You would think the students would learn by now. Although this only further convinced Rebekka that the kids were actually toddlers. There had been another fight. This one managed to go on longer than normal before someone actually got the idea to get a security member. Rebekka had been on the scene in no time at all after that. It was two boys. When she got there, they were both pretty beaten up. Powers had obviously been used during the fight, which only made things worse. It hardly took any effort for Rebekka to break up the scene. From the looks of the two, they were ready for things to end.
Which they did. Or at least the fighting portion. Now Rebekka had to drag them back inside from the parking lot. One she had to actually carry while the other limped along. While Rebekka wasn't angry, she wasn't happy either. The one in her arms was close to being unconscious, and the other wasn't doing much better. She'd scolded him anyhow, but now she was focused on getting them to the nurse. Hopefully someone would be in at that moment.
Rebekka didn't enter in the typical fashion. Rather she more or less kicked open the door. "Anybody home?" She asked loudly, stepping in. She glanced back at the other kid. "Come on bucko." Then she looked back around. "I've got two toddlers in need of some patching up. One of them is sort of unconscious."

Another slow day.
Naturally, in Corey's line of work a slow day was decidedly a good thing. The fewer students or staff members put in danger from any number of the volatile and unforeseen circumstances that could befall the residents of the Academy the better. Corey had seen his share of such things and was perfectly content to relish in a quiet afternoon. He was part of the second paramedic team making it a good time to do a favor to the nursing staff and let them all head out for a long lunch, leaving Corey and his partner behind to hold the fort. Nothing he hadn't done a thousand times before.
The big man quirked a brow and glanced up from the tablet that was in front of him once the door was all but kicked in. He didn't move at first, remaining seated behind the counter with his feet propped up on the table, rather he studied the young woman and her charge as they stormed into the nurse's office for a long moment. After a few moments he leaned forward and placed the tablet on the table and slowly got to his feet. "And what the hell happened here?" He asked, his voice not raising a single octave or losing any of the calm, collected tone he always seemed to have.

The guy hardly reacted. Which Rebekka was fine with. She hated it when people panicked with something like this. "There was a fight. Powers involved." She responded. She was pretty sure the kid beside her flinched. "Both of them are pretty scrapped up. Meanwhile this guy here is fading in and out." She looked over the student she was carrying. Right now he was in the out phase. "I'm not too sure what powers they have, but from all the cuts one of them should be sharp."
Rebekka stopped after that. The guy could probably figure all that out on his own. He was a nurse anyways, right? So Rebekka just headed in more and looked. Hopefully she wouldn't have to hold the kid for too long. He was getting heavy. He was also bleeding a bit and Rebekka wasn't exactly thrilled to find blood on her shirt. She'd already had one messed up by coffee that week. Blood was even harder to get out.

Corey rounded the counter and stepped out into the lobby area of the nurse's office. Yes, he and his partner (a tall, lanky young man who had followed suit and approached to assess the situation) were the only ones on duty but it was obvious neither of them were nurses. Rather than the usual scrubs worn by the staff the two men were clad in black t-shirts with the gold Bellefonte crest emblazoned on the breast and utility pants with large, black boots.
It took the two paramedics mere seconds to establish a course of action and set it in motion with nary a word between them. Corey stepped forward, relieving Rebekka of the unconscious student while his partner led the other away to tend to him. Before long the situation was well in hand. The primary paramedic team was summoned to transport the more seriously injured student to the local hospital after Corey had ensured he was stable enough and with a bit of patching up the other was begrudgingly sent off with a councilor to investigate the nature of the fight. The two paramedics had moved with a practiced grace and calm, methodical movements. This was nothing either of them hadn't seen a thousand times before.
"Well, that was interesting." Corey said with a soft chuckle as he pulled the rubber gloves off his hands and tossed them into a nearby biohazard bin. His eyes shifted to the security official and he offered a faint shrug of his broad shoulders. "Just another day at the office?"

Not exactly nurses. That much Rebekka could tell from a glance. Still, they were there and they seemed competent. So Rebekka gladly handed over the kid once the man took him. But for some reason she stayed. Even took a seat in one of the chairs. Why? Rebekka could easily leave at this point. Her portion of the job was done. But stay she did. Impatiently bouncing her foot. She wanted to smoke but knew doing so wasn't the smartest thing in this kind of room. So she read instead.
She was just developing an even more solid hatred for the Kardashians when the man came back. Rebekka dumped the magazine gladly. He was chuckling while he threw the gloves away. Interesting? Rebekka snorted, but she was smirking. "Pretty much. Usually I get them before they knock each other out. This time was a rare case. Still, at least the unconscious ones don't try to run away." She responded. "Although running makes it more fun." She added with a chuckle. "So, those two idiots going to be alright?"

Corey chuckled again and turned to cross the room, heading back toward the desk behind the counter. "I have a feeling those two won't be causing much trouble once the Academy gets done with them." He mused. Bellefonte, while understanding of the volatile mixture of teenagers being away from home for the first time and dangerous super powers, had little tolerance for fights, let alone those that involve the use of said powers. The punishments would be swift and harsh, of that Corey was sure. "But if the threat of discipline was enough there'd be little need for people like us."
He cast a short glance over his shoulder to the security official before turning his attention to the desk. After a bit of digging around he emerged from behind the counter with a clipboard and a pen. "They'll be fine." Corey assured with a nod. "One just has some cuts and bruises, nothing a few days rest can't fix. The other probably has a concussion. He'll have a hell of a headache when he comes to but I think he'll be fine. We only sent him to the hospital as a precaution."
Once he crossed the room again to where Rebekka was sitting, Corey offered her the clipboard. "Would you mind filling out this incident report?" He asked with a hint of hopefulness creeping into his voice. "It'll make everything so much easier."

Rebekka laughed. It was more than a little harsh, as usual. "Yeah me too. Although some of these kids just don't know when to quit." She replied drily. Not that she was complaining. Sure it would make her job easier, but not as much fun. There was a thrill to be had when Rebekka got to strike fear into some of the student's hearts. A high when all the color drained from their faces at her approach. That probably wasn't a good thing. Not that Rebekka cared. She was sadistic. She's already gladly accepted that.
But for some reason she'd asked. Why would she care about the fates of some brats? Could it be she actually cared deep down? Probably not. At least she was convinced not. Besides they'd be fine. Even the one sent to the hospital, according to the big guy. Rebekka chuckled. "Maybe that'll teach him not to duke it out in a parking lot." She responded. Thankfully neither were in serious condition. That would just make everything harder.
The guy came back around just as Rebekka was getting up. He offered a clipboard. Rebekka stared at it, and then arched a brow. Fill out an incident report? Rebekka scowled in displeasure, but glanced at the guy. It wasn't like she had anything else to do. He even seemed hopeful. She stared for a while before finally huffing. She swiped the clipboard from him and plopped back down. "Yeah yeah. Will do papa bear."
