{EDCT} Rose in the briar (OPEN)

The camping trip was supposed to encourage people to socialize. That was kind of the entire point. Go out, camp out, get sorted into cabins, build teams, have fun. Socialize. Silvia had gone into it knowing that was the point... and yet, as an introvert, she found that the whole camping thing was a lot more... crowded, than she had expected. Not that she did not like Dory as a roommate, or was not curious about possibly making new friends. It was just... exhausting.

As people moved into their cabins and explored the area, Silvia found herself wandering away from them and into the woods. She did not go far - they were in the wilderness, after all not on school ground. But she desperately needed to get away for some peace and quiet, and sort her brain out. So she did. She found a comfortable spot under a large tree, and nestled into a hollow between its roots. She enjoyed the sounds of the forest, the fresh air, the peacefulness...

... and she only closed her eyes for a moment. Or so it seemed.

It was late afternoon now, the sun low on the horizon. Silvia's eyes fluttered open in the hollow and she rolled to her side, raising her hand to shield her eyes from the rays of the low sun.

"Ow!"

Her hand hit something sharp. Twisting, she sat up, and something similarly sharp scraped across her forehead.

"OW!"

A pale pink flower opened right before her eyes.

While she had slept, a thorny tangle of briar rose grew up right around her, in a very tangible rendering of the legend of Sleeping Beauty. Her powers had whipped the vegetation nearby into a frenzy... and now she was trapped inside a thicket of thorny vines.

"Uh... help?..."

Stella was having fun, for the first time since moving into the school. She was exploring, swimming, shooting things. It was actually a lot more fun than she thought it was going to be. She hadn't actually believed she would ever find a place where the colors seemed to dimmer than the world around her. She was always on an acid trip, at least that was the best way to describe it. It's not like she was upset her world was colorful, if she was an artist than she was sure that she'd appreciate things much more.
She was on her way back to her Cabin, she had went to climb a tree and see how far she could go up before she started to see people as ants. She was halfway when she realized having rope was probably a good idea so she climbed back down to go and find some at camp. She barely heard the voice. Soft pink wasn't a color she heard very often so she was surprised with it seemed to be coming from a thorn brush of some sort.
"Uh, Hold on, ill get you out in a second and try not move." She took out her old swiss army knife, she was sure that she shouldn't have it anywhere on school campus. It reminded her of when her and her father were actually on good terms. She probably needed a new one, one that had a better memory.
She started to carefully cut the vines away, trying not to poke herself as she tried to work quickly. "How did you even get yourself into the prediciment?" Even as she said it, she knew it was a stupid answers. Stupid mutant abilities, at least hers wasn't the only one inconviencing her.

Someone heard her. She had not been yelling at the top of her lungs, but someone still heard her, and Silvia was relieved that she had not ventured too far from the camp. A girl's voice answered her from outside the thicket. 

>>"Uh, Hold on, ill get you out in a second and try not move... How did you even get yourself into the prediciment?"

Silvia stayed as still as she could, watching as the girl cut away at the vines. They were still growing, at almost visible speed, twisting around for purchase. 

"It's my powers" she explained; more pale pink flowers blossomed on the vines at hearing her voice. Uh-oh. She could barely see through the thorns to begin with, she did not need any more cover. But she also had things to say, so she spoke as softly as she could.

"Should we call a teacher?..."

Stella tilted her head towards the voice and nodded. Right go get a teacher and leave the girl to get even more tangled in the vines. It was times like this she wished that she had full power, like cutting or something that made her able to resist thorns because this she was really tired of mutant abilities going haywire. "How do I know you'll be alive if i go get a teacher and come back?" She asked staring at the vines still trying to cut her way to the girl.

She was pretty sure the girl would be in even more trouble should she try and go get someone. There had to be a way to solve it. "What instead of cutting the vines we just strip the thorns? you can wiggle your way out and the vines will only be damaged a little bit?" She was already trying her plan, if this didn't work she'd have to go and find help. Perhaps someone who could burn the vines to the ground.

>>"How do I know you'll be alive if i go get a teacher and come back?"

That was a very dark thing to say. Silvia drew a breath. She had never thought about her own powers killing her... that was just not possible. Was it? Why would Nature do something like that?
There was no need to panic. She clearly was not going to die. In the worst case scenario, she would just get horribly scratched up...

>>"What instead of cutting the vines we just strip the thorns? you can wiggle your way out and the vines will only be damaged a little bit?"

"Can you do that?" Silvia asked, and more flowers bloomed on the vines, concealing the thorns. She wiggled into a sitting position, curling up into a ball "Do you have powers?... Is there someone around with powers that can help?..."

The entire thorny tangle was a cascade of pink flowers not. It must have looked very pretty... except she did not exactly feel like admiring it. Not from the inside, anyway...

Stella was already stripping away the thorns, trying very hard not to break any vines. She didn't want angry plants trying to take her out. She was not fased by the flowers, she just kept feeling around for the thorns slowly making her way towards the girl. "We'll Yes I have powers but they won't help with this, and Nope I was just on my way back to camp...I haven't seen anybody."

Stella had managed to wiggle herself halfway through the vines, with a few set backs but she was really trying to defeat the vines because she felt the only way to get the girl out would be to set fire to the vines...and well she wasn't sure the girl would be okay after that. However, it would be quicker and she figured that she'd ask.
"Would you like to burn the vines? I have a lighter"

>>"We'll Yes I have powers but they won't help with this, and Nope I was just on my way back to camp...I haven't seen anybody."

Silvia made a distressed little noise. This was... embarrassing. That should not have been the first word to pop into her head, but there it was. She had been trapped by her own powers, and her own idiocy for picking a sleeping place without checking the plants in the area. She could see the girl working furiously away at stripping the thorns from the vines, and she tried to do so on her end, but she soon got her hands bloodied.
And there was no one around to help.

"NO!" Silvia yelped, then clamped a hand over her mouth. It came out more panicked than she'd wanted, and now she was angry at herself. With that said... maybe burning a bush with her in it was not the best idea.

"I don't think that would be a good idea..." she muttered, sneezing some flower petals away. She wiggled, trying to find a point between the vines where she could start working her way out.
