How long had she been out here? According to her pack, 3 bottles and a half. But it wasn't like Charlie cared. She was too busy focusing on the glob of metal between her fingers. It shifted and changed easily into any shape she wanted. But there was the problem. Charlie didn't know what she wanted to make. She was stuck. What did they call it? Writer's block. Only this time it was with metal and not a page. Still the concept was the same.
She finished off her coka-cola and put the empty bottle back in it's slot. The cans were less expensive and would give her more metal to work with. But Charlie loved the glass bottles. Somehow it made the drink taste even better. Besides, she still got the metal from the caps. Charlie took out a fresh one and peeled the cap off. It slipped away without any resistance as she added it to the little mass in her hands. Even more metal to work with. But her issue still stood.
Charlie grunted in frustration. Even another few drinks for her new bottle didn't help. Although it did make her feel a little better. Eventually she just started toying around. A dog. A bear. A chair. A house. Charlie went through a number off different ideas but couldn't quite find one she wanted. She was ready to just make a ball and call it a day.
