi was still holding her bladder. It really was impressive to Roxana and she honestly could not help but to bring it up, point it out, and see if she could make it work. An accomplished smirk spread across Roxana's lips as Demi clearly had been affected by her words. Yelling at her that what Rox had just done was not fair and let out a blast of dirt. Roxana was quick to get ready to throw her crystal dagger, but soon it became clear that Demi was using it more of like a 'smoke screen'. Joy, floating dirt that made it a little bit difficult to breath and also got in your eyes a little bit.

It was very...cute; Roxana was going to go with cute for now, with how Demi said that it was not fair and then proceeded to do the whole covering herself so that Roxana could not see her moving off to more than likely use the bathroom. This was actually the perfect time to sneak off and let Demi get back to what she was doing and let Roxana get out of here without a fight. Still, she did tell the other girl she would not leave while demi went off to the bathroom, but that was before. Plus she figured they were done here and that Demi would not be upset if Roxana just left. She could not help but to snicker just a little bit at hearing Demi's voice tell her to not peek or else she would bury her. "Promise I won't." Roxana said with a small smile and was very much tempted to say that if Demi didn't go far enough then it would be possibly for Roxana to possibly hear her doing her business. She left that out, not wanting Demi to end up exploding for holding it too long, it was not food for her bladder.

"I won't peek and even better I'll head out so you won’t have to deal with me killing your fun." Roxana said with the whole fun part with her own silent air quotes in there. She was already carefully starting to back away, but honestly with the dirt still around she was not fully sure which way to go and did not want to end up falling into a trap. So she was trying to move carefully away and out of the little dusk cloud Demi had kicked up so she could get her bearings.

Okay, not looking, that was a good thing. Though Demi still wasn't sure whether or not she could actually trust Rox. She leaned more toward "not" then actually doing so, but, well, she didn't exactly have much choice. By now it was pretty much just go with it and hope that the idiot was true to her word or wet herself. Plus, Demi figured that if Rox did break her word, that meant that Demi could go attack her.

"Yeah, that's a good idea!" said Demi, nodding as if it were her own. "You just run away like a good little wuss!" Oh thank the Ancestors: Demi's pants had finally come undone. Soon she could shuck them free and get down on the business at hand. Though, she made sure to wave her hands first, creating a pretty decent cloud around her. Sure, that meant that anyone looking her way could behold a somewhat obvious cloud and all, but they couldn't see Demi, and that's what she cared about right now.

Because that meant she could focus on just getting relief. To be sure, Demi still listened, her sensed hadn't dulled just because she'd finally gotten around to peeing. She wanted to know whether the girl actually lived up to her word. Be even better if Rox toddled off and managed to land right in one of Demi's traps. That would just be so awesome...

but Demi didn't think it would actually happen. She just hoped.

Demi really didn't have to worry about Roxana going to try and take a peek, she didn't have any kinks or what have you that involved seeing someone do their business. That was their business and while if it was don’t in front of her she would not really care or react, she would not go out of her way to be 'a part of the moment' or what have you. More importantly, Roxana was a person of her word because if you didn't have your word and someone didn't trust you then you had nothing. Granted, you had to at least trust someone’s word so that was still a form of trust but a selective kind. Roxana did stop moving at Demi's latter words about leaving like a wuss. Am I really going to allow myself to be baited? Roxana asked herself mentally as she stood there, debating the matter.

Sentences like the one demi just used were for goading, to get the enemy to 'stoop to your level'. Make them want to stick around and get into a confutation with you instead of it being a one sided things. Roxana liked to think that she was mature enough at this point in her life that goading would not get to her. Yet, being called a little wuss bothered her. Maybe it was because it was coming from Demi or that she didn't like to be called a wuss. Honestly Roxana didn't even know why she was debating this with herself and just decided to go for middle ground. She would remain there until Demi was done her business. That way she would show she was true to her word, not a wuss, and she could leave right after. She didn't think Demi would run after her and like jump on her back to bring her down or something.

It would be comical yes if Demi did attack her and they both ended up in one of Demi's traps, but then Rox would be at a greater disadvantage. Roxana stood firm then in her spot, playing with a crystal dagger in her hand. Twirling it around in her hand and being careful to not cut herself with the sharp in of the crystal creation. She was so blaming her rebel side that was making her stay here to just be there when Demi was done. Then she would simply give Demi a simple look with more than likely a small smile on her face, just because she was in a pretty good mood after having Demi run off to the bathroom to tend to her bladder. "Demi, when you are done with your camping trip, I would like for you to tell me how many people you managed to end up in your traps." Roxana said after a moment, wanting demi to be the one to seek her out for a particular reason.

She wanted to one see if Demi would do it; say it could be for bragging right. She wanted to hear how Demi's camping trip went and she wanted to see Demi's tracking ability, if she would be able to find Roxana if she really wanted to.

Ah, sweet, sweet relief. felt awesome to finally void the bladder after holding it for arguably too long. But when you were a warrior fighting for a brave cause and all, you could only afford to pee when the opportunity presented itself. Yeah, this was totally a tactical decision and definitely not based on being taunted into it or...

wait, Rox was still around? Demi frowned as she heard the other girl's voice, twisting to look around the tree slightly. She'd more or less finished, doing the last few bits of necessaries before getting her pants pulled back up. Rox wanted... what, a report on how many people landed in Demi's traps?

"Like I know how many people landed in them!" said Demi, snorting. She finished with her pants, pulling them up and tying the fastenings before coming back around. "It's not like I stand around and wait for people to fall in them. I'm totally moving and stuff," Demi nodded, then looked up, smirking. "But I do know that I've already caught, like, three people. Found two in a trap and another one had been all excavated and junk."

Demi nodded a couple of times before frowning at Rox, frowning and raising a dusty arm up to point accusatorily at the older girl. "Weren't you gonna leave? So knew you were one of those perverts that liked listening to people pee," she smirked, thrilled to have a new insult to regularly toss at a rival.

Roxana made sure to hum to herself a little in her head and somewhat out loud a song she was familiar with back home to prevent her from overhearing Demi do her business. Not that she cared much if she did or not, but she figured give the girl her privacy since she didn't think Demi would be a fan of her paying attention to her doing her business. Plus she was already invading the girls person life more than Demi would certainly like if she knew just how close of an eye Roxana had on Demi and the things she had done in order to make looking after the younger girl a little easier for her with all the other targets she had to look after. Cameras had basically become her best friend and part of her wished she had a power related to them, but loved her ability far too much to ever want to have been born with someone different. Unless it was something like what her older siblings had, then her organization would see her as at least a little bit more useful.

Roxana smirked a little as Demi went on to explain that she didn't know outright how many would or had fallen into her traps. She was on the move and didn't have time to stand around and watch her prey fall into her traps. There was then a smirk on the young girls face as she proudly reported that she had at least caught three people, that were pretty good. "I see, thank you for letting me know. If you do happen to recall or find out just how many people you end up trapping I would like to know. Hear of your success and skills." Roxana said as she ran a hand through her own hair, enjoying how soft it was and was just pleased that it was not covered in mud the last time she had a face to face encounter with Demi.

Rox then raised an eyebrow at Demi suddenly pointing at her and just smirked again for a moment at the question. "I was and sorry to disappoint you but I personally don't enjoy hearing other pee." Roxana said as she turned to head off then giving Demi a small hand wave. "Until next time Demi." Roxana said in a simple tone and when she was a good enough distance away she turned around and stopped to look back at Demi for a moment. "By the way. You are...interesting cute when you have to use the bathroom." Roxana said and then was quickly gone behind a tree and moving to get back to her work.

Demi wasn't sure whether or not the offer to listen to how many people she caught was a trick. It sounded tricky, like one of those things the older people around here said to get Demi to do what she wanted. Still, she didn't see any reason not to brag to the other girl about it. So she nodded, grinning widely as she thought of the fun that she was definitely going to have later.

Said grin didn't last, however, as Rox gave a pathetic retort before leaving to go. Demi stepped forward, ready to shout or throw something back. Rox spoke again, and then added something that had Demi letting out a frustrated yell and flinging a pretty impressive clod of dirt at Rox. The older girl had already taken off though.

Demi let out a heavy breath of frustration before scuffling at the dirt with her feet. She spent a few more moments with her arms crossed over her chest, walking over the area and letting off steam. Then she remembered she had more traps to check and make, and that she shouldn't let some stupid random girl bother her. With that in mind, Demi took off for the woods again, to become the dirt gnome that all would fear and dread.
