It had been a long and stressful day, being trapped by her own powers and all. Not exactly a cheerful camping experience so far. Silvia finally made her way back to her assigned cabin, rolled herself into the blankets, and willed herself to sleep. She thought she would be too upset to do so... but in the end, exhaustion and ebbing adrenaline won, and she was out like a light before she knew it.
Her brain, however, was still trying to work out the brand new experience of plants as a source of danger.
In her dream, Silvia was back in the woods, just off the camp site, except the trees were darker, and the shadows were deeper, and there was something menacing about the whole place. She turned, trying to orient herself, but distance and direction warped in on themselves, and she could not tell which way to go. She walked anyway, the way one walks in a dream.
As he moved, vines detached themselves from ancient trees and followed along.

The one thing Penelope hadn't taken into consideration, was how her power would work when sleeping in the same room as other people. She had hoped that she would be free of her power out in the wilds, but sadly, that wouldn't appear to be the case.
The moment her mind had drifted away from the world of the awake, Penelope found herself in yet another dream and the moment she opened her eyes, she realized it was not her own. She could feel her own power surge around her. "Crap," she muttered to herself.
Then things started manifesting and there was a girl. Alone. In the middle of the woods. She focused on the girl, trying to place her, but she was nothing more than yet another unfamiliar face. Sighing, the brunette drew closer to the girl, trying her best to remain silent so she didn't startle her... The last thing she wanted was for this to turn into a nightmare...

There was someone else in the woods. She could tell, more than see, the way people could tell things in a dream without any reason. Silvia wasn't alone. She turned, looking, and noticed the coiling vines reaching out for her. Her powers were acting up. She couldn't stay in once place. She started walking again, trying to find a way out, trying to see who else was in the woods. Maybe it was one of the campers.
"Hello?"
She knew it was a mistake the moment she spoke out loud. Strange flowers appeared on the trees and vines all around, the kinds of flowers that had no business appearing on oak trees or thorn bushes, and would have been more fit for some ancient jungle... large, and colorful, and vaguely menacing. Silvia stared at them, before she backed away slowly.

Penelope watched the girl carefully as she grew closer. Something was following her, something Penelope couldn't quite make out. Though, she had a vast experience with dreams and if they had taught her anything, it was that anything could happened in dreams. She grew less and less surprised for each time something odd happened.
Then there was a voice. Someone, likely the girl she was following, calling out.
Once Penelope felt she was close enough, she stopped. She looked at the blonde; she looked familiar, but Penelope couldn't quite place from where. "Hey," she said, carefully at first as she took another step closer. The blonde seemed busy, and Penelope only then noticed the flowers on the trees. It struck her as oddly beautiful.

A girl appeared in her dream - a girl that looked vaguely familiar, but Silvia could not quite place her. Was she one of the campers? One of the faculty? Someone from another life?... It was a dream, after all, and dreams tended to drag up strange faces that one could not always recognize. She seemed harmless though, and Silvia felt, in dream-like certainty, that she could trust her.
She walked towards the other girl.
"Hey" she whispered, and bushes nearby burst into large flowers, much faster than they would have reacted to her voice in real life. Some looked like carnivorous plants, and others looked like they were blinking like eyes. "Do you... know... which way to the camp?"
Whisper as she might, the foliage around them kept vigorously blooming. And then, from beyond the flowers, in the shadows, a growl was heard.
