These toddlers were going to have to get more creative. A party out in the woods around the school? When Rebekka heard, she snorted. At least they should have gone to the town. Even someone's house in Kalispell would've been better. But this? Definitely not the best idea. Although it meant Rebekka got the chance to crash a party. So in a way she was glad someone hadn't gotten a clue on where to hold the get-together. At least her night would be fun.
She could hear the music eventually. Knowing this sort of thing, there would be alcohol too. There was always alcohol. Eventually it would get in. The lights were getting brighter, and soon enough Rebekka would be there. Although she wanted to look around a bit first. That's why she'd beaten the rest of the security. To recognize some of the faces before everyone started running. Rebekka grinned. That was the most fun part.
There was a pretty good crowd. She had no idea what music was playing but from the looks of it she'd been right. There was alcohol. She could smell it. But she was used to it so she could stomach it. Instead she made her way through the crowd. Memorizing faces. Some of these kids were going to be unlucky either way. Eventually she got on the opposite side near the drinks. She was old enough herself, so she grabbed a beer and popped it open. Now it was just a waiting game as she leaned against one of the tables and drank.

When the then nineteen year old signed up for the camping trip, he knew he would not be able to throw a birthday party like the ones he normally did or even if he did, which he did, he could not gather the same crowd. So once Cash Hunter was back in town, his friends wasted no chance to celebrate the boy's youth. Partly, it was all just another excuse for everyone to get drunk because that was teens his age did.
His friends that were left behind threw another party for him. This time a similar one to the one on the camping trip, it was held in the woods. Cash however did not hear word about it until the last minute. But thanks to his speed, he quickly made his way there.
"The birthday boy's here!" shouted his friend to announce the twenty year old's arrival. A drink was immediately thrust into his hands, to which he gladly accepted. People cheered and plastic cups were raised. The music was blasting and the boy chatted with some, before he found his way near the drinks area to top up on his drink.
There, he saw a girl drinking alone. A not bad looking one either. After taking another bottle, he sidled up next to her and took a swig of his drink. "Either you just went through a break up or this party is really lame and that's why you're all by yourself. So what's up?"

Someone shouted something about a birthday boy. Rebekka glanced over and noticed one kid. So, it was a birthday party was it? Maybe Rebekka would give him even more of a head start then. Maybe. She wasn't really one for mercy anyways. She took another drink and just gazed for a bit. Until suddenly the birthday boy decided to join her. And he even tried to start a conversation. Rebekka smirked. A break up or a lame party huh? "Maybe it's neither and I'm just here to drink all the booze?" She offered instead.
She wouldn't mind confiscating the items after. For now she'd just drink at least a bottle or two. Depended on how long her fellow staff members took. She took another swig. Then eyed the boy with a raised brow. "So, birthday boy huh? Why're you over here with a sour puss instead of dancing?" She asked. She had a feeling she knew why though. There was only one thing on most boys his age. So one thing that would draw him to a girl like her.

"Well, there's that," he nodded, agreeing. "Drinking it all up before anyone else could, huh? Smart." He was pretty sure that was probably the main reason why everyone turned up to a party nowadays. Not everybody was blessed like Cash Hunter to look older than he technically was and had fairly easy access to alcohol.
One might think Cash would have gotten bored after two or three parties over and over again but even though it was the same old same old thing one after another, the boy pretty much welcomed all the distractions ever since he had gotten back from that camping trip. There was a certain thing that he wished he could drink to forget.
Though that had not proved successful yet.
The twenty year old chuckled at the question. "I am fortunate to have friends that loves to celebrate my youth." He laughed. "And like you, I came for this," he said, indicating the bottle of beer in his hand before taking another swig at it. "But I'm not shy on the dance floor. That is, if you wanted to." He offered his empty hand to her.

She grinned and took a swig. "Someone's bound to do it anyways. Why not make it me?" She responded. She was likely the one to take it all anyways. After the bust that is. Right now she was just enjoying the view. Oh how little all these party-goers knew. They'd discover soon enough the error of their location. Then Rebekka could have a fun time chasing them down. That or just taking all the drink. Both would probably be the best. Either way she won tonight.
He said he had good friends who liked to celebrate him. He was also over near her for the beer. Rebekka laughed. "Nice friends. And 'm not surprised. Everyone goes for the drink first." If here was one stereotype about parties people actually did, it was hat. Sure there were a few who wouldn't drink, but for the majority Rebekka got scenes like this. What she didn't normally get was the offer to dance. Rebekka looked down at his hand and then laughed, harsh sounding as usual.
"Sorry there party boy, but I don't really do dancing." She answered. Rebekka gestured to the large crowd already dancing. "But I'm sure a charmer like you could easily get one of the girls in there to take you up on your offer." Especially if they'd been drinking for a while. Which, judging from the way some of these kids were moving, a few had. Rebekka took another drink herself. Then looked the boy over. "So if this is your birthday party, how old are you now huh?"
Post by Cash Hunter on May 14, 2016 11:34:23 GMT -6
The boy chuckled. "Nice logic you got there. I'll drink to that." And that he did. Underage drinking was clearly nothing new to Cash Hunter.
Her comment on his nice friends made him snorted. "Yeah...they're really nice. Possibly not genuinely though," he said, just throwing it out there. Cash never really knew who were his true friends and who were just hanging around for the benefits that came with his name. However, the boy stopped worrying about it a long time ago because as long as they were useful to him, he'd let them stay.
When she refused the offer, he held his hands up and shrugged. "No harm done." He stared at the dancing crowd beforr them. What she said was not entirely off. If Cash slipped his way through the crowd, he was sure he would find a decent and good looking dance partner. And maybe even take her back to his dorm if she agreed and did not pass out along the way. "You're probably right but..." But that was what he had done during all the previous parties these past weeks. "...but maybe this time around I'll take a change. Drinking and talking to a girl is not something I get often." He winked.
He raised his bottle for another gulp, but stopped when he heard her question. He stared at her with a raised eyebrow. "Are you serious?" Then he laughed. "Okay, do you not know who I am?" He laughed again before tilting back the drink into his mouth. "I thought all beautiful people knew each other? Well, I don'technically know you but we can rectify that," he said with a lopsided grin.

He could drink to that. And so he did. Rebekka laughed and drank herself. Until he spoke up about his friends. Rebekka slowly lower her bottle. She glanced at him and raised a brow. he was speaking the truth. Not all friends were genuine. Still, the fact the kid was admitting that was actually impressive. Not many she knew liked to think about it. Much less talk to a stranger about something like that. it was actually a little refreshing. Maybe she's warn him after all.
He also took her rejection well. Which was better for his sake. Persistence in those kinds of things usually managed to piss Rebekka off. So far he wasn't acting as dumb as Rebekka expected. It was a welcome change of pace. And he seemed to be looking for a change too. He decided to stay by her side instead and threw in a wink. Rebekka snickered. "It's more than I know most of these meat heads will do." She replied, gesturing to the crowd. "Might mean you've actually got something worthwhile and active between those ears of yours."
He looked downright surprised when she asked her question. Rebekka returned his stare and raised brow. Was it really that horrifying of a question? Then he was laughing. Rebekka snorted when he asked if she knew him. Oh great, looked like she was stuck with one of those ones. Although there was a speck of hope from how he'd been talking before. "Sorry party boy, but I don't know you. It's why I asked. And we'll see how much you'd want to know me after this party's done." Considering she was there to crash it, she doubted he'd want to know her after that. She could be surprised though.

The boy smirked and chuckled at the reply. Well Cash was never the one who liked to throw himself at people, especially when it was not welcomed. Usually that was because it was the other way around. Girls threw themselves at him. It was true when he said he did not often get these normal conversations. The fact that he was even having one at a party no less was refreshing and nice. Huh, life still offer surprises.
The thought that the girl did not know who he was did not bother him as much as it did before but instead the boy found it pretty funny. Cash was so used to be around people who knew him, he forgot there were some that did not know. This was probably the third time this month and he could not help but laugh. He arched an eyebrow in questioning at what she last said. "Why? Are you planning on giving me some creppy weird birthday present?" he said jokingly with a scoff. Tilting his head back, Cash downed all the remains of his beer and watched the girl from the corner of his eye.
"I'm just saying, if it's voodoo, it's a no for me." With that, he pushed himself off the table and stood in front of her. "Cash Hunter. Twenty," he introduced. "Now, would you like another bottle, miss...?"
Post by Rebekka Knight on May 14, 2016 22:14:58 GMT -6
He laughed about her not knowing him. Rebekka just finished off her drink. She didn't particularly care who he was. Rich, poor, or medium, she treated everyone the same.It was just her was. He asked about a birthday present and Rebekka snorted. "Your present is the fact I'm here and nothing's gone to absolute shit yet." She responded with a smile. She could've easily taken down the party already. But she was being nice for now. or at least what she considered nice.
He mentioned something about voodoo. Rebekka stared at him. What was he going on about? Then he stood in front of her and introduced himself. Cash Hunter, and 20. So he was underage? She wasn't too surprised. Then he was asking to get her another drink. Rebekka grinned. "Rebekka. And sure thing, party boy. And when you get back I might actually give you a present." She replied. The other staff members were probably close by now. This party was about to be busted. Why not give him a head start?

Cash Hunter grinned. He could not help it when people revolved the world around themselves. Heck that was what he usually did anyway. "Turning into shit? Darling don't be such a pessimist. I'd like to think my friends still knew how to throw a decent party," he said, laughing. The music was blasting and most probably were intoxicated. Nothing strange for a party in the woods.
He frowned at his empty bottle. He kind of just arrived at the party, what harm could one more bottle bring. Since he was going to get another, he offered to get one for the girl too who apparently was named Rebekka. "Well what do you know, doesn't that sound promising. But like I said, if it's a voodoo doll or something then you can keep it. Thanks." Cash smirked before turning around to get a couple more beers. He discarded the empty ones and returned with two new, opened and full ones. He handed a bottle to Rebekka. "Cheers."

Pessimist? Rebekka snorted. "Sorry there buddy boy, but pessimism is part of my nature." She responded with a grin of her own. he did have a point. The party was decent. If not in a horrible spot. Really, who's idea was this? Rebekka didn't care too much. Just proved that kids seemed to be getting more stupid. At least as far as she was concerned. Which wasn't much. Besides, she got more fun out of this.
Apparently her comment sounded promising. Unless it was a voodoo thing. What was with the voodoo? Maybe the kid had some kind of experience with someone else doing that. Either way, Rebekka laughed. He went off to get them beers at least. Rebekka took the new bottle gladly. When he offered cheers, she grinned and offered back. "Cheers." She took a long swig before exhaling. A lick of flame came out of her mouth as she did. Rebekka didn't notice.
"Alright then, birthday boy. My present to you is a heads up." she darted, grinning toothily. "In a few minutes this party is going to be crashed by some school officials. So I suggest you hightail it out of here before they catch you." It was a good enough warning. And as much as he'd get out of her.

The twenty year old gulped down the alcohol easily. The taste put a smile on his face. He supposed now he could say he had just hang around at a party, drinking beers with a girl at the back instead of mixing and minggling with the crowd. This was probably the fourth or fifth birthday party his friends threw for him. He was partly glad that they did not sought him out to dance or pull some crazy stunts by the river or whatever. Cash already did those so chilling out was a nice alternative.
In a drunken state or not, the college student was aware of his surrounding. The quick flash of light caught his attention but before he could say anything about it, he heard his 'present' from Rebekka. Both eyebrows shot up in confusion. "What? Is this just you being a pessimist or did you actually ratted us out?" And here he thought he could have a nice conversation.

Just like that, his expression changed. Rebekka knew her little reveal wasn't going to make him that happy. She grinned anyways. There was a smug satisfaction she got from that look. She'd seen the light too. They were close. Cash seemed more confused now. Rebekka just laughed. "Afraid not. And I'm not the one that ratted you out, party boy. Someone else did. I'm just here to crash it." She said, taking another swig. At this point she might as well reveal herself.
"Still, it's your birthday." She added, more musing than anything. "Cruel as I can get, I'll at least let you get a heads start. And ignore the alcohol for now." She said. Finally there were shouts coming from the other end. The staff members had gotten there. Rebekka laughed harshly and shook her head. Then glanced over at Cash. "Best be on your way now, party boy. Unless you're looking to get caught with a beer in your hand. Hell you might even be able to run with it." She pointed out.

Since he had gotten back with a new bottle, he realized he did not get a chance at least down half the bottle down before Rebekka surprised him with her little present. "You?" His tone was mockingly accusing. Cash took another look at the girl beside him. He did not pegged her as one of the school's officials but maybe that was why their paths had never crossed before. Until now. Where she was practically busting a party thrown for him.
When he heard the shouts, he knew the party was over. This was the exact thing Elliot had warned him about when he first threw that party in the forest during the camping trip. Damn it. He stared at the bodies running and scattering all over before bringing his gaze back to the girl with a smug look on her face. "Not bad."
Someone bumped him from behind and basically shouted at him to make a move on it. But instead he waved and gestured for the person to move along. A little cocky, but Cash was not panicking considering he had his ability. With his super speed, he dashed to the box that contained the beer bottles and brought it over back to Rebekka. He placed it at her feet. "Here, a little something. You know, as a thanks for the heads up."
Smirking, he bent down to take another bottle and then super speed out of there. What a party.

Rebekka laughed and nodded. "Me." She responded. Her grin was toothy. She found satisfaction in the surprise on his face. He'd find more satisfaction catching the rest of the toddlers. Although he didn't run just yet. That managed to surprise her somewhat. he even gave her something like a compliment. Which she wasn't expecting. She'd just crashed this boy's birthday party, and he was saying "not bad?" If he could appreciate that sort of thing, maybe they actually shared something in common. That would be new.
He was a cocky little brat wasn't he? Going so far as to wave someone off and ignore the shout to get moving. Rebekka raised a brow. But then he showed his power, and she chuckled. No wonder he was being so confident. Super speed definitely came in handy here. But then he managed to shock her again. He got her the whole container of beer. Even called it his show of thanks for her heads up. Not that he'd likely need it, unless the power suppressors were there. Rebekka laughed, and it wasn't quite so harsh this time.
"Sure thing, party boy. Good luck." She said. He grabbed a bottle and zoomed off. Rebekka didn't even bother going after him. She was fast, but not super fast. Instead she chugged the rest of her beer. It burned on the way down, but that's just how she liked it. She had kids to catch. This was where the real fun started.
