"If you are not the same height as me, then you are little." Cyril responded with a small snicker. Since she was not his height, she was therefore shorter to him and if you were shorter then him he was going to call you little. Sure he was only six foot one, but that was still taller than her. Plus he felt like being in the six foot range already classified him as tall since he did not know too many people who were that tall. Well that was a lie; he knew people taller than him and then peoples a lot shorter then him. He was okay with it all because the outside was not what matter in the case of who you were friends with and he liked to see the difference among people. Especially females, because he was a very straight man after all, and he appreciated the ladies, but he was a good man. There would be no way he would ever do anything with a student, that would be like if he messed around with this sister. a no-no.
"I am in fact a vet." Cyril said with a nod and a pleased smile with himself for having gotten through the schooling. Even if he would never do it again, he had the license and he pretty much could take care of all aspects of the horse’s lives. This was good because Cyril loved horses and was only fine with sharing them with students. Yet he still allow other adults to help out as well come down and ride anytime they felt like it if they had passed and had the proper okays for ridding. Main thing was that he just wanted to make sure both the rider and the horse were safe. He listened closely as she explained the time she would go out horseback riding and how at first she was really scared but then when she got off she wanted to get back on. Good, need members that really enjoy it. Cyril thought to himself, but he would not have been against someone who was scared of horses joining up because then he could help them learn to love it.
He gave a small nod, watching where they were going and watching how she was walking Heiress while she talked. It was not a complicated task to walk and talk at the same time, so long as you were still aware of the horse as well as your surroundings. Liz seemed to be doing a good job at that, so Cyril was not all that worried. It was nice to hear Liz opening up in a way and telling him a little bit about her personal life and past. Seemed like he was already hitting it off and forming a bond with the students, which was equally as good. "He sounds like a really great guy." Cyril said, catching at the tone of how Liz said it and the smile on her face. She asked him a question back which made him chuckle a little as the left the stables and was getting closer to the pastures. "Not at all. I'm from the UK and while we do have horses, a lot of them were really small unless we are talking about the ones that pulled around the carriages, but I helped out a lot around stables. I just, fell in love with horses from the moment I saw on up close." Cyril explained and that really was all there was to it. Just by seeing the animal he developed the love he pretty much had for them to this date.
"But enough about my old man tales." Cyril said as he lifted up a bit of Heiress's tail, which she proceed to give him a quick flick with it. "You are doing an excellent job walking her. I can already tell that we won't even have to wait too long until you are cleared to come down here and ride her all by yourself. The stables do close down at nine p.m. Keep with the whole youngest kids being in bed." Cyril said so that Liz knew that she could come down at any time before that time when the horses would be locked up for the night. He looked around and dropped his voice to more of a stage whisper, which he might as well not been whispering but it was Cyril. "There will be a night ride at some point with club members, but don’t tell anyone I told you. It's still in the works." Cyril explained and gave her a smile. Horses could not really see that well at night and plus the club had different age groups, so he had to get clearance and have the trail set up just right so the horses would be fine in the star light travel.
