Nap in The Darkness

Devyn had been tired, nothing really new since she tended to be very lazy when she was not doing anything. She had been out late last night and may have had a few drinks, not that she enjoyed drinking or anything, but a few never hurt. However Devyn was a lightweight, after at most four drinks she would be pretty drunk. She still was able to function and find her way back home, but she was a lot loopier and her flirting and physical contact with people increased. She really should not have been drinking. She was only seventeen years old after all. She didn’t get horrible hang overs, everything she ate and drank burned through her body pretty quickly. So it too effect faster but also didn’t stay in her system as lone, which was good because she was not for throwing up and all the negative results of drinking.

She still had a small headache to deal with, and that was why she was napping. She had was all done with classes, but didn’t seem to have enough drive to make it back to her dorm, so instead headed to the library. It was a nice place to nap because there were hiding spots and dark corners she could fall asleep. Plus because it was the library she did not have to worry about hearing a lot of voices.

She found a nice table hidden within the shadows and it was just the perfect place for a person with Devyn’s powers. She still kept her shades on as she literally crawled on top of the table, made herself comfortable, and dozed off. She just needed a quick power nap and she would be fine. Plus lying in the shadows was nice and made her feel energized a little. Lying on top of the table was not really comfortable, but she would not have to worry about smacking her head on the table when she would go to sit up.

Your library is your paradise.

Skye sighed as he grabbed his homework off his desk and headed out of his dorm, his roommates were being too loud. So he gathered his stuff and headed towards his sanctuary, the school Library. He tried to push his way past the crowds of other students but they kept blocking the hall ways so he stepped into a shadowy portion and Shadow Traveled to a corner in the Library. He got some more books to work on his English assignment then went to 'his' corner, no one else sat at the table in the corner only he did so he put a claim on it pretty much.

When he reached the table he looked at the androgynous person asleep on the table top and raised an eyebrow. He gently sat his books in a chair then walked over to the girl (he guessed from the slight boobs) and lightly tapped her on her shoulder, if that didn't work he was going to shake her shoulders but he stepped back for a little to see if the tapping worked. When he got little to no response he shook her shoulder, then spoke.

"Hello! Hey! Wake up please. Can you go sleep somewhere or at least get off the table? I need it to work." He was being very nice for once, maybe his roommates didn't annoy him as much as he thought, or maybe it was the feeling that he had something, he didn't know what, but something, somehow in common with the girl. He pushed the shadows away slightly so that a little more light moved towards the corner so that he could see his work and hopefully wake the girl.

Devyn had not planned on fully falling asleep as she had done. She just wanted a quick power nap and figured since the table was not all the comfy she would just get a quick one in and then be fine. However her headache must have been worse then she thought because as soon as she had gotten comfy and dozed off, she was completely out of it. Already in a good REM stage sleep. It was not that Devyn was a heavy sleeper or anything; it was more so that she had a hard time fully waking up. So she did feel that someone was coming closer, she could hear them, but she didn’t move. She let out a low mumble grow, warning the person, but it was more of a mumble so someone could easily miss that she was giving them a warning growl. The tap didn’t really do anything, she was comfy and resting so didn’t move or react. Then she felt shaking to her shoulder and did start to growl. Nooo, let me sleep. Devyn complained in her mind as she moved slightly to roll over to her side .

She growled a little louder as she moves to gesture her hand as if telling him to shoo and go away. “Why should I? I’m completely comfy right here, where I am.” Devyn’s words came out a little mumbled as she went to curl up a little on the table. He could read around her or just do his work on her. Heck he could go to another table. She didn’t see anyone’s name on it and other then this boy’s scent being in the area heavily, she didn’t take it as a marking of any sorts. If it was he did it wrong. She was happy she had her shades on when the shadows moved away and the sun was on her, making her go to roll on her other side because she was still not awake enough to actually sit up. “Did you just move the shadows or did the sun move?” Devyn asked, words a little clearer but in a mix of a yawn.
