GRAYSON, ANTHONY, RYKER
23//MALE//HETERO//ADOMOPATHY//COACH//LIAM HEMSWORTH
POWER INFO:
Adomopathy is the lovely ability to see something done, and then perform it flawlessly. All it takes is for him to watch it once, however, this is mostly physical abilities that can be copied. He can only retain the knowledge for a few weeks, before it slips from his mind. As he has grown, so has his memory. As of now, he can hold on to the memory for several weeks. The only way he can keep the ability is if he hones the skill.
Gray's hippocampus does not decide what's worth remembering and what is not; rather, it keeps all his memories. But in order to keep from overwhelming his mind, it dumps all those temporary memories. In order for him to really retain it, he has to fully watch whatever he wants to imitate, or the brain will filter it out as another minute detail. When he does focus, his brain focuses on every little thing at happens. It commits it to his memory; and when it comes time to send the electrical impulses to his brain, it is already drilled into him and waiting to be used. Basically, he has strong muscle memory, because he can only memorize what he sees.
Gray grew up with a normal childhood. His mother and father were high school sweethearts, and she gave birth to Grayson Anthony on October fifth, a year after they married. He was an only child, so he was spoiled beyond reason. Gray was taught to expect the best, but do not let having the best make you cocky. His parents raised him to be humble, and over the years he also became submissive. Gray hates conflict, so he will do anything to avoid it.
At the ripe age of thirteen, he began to notice his abilities. He was watching a baseball game with his dad and watched as the hitter made a home run. The day after, little Gray made a perfect home run playing catch with his father. That night, he watched his mother prepare a celebratory dinner of steak, lobster, and creme brulle. Since he was so thankful for the meal, he decided to make her the same exact meal for lunch the next day.
His parents watched as he picked up skills so easily, but a week later he could not perform any of them again. Very few things did Grayson hold on to and learn. They decided to find a place to send him that could help him grow in a way they could not. Bellefonte made their list, and it was the best choice they ever made. He had a great time at the academy; playing sports and spending time developing skills while, at the same time, increasing his retention rate of his power.
He honed his power very easily, so he graduated when he was eighteen. Gray stayed to study at the local college, and became a teacher. He wanted to give back to the academy that so graciously helped him. It was the least that he could do. Grayson has been at the academy, teaching sports, for the past year, and he's just as happy as he was when he was attending Bellefonte. He's a pretty optimistic, and easy going guy. Life is a breeze for Mr. Ryker.
