NAME: Akito, Saiki, Koyama
NICKNAME: Aki, Kito
AGE: 18
GENDER: Male
ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
POSITION: College Student
FACE CLAIM: Choi Minho
POWER: Hypnotic Music
Akito has the ability to use his voice as a way to hypnotize people (the ability works through a mental link, much like any other 'mind controlling' ability), and this is done through singing, preferable by using his guitar, though this has nothing to do with his actual power, apart from him finding it easier. He can sing any song, as the only thing that matters is his voice, and not the song or tune itself.
Akito prefers using his guitar, because he feels as if it helps him sing the notes better and ensures a more direct connection with his target(s).
Once hypnotized, Akito can give his target any given command, and they will be forced to obey, as long as it does not go against their moral code (Basically, he cannot make someone kill themselves if this is not in their persona).
To snap out of the state the hypnotized target is put under, the target needs someone (anyone) to either snap their fingers, or cause some form of physical harm to them.
Limitations:
- Akito's power only works in a 4ft radius.
- The usage of this ability has left Akito feeling arrogant as he thinks he has complete control over people, and can make them do anything he wishes.
- Akito's power only lasts for about one minute, and he cannot force anyone to do something that isn't in their persona, such as killing themselves, hurting themselves and/or others.
- People who cannot hear him singing by being too far away, having hearing problems or have headphones in (Basically, anything that deafens or blocks out sound) will be unaffected by his power. The same things goes for mutants who have the ability to block out certain mental powers (Mental shields, psionic white noise, etc)
Side-Effects: Some of the side-effects that Akito encounters is sore throat or strep throat, loss of voice, headaches and/or migraines, and fatigue from overusing both his voice and his mind. On rare occasions, when he goes longer than a minute, he gets a nosebleed or ends up getting sick, but as stated, it is a very rare occurrence.
APPEARANCE SECTION: Akito possesses some of the typical traits of a Japanese man, and some of the American man. The first thing you'll notice is his black hair, which falls over his ears and creates a swooping bang on his forehead, covering his bushy eyebrows. His skin is a darker color, not typical of the Japanese race, and his eyes are a chocolate brown. He cleans up very nicely, and his clothes are that of the highest quality because of his parents.
Akito's build is that of an athlete, even though he doesn't consider himself to be one. He has abs and a slender build, as his high metabolism along with the dancing he does keeps him slim and toned. He stands at about 6'1 and weighs a cool 175 lbs. When he dresses, he dresses to impress 24/7, unless he's in a lazy mood, where he'll wear either a hoodie and sweatpants or a t-shirt and shorts, depending on the weather. He also likes to show off his dragon and Japanese symbols tattoos that stand for the word 'Dream'.
MUST HAVE APPAREL: Given that his father is a famous singer, Akito always wears name brand clothes, even when he's just lounging around. He always tries to look his best, and the one thing he never takes off is a yin and yang necklace that also has a dragon design on it. His father gave it to him when he was just three years old, and the only time he takes it off is when he's showering or sleeping. He even has a special box that he keeps it in and hides it in a certain place to ensure that it stays safe.
PERSONALITY SECTION: On the outside, Akito is arrogant. Having been raised as a rich kid, he expects things to be handed to him, and thinks that he's the best in the world, and sometimes that gets him in trouble. He has tried to tone it down a bit, but it has been hard as it is a habit, and habits are hard to break. However, despite his arrogance, he is curious to either learn something new that he does't know how to do yet, or wants to learn how to do better. He also curious about getting to know people, as you will find in his history that he has struggled to keep friends.
Akito is smart, very smart, but when he gets bored, tends to day dream about his future career in following his father's footsteps and becoming a famous singer. He likes to sing a lot, both publicly and privately, and he plays the guitar as if it were second nature to him. Most of his song ideas come from when he day dreams. This leads to his creative side, where most of his song ideas are put into lyrics and created into songs. He always carries a journal with him where he writes down any ideas of potential songs no matter where they come from.
However, his arrogance and everything that you see on the outside is only a cover to what is happening on the inside. To cover up his insecurities and the fact that he really feels alone, he uses his arrogance as a sort of mask to disguise his true feelings. He only reveals those to friends that he really trusts, and it will take a bit for him to earn your trust. He has the bad boy appearance and attitude to go with it, but what really lies underneath is a man who just wants to be liked and wants to have friends.
EXTRA QUIRK: When Akito gets nervous, he rubs the dragon and Japanese symbols tattoos on his arm for comfort.

CHILDHOOD: Akito and his family are originally from Japan, but his father's singing career took off in the U.S.A., which caused them to have to move to Los Angeles, California when he was just three years old. From there, his father became a huge star in the singing business, and since his mother was the manager, he hardly ever saw his parents. After they ended up getting rich and buying a mansion, Akito was stuck inside the million dollar house, having no one to play with.
Given that fact, Akito taught himself all kinds of things, and that's why he's so smart. He went to the library every day, reading books made for children and adults alike. He also received lessons from a private tutor, but got bored with the lessons and ended up day dreaming most of the time. His parents, when they did get a day or two, usually stopped in to check on him, and they decided that one day they would send him to a regular school and see if that would improve his mood. However, his insecurities and aloneness took over, and to hide that, he became arrogant, and therefore only had a few friends, if you could even call them that. Akito had planned on going to high school, but that all changed when his power manifested.
ADOLESCENCE: Akito's power manifested one day at the age of 14 when he was waiting after school for his limo driver to pick him up. He had gotten used to the oohs and ahhs that usually accompanied the arrival of the limo, and to help him tune them out, he decided to start playing his guitar to pass the time. As he played, he noticed that a crowd started to gather, but they weren't cheering him on or booing him. In fact, they were standing there with blank stares on their faces, as if they were zombies. He thought it was weird, and when he told them to go away, they obeyed. He thought it was just a freak thing and waved it off, until the same thing happened the next day, which was a Saturday. The only difference? He was playing in the park, and all ages stopped and stared blankly at him, though it was only about a 4 foot radius.
Akito decided to try something new, and instead of telling the people to simply go away lie he did last time, he told them all to dance as he played. They obeyed, even though some of them sucked at dancing. It was then that he realized that something was wrong with him, and he rushed home to try and research it. However, he found nothing, and instead decided to experiment with it. So, he used his butlers and maids as guinea pigs, and during one of his experiments, a recruiter came to the door. Thinking he was just a salesman, Akito slammed the door in his face, and continued on with his experiment. About an hour later, the same man returned, and explained how he was from the Bellefonte Academy for meta-human, which Akito was.
At first Akito didn't trust him, and after several phone calls, he convinced his mother to come home for a few days because it was 'urgent'. She did, and after consulting with both the recruiter and Akito about his power, the extent of it, and how he could improve the control of it, she agreed to send him to Bellfonte Academy. Three years later and he still hasn't managed to perfect his ability to what he wants it to be, so Akito has decided to enroll in college, where his story continues.
